I just think that Canada has slipped so far down if I could choose a non Canadian airline to travel on I would prefer that.

Pros: "It is a no frills airline. Cabin crew were friendly."
Cons: "No entertainment, no food"
Cons: "More than an hour late departing. Added to that it was almost an hour before luggage appeared. Not West Jet’s fault but it made us even later resulting in some of our long drive of our drive to Grand Canyon being in the dark."
Cons: "The food could have been better. I don’t mind paying but some nicer, healthier choices would have been nice. It is airplane food so no real surprise. :)"
Pros: "I like that my original flight was rescheduled but I needed to arrive in Vancouver for my connection so I'm happy they moved me to an earlier flight. Very accommodating!-"
Cons: "Entrainment on flight"
Pros: "Crew were fairly attentive, have experienced better. Liked the Canadian entertainment options, even if very limited."
Cons: "Seats were okay, the plane is really showing it's age. Movie selection was very limited, and very dated."
Pros: "The check-in process was very easy and friendly. The flight attendants seemed nicer than other airlines."
Cons: "Minor point. They boarded the plane very early. We got to the gate 1/2 hour before departure, and were almost the last ones to board."
Pros: "Dry accommodating staff all around. Thank you"
Cons: "More space between people. Not much you can do I understand that. So overall great"

I had checked in online the day before but was instructed to collect our boarding passes when we arrived. I am not completely comfortable using the automated Kiosks and always enjoy the nostalgia of speaking with someone when checking in for a flight. Upon doing so however, we were immediately asked,"did you check in online already?" To which I replied, "yes, but we were asked to retrieve our boarding passes upon arrival." She then said, "that's what those machines over there are for. We really encourage people to use those." That unfortunately sparked a series of shortness and overall poor behavior in my opinion from the woman who checked us in. I understand it was early in the morning but I am always excited to experience flying and that interaction has unfortunately left a bitter taste in my mouth to the point I will forever now hesitate to book with Porter again. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Cheers, JD

Everything was fantastic, by far the best airline experience in Canada 🇨🇦!

Unlike our porter connection this was great , smooth 2minutes at check in not 90 mins Food wasn’t great but it’s plane food , staff were great

Nothing to like about porter. Flight cancelled. No flight back to Boston for 2 days. No hotel accommodation. Terrible. Never again by porter.

travelling in 14th of April and now we are in 17th , I have not received my lost/delayed bag... this is very bad and the worst part is their call center is not able to see where is it!!!!

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "There is a Covid-19 outbreak and this airline refused to change my flight. They are a disgrace."
Pros: "Efficient check in. Liked the shuttle bus service from subway to airport."
Cons: "As expected this is a commuter flight so very stripped down in terms of amenities. Tight plane seating and those overhead bins just barely accommodate the carry on."
Cons: "The crew could have checked us in...we were 5 minutes late for checkin and had to book and pay for another flight."
Pros: "The crew was good and boarding was super efficient"
Cons: "No entertain on the plane. Since when YTZ offered no more complimentary drinks and some snack?"
Pros: "Bunch of crooks gave me the wrong time. Missed my flight"
Cons: "Getting correct to information"

there was an hour delay in our departure but everything else was ok.

Good boarding and flight (on time!). Loved the entertainment. Had a very pleasant flight attendant and a second one that was a grump.

I especially appreciated the on-time performance. I had a play scheduled for the evening of my flight and I would have missed it if there had been any delay.

Aisles are way to narrow. Seat cushions have lost all padding. Overhead storage was good. Seat numbers would be nice at the console area near the air flow for the plane we were on Could we not load the plane back to front.

First plane from Edmonton was late causing me to miss connection to Kamloops. Had to rebook for Kamloops leaving Dec 25 @1:30pm….17 hrs in Vancouver …not happy

Flight was late. Short flight. Pleasant enough except for being late for unknown reasons, no explanation.

The flight & attendants were fine. Very slow in getting wheelchair, so did without. This was a separate service. There were only 2 agents available to push wheelchairs. Security check needs improvement. 3 lines provided for priority service & only one line for all other passengers. Waited 45 minutes to get thru line. TSA staff finally opened another line once there were no more priority passengers.

Crew were friendly and helpful. It would have been better if any of the flights were remotely close to being in time.

The customs line in Vancouver was outrageous and the way it was handled and lack of information to customers was frustrating.

Air Canada isn't the most helpfully airlines when it comes to customer service. Maybe to a few other certain types of people, but not to anyone I saw nor I. They seem to not care at all if what they are doing is affecting anyone else. Honestly after flying nearly 6 times a month for a few years, this entire Air Canada experience has been one of the worst encounters I've ever had. Not to mention they lost my bag and basically gave me a shrug in I don't Know why I should care attitude.

Flight delayed by 4 hours but no communication. With passengers until after the posted departure time became apparent the flight was not going to board even close to on time.

Flight was sent canceled. The absolute most useless staff I have ever witnessed. Utterly careless - literally could not care less. 100% never using this airline again.

Poor communication at the check in counter and boarding gates.

Other then the screaming baby the flight was fine, nothing special

Check in experience was smooth, and the flight attendants were courteous and friendly. Very positive experience overall, thank you all!

Flight arrived late but other than that everything else okay

Great price for a new plane. Only offered water which we knew.

Can't be happy with a 5 hour delay. Only given $10 voucher for food and still EVERYTHING was an upcharge during the flight.

TThe first time I have ever flown with flare and both ways sucked

There was no entertainment There was no food or beverage service , not even a glass of water The plane door could not be opened upon arrival

I try to buy water the cabin crews told me I had to wait for them to come around with the trolley I waited over 2 hours !!!!! Literally 2 hours I was so thirsty .

Lots of leg room in the front rows. Wish water was free.

I don't like anything. The crew was so bad. Misbehaved badly. The worst flight.

Long wait for baggage check in with only one on site attendant.

The worst airlines I have seen in my life they don’t respect anyone they don’t care about anyone they lost our luggage and no one is responding. We waited for five hours to get our luggage back.🤬🤬🤬👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Great staff. Cramped seating for someone 5 feet, 2 inches and average weight. So if you're tall or heavy -- good luck. Even if you wait until the 24 hour checkin time, you still charge for seating. Really? So either it is a less-than-pleasant experience or pay the price of a "big name" airline. And if I'm going to pay their prices, why would I fly in your cramped seat? So, in the end, you want to give less comfort for the same prices as Air Canada. Go figure.

The airplane smokes and they think it's normal.... this is sign of deterioration
