The old saying you get what you pay for must be true after picking up the car we drove it 59 miles turn the car off went to make a purchase came back out. The car would not start. We were in Glendora California so we had to wait an hour For your LAX location to have another driver. Bring us another car. . Obviously we had a dead battery. The line took over an hour and they were not helpful or accommodating. Made us cancel our reservation to change the name and get back in line for another half hour. Then they pressured us to purchase $25a day insurance and when we would not the service got even worse. The whole operation seems to thrive on selling over priced insurance.Reviewed 24 Sep. 2023

Hidden TermsPros:The car was new and clean.Cons:They rely on Carrentals.com which has a horrible customer service experience. I wanted to adjust my booking, but Carrentals.com insisted that U-SAVE policy would not allow it unless I booked another car with them. When I arrived to pick up my car, U-SAVE mandated that I purchase third party liability insurance from them as they don't accept Canadian or international insurance coverage. This consequently raised the cost of my rental by another $250. I will not use them again.Reviewed 5 Sep. 2017
