Cons: "Air Canada changed our seating on day of travel. I had ordered tickets over a month in advance and scheduled seating for my wife and I on our 3 leg flight. Air Canada changed our seating on the 1st and 3rd leg and we were no longer sitting together."

Cons: "Flight was 3 hours delayed but they delayed it 30 minutes at a time. Giant lines to board, poorly organized. Flight overbooked. Finally we were seated and they announce another 30 min delay because the “casseroles” weren’t hot. Flight attendants were clumsy and dropped ice on my head. Tiny seats."

Pros: "Helpful person at check in counter when I couldn’t check in online and the kiosk would not complete my check in process. Easy boarding. Very relaxed and friendly flight crew (less militant than other airline crews)."

The plane itself was an aged 767 with uncomfortable, cramped seats and no entertainment options whatsoever. Haven't taken an international flight this bad in years. Entire cabin smelled like the lavatories for the duration of the flight."

Pros: "Boarding and deplaning were easy and pleasant. The 4 hour wait passed pretty quickly. The seating was tight but expected. The flight was smooth, the crew friendly and responsive. Plane was clean, bathrooms clean, nicely kept that way throughout the flight. I did have help reconstructing my import-export card."
Cons: "Space under the seats is smaller than expected. With passengers waiting in the aisle to get their seats, I had a second to decide what to take out of my one carry-on before putting it in the overhead bin, and as a result, was without some necessities during the flight. Pearson is a problem. Flights from everywhere were backed up behind a single person operating in security, and hardly any AC personnel there could speak English clearly. The confusion & wait time pretty distressing to most people in line. I had 4 hours to the next flight so wasn't worried, but waited 1 hour in line in the airport hallway before getting in to present information to security. Situation at airport is not good at all. I'd try to avoid Pearson as a transit point if I could, in the future. The music channels were so distorted I couldn't listen to any of the offerings. Too bad about that, but it didn't ruin the flight. Arrival in Zurich was on time and easy."

The next flight was more than three hours later - and this despite looking at our aircraft for another 10 minutes before it left the gate. We were told that the gate had been closed despite six of us on the same connection. When we asked about supper, we were given a $10 coupon - had some difficulty finding a place for dinner under $10 at Pearson."

Get on the not sold out plane and sat in my original seat anyways which I had to pay business upgrade for. The plane was apparently sold out. WRONG! Not impressed at all! Don't upgrade"

Cons: "I was stuck up against the back galley with no armrest on the aisle but that was only the beginning when the guy in front reclined his seat the seat back it was dangerously close to my head. In the event of turbulence it would have been easy to sustain a massive blow to the head from the seat in front of me during a whiplash type motion. The person that approved this seating arrangement should be terminated."

If we fly with Air Canada another time we'll check first to make sure it isn't Air Canada Rouge before we book."

(They also thought it was fine for their toddler daugther to crawl into another sleeping passengers lap during flight. The crew was no help. I get that kids are kids but this was excessive. Flew back on Delta and didn't see any of this. Between this and their recent beating up of customers, no more United for me."

Airport services saved my day by carting me to the connecting flight TO SLC from Denver as there was only 15 minutes to get from one end of the concourse to the other. A little difficult to run there at my age. Any chance of allowing people with connecting flights disembark first instead of last in this situation?"
Cons: "Due to inclement weather conditions no liquids were served. Small bottles of water would be great - less likely to spill over in bad weather and thirst would also be quenched. Lack of luggage space for those of us with the correct allowance hand luggage instead of all the extra large pieces because people don't want to go to baggage claims or pay for baggage. Truly their suitcase not paid for is the same as mine paid for. Difference is the inconvenience of having to keep my hand luggage at my feet because of the larger pieces filled by passengers in group 1, 2, and 3 over my designated seat area."

HOWEVER, the plane had plenty of overhead luggage room to accommodate our luggage. We were told by the cabin staff that the gate personnel don't always check what size plane it is before requiring everyone to hand in their luggage."

Cons: "Flight got cancelled after being delayed for over 2 hours for mechanical issues. Gate agent was not overwhelmingly helpful or understanding to people's frustrations during the delay and didn't go out of her way to try to help. Customer Service was helpful and able to rebook and provide overnight hotel accommodations, but it was a very slow process that clearly frustrated some customers even more. Clearly not anyone's fault, but still frustrating and not a great flying experience."

Pros: "Food and drinks were great - even had three choices in Economy. Staff was great and attentive and seats were comfortable. Other than the screen problem mentioned everything else was great."
Cons: "The display screen was not calibrated, so if you pressed a button the button two buttons over would activate. This meant I could not watch movies or hear audio because those buttons didn't work. The staff rebooted the virtual Linux server for that seat, but this had no effect on the uncalibrated screen."

Cons: "I wanted to get on the earlier flight so after checking in I proceeded to the gate to speak with the gate agent about getting on the earlier 11:55 flight. She was no where to be found. Other members of my party that I had traveled with appeared and said they got on the earlier flight because they were looking for people to switch and offering it down stairs where you initially checked in. No body had offered it to me which infuriates me because now I could not go back downstairs through security. I was stuck upstairs waiting for someone in charge to appear. The gate agent arrived 1 minutes before the flight was supposed to board. She told me that it was too late to switch flights and that it should have been done down stairs when I initially checked in. She said they were looking for people which really irked me because no one had offered it to me. She then told me that she gave me the wrong bag tag and switched it out for the correct one. The air port was hot, crowded and smelly. The plane ride was over all okay. We did not start boarding on time (my tickecg said boarding would begin at 12 and we didn't start until about 12:45) and we left a few minutes late. Other than that I was grateful there was a TV on the plane"
