Waited two hours in line to pick up the car at LAX. This is not acceptable. I then found out on return of the car at SFO that the staff member who attended to me at LAX had sold me false information about the toll pass. Tried to speak to someone at dollar about this at SFO but was told to send customer service an email. Just very poor service with dollar. I needed a car for 5 hrs. The quoted price by the agent on-site was way too higher than the online prices. Had to reserve a car online in order for the agent to get me a batter price. This in fact was the 2nd car I rented from dollar in last 2 weeks. First one was booked for 13 days and the agent tried his level best to up sell various additional products by giving wrong information.Reviewed 7 Sep. 2023

I couldn't collect the car at LAX. I had all the documents including my valid passport, international driving license and a debit card. Avis has a weird policy that their machine should validate my passport (I don't know how their machine works) while my passport has been verified at the airport when I entered USA. Besides, the amount I prepaid was USD 233 on Debit car while they said that I should had a credit card (on Qeeq's email it was mentioned that physical debit cards are acceptable). Avis staff told me that I shall contact the Qeeq to process my refund. I contacted their call center but after more than 2 weeks I was told that I cannot be refunded. This is not fair that I was fully charged for a car that I was denied to pick up by Avis and Qeeq didn't help at all. This company is not trustworthy and the only reason I trusted them was their name appearing on Kayak. I never had a bad experience with Kayak and because of this, I would never rent a car on Kayak.Reviewed 17 Jul. 2023

Took over 5 hours to pick up the car! After travelling for 30 hours we just wanted to collect our car and get to the hotel. We had to stand in line for over 5 hours with no information provided other than gossip from others waiting stating that there were no cars available.
