In flight entertainment system did not work across the whole plane for entire flight. Seats were very cramped. Cabin temperature was freezing cold. Crew was miserable and answered everyone in a short and barking manner. I’ve flown air Canada many many times and never had an issue. But this was unpleasant.

They screwed up so bad, I asked for a short check for my luggage since we had a 21 hour overnight layover in London at a hotel. They said I have to receive my luggage in London because it’s an overnight layover. Get to London, nope, my bags aren’t coming off they are staying in terminal 5 over night and going straight to Ibiza. So we had no luggage for a whole day and basically stuck with no clothes or washroom stuff. Finally get to Ibiza and my luggage is completely smashed and damaged and missing a wheel. Now I have to drag this 50 lbs luggage around Ibiza islands for 10 days. Wtf. So pissed off Air Canada is LITERALLY THE WORST AIRLINE IN THE WORLD

After nearly nine years without traveling, my son and I decided to take our first flight, and we chose Air Canada and I’m so glad we did! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing. The flight itself was smooth, comfortable, and truly enjoyable. The staff were warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. But what really stood out for me was the luggage tracking feature. Knowing that my bag was scanned onto the same flight I was on gave me such peace of mind. It’s little details like this that make all the difference, especially after not traveling for so long. This trip was incredibly special for us, and Air Canada made it even more memorable. Thank you for such a fantastic experience I wouldn’t hesitate to fly with you again!

Overall the new aircraft’s is good and crew is good. Just overall airline policies and process needs to be better.

The seats were very uncomfortable. The food was terrible. They only came around with the drink cart for dinner and breakfast. What if we needed water or something? I had to take my pills in the morning with a pop I bought from the airport. Absolutely ridiculous! Will never be flying Air Canada again after this trip!

Flight canceled last minute. Chaos. People got told different stories. They would not rebook me at the counter, then we had to walk to the other end of the concourse to use the phones. Meanwhile, a family 10min later was able to rebook at the counter while at the same time, customer service told me there were no flights left. Took over 2 hours to get a rebooking on Scandinavian air the next day. Ended up getting charged $300 for 4 checked bags by air Canada and then getting charged for checked bags the next day. Worst of all. At 11pm,the night of the canceled flight, all but 2 customer service agents at the check I'm counters left, leaving more than 50 people still in line trying to figure out what to do.

It was late leaving but made up time in the air.

The first leg of my flight from Toronto to London Heathrow was horrible. The seats in Economy are so tightly jammed together that any average height person is so uncomfortable. Going to the bathroom as well from the window seat was also a challenge as you need to disturb so many people to move out! The second leg to Vienna was delayed over 2 hours due to weather in Vienna but the LHR airport is so large that they don’t post the gate until 40 mins before the flight. So I had to run to the opposite end of the airport (zone B) to the furthest zone A gate. Took over 15 mins!!

I can’t believe air Canada can get away with the space they give economy flyers. The seat was uncomfortable and hard. There was barely enough leg room. I had leg cramps most of the flight because I couldn’t stretch my legs at all… horrible on a transatlantic flight. The flight attendants were very nice but one guy I watched serve other people he was so rude and snarky I thought gosh you’re nothing but a pest when you ask them for anything. Main thing is the flight was smooth and we arrived safely.

Zone 1 doesn’t board first, 40 others boarded prior to Zone 1, also entertainment system stuck on Mandarin unable to access English
