They initially stated the flight was cancelled, then said the flight was delayed waiting on the crew, then they said we had no captain. Therefore, it was a messed at the gate and people were really upset. The boarding crew didn't even know how to organize people into lines. Some people were given different flights and others were told to wait. Unbelievable"

Pros: "We just spent the last 3 weeks in South America including Peru, Ecuador and Galapagos. We took a total of 9 flights with Avianca including a couple of 50-55 minute connections. Flights were consistently on time and service was great. Amazingly, our luggage made it too despite the short connections. Service was very good. The crew was pleasant and they were always serving drinks and food/ snacks even on short flights although food is usual coach fare. All in all a very positive experience. Most of the North American airlines could learn a thing or two regarding punctuality, service and baggage handling."

Even thought we still had an hour before flight was scheduled to fly they claimed that we would not have enough time to check in bags before the departure. The rest of my party made it to the plane with plenty of time but my husband, 2 year old, 9 month old and I were left stranded in Tijuana, Mexico. The airline didn’t even offer a credit towards another flight, they we offering a new flight two hours later for $2,800 US. Then suggested to maybe arrive earlier next time, even though we arrived 3.5 hours before our domestic Mexico flight! Then when my party arrived at the destination they ask and complained about the incident and found out, the internal note said “ missed flight due to client refusing to pay luggage fees”! Horrible!!!!! What’s worse was that we had to spend the night the airport because they shut down shuttle/car rentals services. Aeromexico worst “company policy”and liars! Tijuana international airport is a joke! Don’t waste your time and money!"

Cons: "My first flight leg was changed to a later time without a change to my second leg. Upon calling AeroMéxico twice I was told my second leg would have to be rebooked at the airport. A couple hours later I was notified that my second flight was rebooked for THREE DAYS LATER! I immediately called AeroMéxico and ensured they booked me on my second leg that same day. Even after a flight change on the first leg, boarding out of Tijuana was delayed by at least 45 minutes due to lack of flight crew."

Because according to them I'm allow to have an extra bag if im flying in first class, but they change the airplane and did't have first class so I was in coach( but i pay for first class in my ticket) anyways they just say I'm sorry but you have to pay. So I ended paying a ticket in first class plus an extra bag."

Well that wasn’t the case my flight got canceled and I had to pay 250 dollar store to get back to Tijuana. If I’m not reimbersed by kayak I wil never use your services again and neither will my family which consists of 11 sibling of mine and more. I expect you guys to make it right. Cons: "In flight 1, from São Paulo to Mexico City, my husband and I were separated. It was suggested by the stewardess for him to move to another seat 20 rows away due to his size. Instead of separating two people, why not ask the single person if she would rather have more room. But the steward said only one of us could move, me or my husband. The reason he was moved was that there were two empty seats, so he could sit comfortably; however, no one told the woman sitting in the three seat aisle that he would be sitting there. So she basically took over her seat and the neighbouring one. The crew should have been the one to inform her the reason for his move there. It was a horrible and unnecessary experience. Because of my husband's size, I am needed to help him with his tray and I had his medication."
