My booking was not honored because the site I used was from HongKong and my driver's license is from Canada. I have never heard of this. At LAX, the counter told me that I had to request for a cancellation through qeeq via email, and told me they would book one through her system. It was x3 the price. I have not been able to cancel through qeeq. One of the worst car rental experiences I have had. I do not recommend Dollar nor qeeq. It seems like fraud.Reviewed 1 Sep 2026

I dropped off my vehicle at 5:15am at LAX rental center. There was one employee a couple of cars ahead of me She said I can go if there was no damage. I accidentally left the keys in my pocket. I realized this at the airport and gave them to the dollar shuttle driver to get them back. At the airport I saw that they charged me $500 for the keys. No tried to contact me and obviously I had the keys. I was still at the rental center when my car was checked in. I tried multiple times to call the rental office at LAX. The phone rings three times then hangs up. I wrote a complaint to them. Two days later and the charge is still on my credit card. The fact that it is impossible to speak to anyone is so infuriating.Reviewed 22 May 2026

After a long wait time, the associate try to scam us into buying a full package of additional insurance for $150+ without ever mentioning it at all. Be aware!! Ask questions! Double check your bill!! Don’t just sign anything!Reviewed 27 Apr 2026

Car was supposed to be ready for me when I got to the lot. I had to go to the counter. Rep informed me I could not use AAA and I had to buy roadside assistance at a significant uncharge. Return there was no service until a parking lot guy told me to just leave it after 15 minutes of waiting and told me they'd send a bill. It wasn't really great.Reviewed 28 Feb 2026

Although I reserved a car and checked-in prior to arriving, Dollar did not a car available when I arrived. It was a sad scene. At 1am, about a dozen customers were in the same position. No cars were available. Staff were indignant, unhelpful, and rude. I will never rent from Dollar again. I highly recommend that no one ever rent from this facility ever again.Reviewed 14 Feb 2026
