My entertainment didn’t work through my flight, the crew member did the best they can but did not work.

Delay over an hour

Traveling Avianca was the worst experience especially on my return flight from bogato Colombia where I missed my flight because there was no gate number on the ticket and by the time we found out where to go which was through check in again where we were stuck on a huge line. First time I ever had to go thru check in on a connecting flight. Ended up having to by 6 tickets back to NY which is not right.

No food - No entertainment! Service really sucks!

Entertainment and seat space was great . Meal was not tasty , plain , no vegetable at all, all wheat .

Next day we were transported (they show up 2 hours later from the promised time) we were transported to the airport to actually catch a flight to another different city to then arrive wait 4 more hours to catch a plane to our final destination... a 3 hours and 45 minutes flight from Miami turned into a 4 different city, hotel and nightmare, luggage’s were broke and everybody turned out to be rude rude rude rude!!!!!!... I am still waiting for my $200 promised Boucher. This is my last time flying with AVIANCA. I am a frequent flyer and have made the decision to fly AA from now On... Actually just purchased a ticket which was actually $100 more than Avianca... nothing like great service and respect towards your clients... I’m also making sure NOBODY flys with AVIANCA."

Several passengers were told their connecting flight would definitely be held for them. A few of us asked for a guarantee because we would rather pay to rebook another flight than get stuck, and the gate attendents at JFK said it was certain we would make our flights. Once we got to El Salvador we were told they never intended to hold our flights. Avianca agents there told the handful of us going to Cancun we we're rebooked on Copa Airline and would have to go to Panama first, then Cancun, and arrive around 10 pm instead of 11 am. Other passengers were stuck in El Salvador for even longer. For our trouble, they only offered a $70 voucher for Avianca which is essentially useless to most of us since it has extensive restrictions. On top of this, the plane seating was small and the food was terrible. When we got switched to Copa there was at least slightly more leg room and better food. Do not fly Avianca!!"

The airport closed off checking in 90 mins before departure. Showed up at the airport and was denied entry. Had to re book the flight.

The plane is old and really small. Crew was great

The flight itself was good. Unfortunately I somehow found myself surrounded by 2 rows of families with small children. I had about all of the seat kicking and yelling that I could take for 3ish hours straight. Kinda wish the staff could have intervened somehow.

I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

Friendly crew

Had 80 min from landing to connecting flight. Despite no delays on my behalf and walking briskly, security and customs got me to the gate at the time of departure - only to find that they closed the door of the plane. Gate agent reopened door and we found flight 1/2 full. In subsequent 15 min the flight completely filled. Fortunately GREAT gate supervisor who recognized a problem but in general needed better communication w security process to help those stuck in security.

Experience with Customs a miserable delay- 1 agent unacceptable- causing delays boarding-missing connecting flights- long lines. My luggage was to fly through to Jacksonville Fla- did not arrive. It was tracked & should arrive today. This procedure needs to be replaced.

Not much… woman's bathroom was Disgusting at airport. AirCanada has become the worst ever. No respect at all for peoples luggage, throwing/smashing suitcases. Some employees need to find new jobs, their rude and not happy….. Not too mention AirCanada cannot seem to maintain any schedules at all… constantly changing flight times, gates, etc. It’s time that AirCanada either a) close the business b) replace all rude and luggage beating employees or 3) replace AirCanada’s upper management.. other words revamp it. I will drive and/or fly out of the USA for future flights until they get their company in order.

Air Canada lost my ski bag on the way from Vancouver and a week later, again, on my way back to Seattle. Lost two days of scheduled ski time, one day at a remote BC hut. My lost bag was one of 6 from our group of 13 and one of 2 on the way home, of 2! I've never seen such shoddy bag handling service ever.

Cons: "The flight came in 20 minutes late, and managed to leave 1 hour late -- I've never before seen a flight become even MORE late because of the boarding agent. There was no communication whatsoever. There was only one agent working the gate. When it was time for passengers who needed help boarding, he took them back one at a time, leaving the gate completely unstaffed. When he came back, he strolled like there was no urgency whatsoever. Every other airline I'm on tries to speed up boarding if the plane is already late. I was amazed that they didn't even add a second agent to the gate."
Cons: "Air Canada stopped flying to SLC while we we're on our trip. so it made the connections to other flights after getting to Toronto (from Amsterdam) really tricky and tight on time. While on the flight from Amsterdam, things were great, but that stress of being rerouted was not great..."

Amazing stuff !!. So awful it now seems funny !...Almost missed my days in and out Sanaa Airport in Yemen with Yemen Air !!!"

I could have missed my flight had I not found someone who let me get in line with them. 20 people DID miss the flight. Absolutely ridiculous. When we asked security if we could be expedited they said we had to take it up with Air Canada. So here I am taking it up with you. And then when we finally DID get to Montreal, we were taken to the international terminal. How does that happen??? This delayed me even more, causing me and the entire plane to wait while they figured out what to do with us. Because of these mistakes and delays, I missed the final bus that would have taken me to my final destination. I had to spend 175 dollars on a hotel because I was stranded. I am a student. This is no small fee to pay. I would like to demand that I get at least that amount in reimbursement for this HUGE mistake."

Plane is so long it takes forever for even simple beverage service to get to you, blocking aisles for hours while various carts are dragged about. At one point I was so dry I had to page air staff to ask for more water (and I Never do that!). Food was mediocre at best. Landing, plane shook so hard I thought it would come apart! Planes like this need to be retired FAST. Last time I will fly this equipment. I'm literally going to pay all those ridiculous fees to change my return flight. Hated this exhausting, inconvenient, unpleasant and entirely too expensive experience. Don't fly Air Canada overseas!!"

Cons: "Someone was sitting in my seats and instead of making him move they made us move and tried splitting up my wife and 6 month old child about 4 rows apart. The air started blowing very hot air about halfway through the flight. Everyone was sweating and it was better to just turn the air off completely then keep it on. They tried taking care of it which helped for 5 minutes and then it started blowing hot again. Also the WiFi would kick you off after about 30 seconds and then make you go through a login that takes like 60 seconds. Needless to say... this was the first time I haven't flown Southwest in years... and with the kind of experience it's no wonder why it won't happen again any time soon."

My sister had to drive me to Boston so I could catch a flight to San Francisco, which took 6.5 hours because it flew over most of Canada for some reason AND had three babies that cried from start to finish. Oh and because I was a late addition, I had a middle seat. The second I turned my phone on after we landed I had another yet another text from United saying that my connection to San Diego had been delayed three hours and wouldn't take off until 11:15 pm."
