Be careful when renting from Budget in LA. These guys add a “fuel option” to your bill — they say it will not be charged unless you return it with the fuel tank empty. This is NOT TRUE. If you bring it back full, they will still charge you the $100+ for the fuel option unless you physically go to the office to dispute the charge. The guy at the counter even told me that this is a way the guys at the counter “try to make more money” — so be aware.Reviewed 15 Sep 2025
