I travel frequently, and this was my first time flying with Air Canada. I was not impressed. Both of my flights were greatly delayed, and my luggage was lost. I have never had my luggage lost before, and when I went to speak to someone about it, I was told to scan a QR code and fill out a form. I was given no explanation of what to expect next or when I could expect feedback. I do not recommend flying with Air Canada.
In commenting about food and entertainment, there was no entertainment and I brought my lunch. The staff were all helpful and friendly.
flight was cancelled at an hour's notice- it appears that when flights are not full, customers are left to fend for themselves. I missed my one and only conference in 6 years, and the 900$ charge was not refundable.
The food selections are limited and not very good. No other issues.
From San Francisco to Calgary the seats were uncomfortable. We wish they could lean a bit back.
Crowded. Insufficient bathrooms for such a crowded and long flight. The food was horrible, both in content and preparation, and although I didn't try to choose other options, there didn't seem to be many. When I asked for water, the attendant said "sure," but it never arrived. When I asked for more, when water was served during dinner, she refused.
Lost all my luggage, which resulted in having to miss part of a prepaid hunting trip. Had to book into a hotel close to the airport in an attempt to recover my suitcase and an expensive firearm and lockable case. Do not ever use this airline. So far this has cost me well over a $1000 in bills and lost opportunities. Still not sure if my firearm will be recovered.
