Compared to other used airlines over more than 30 years, it was an excellent experience.
I could not able to travel because of the restrictions from srilanka to india, no notification was given to me about that. Then i changed my ticket to get there.

I usually have difficulty sleeping but the isolation from aisle traffic and ambient noise reduction was enough to allow some very good sleep. Cons: "I am a very experienced traveller. I always book an isle seat, especially for long flights (this was 12 hrs.), so that I can get up and stretch my legs etc. The couple sitting beside me were upset that I did not take the window seat. When it came time to sleep, the wife stretched out over her husbands legs, who was sitting beside me. This meant her feet were coming on top of my legs, and her legs were forcing her husbands legs into my space, touching my leg - I had to put a pillow between my leg and his leg. I asked the Qatar hostess if she could please ask the couple to change their positions, so that my seating space was respected, resulting in no body touching. The hostess replied that she was not permitted to ask the couple to change their positions and be more respectful. Fortunately there was another unreserved isle seat and I was able to move. Due to the fact that airplanes have become cultural melting pots, thousands of feet in the air, I think it would be peacefully beneficial too all, if a very discreet announcement could be made at the beginning of each flight regrading seating etiquette, respectfulness towards others etc. this could also be printed in the flight magazine. Thanks in advance."

Pros: "Easy boarding process with premium economy (or Economy Privilege, for Brussels Air). Flight wasn't so full so was easy to move to an empty row for more space and ease of sleeping on this overnight flight."
Cons: "(1) Unfortunately couldn't do web check-in because I had bought the ticket through Air India; and strangely the e-ticket receipt only mentioned one time that it was co-chaired with Brussels Air, which caused confusion at the departure terminal. (2) Food quality was poor, with a soft soggy sandwich as the first snack/meal on this overnight flight; then a breakfast with soggy egg and tough chicken. As I wasn't feeling well, I asked a flight attendant for an extra bread roll, and she grabbed one from a tray just collected from another passenger and tried to offer it to me!! Then she stopped short, seeing the packaging was open and went to get another. Needless to say, that was pretty appalling -- and also very surprising given this was a Brussels Airlines plane and staff. (3) Given above, I had a surprisingly poor experience on this flight. I have flown on Brussels Airlines before so was really surprised by the unexpectedly less-than-average quality of service and food."

Limited beverage options. Crew was not very responding. Many TV screens didn’t work and even after being told thrice about it, crew didn’t fix it and neither told why. Trash bags were lying open in flight’s food pantry. Never seen that with any other airline. Worst part, the seat comfort and quality of everything in the flightwas below average. Food table, seat covers, etc. None of it is a big deal individually but when all things are combined, the experience of flying air india is not great."

Cons: "I had the worst possible experience flying Air India back from Delhi to NY. I was at the Delhi airport, cleared all the different levels of security and was provided with my boarding pass. After which I went to the gate looking for a seat during which time it was announced that the flight has been delayed by a few hours. I arrived at the gate and there was no more seats left, so I decided to go sit right outside the gate as I did not want to stand for 3 hours especially since I was unwell and was taking antibiotics for my severe cold and sore throat. I sat down on a reclining chair right outside the gate during which time Air India apparently preponed the flight and apparently announced my name on the loud speaker. I say apparently because I do not know if I possibly dosed off fora few minutes or this actually happened. The reason I say this is because after I missed my flight and went to the counter, the representative and even the manager repeatedly told me that the flight was never delayed. When, with a strong voice, I told them that how can they lie about that they apologized and said yes the flight has been delayed. The fact that hey can lie to my face makes me believe that they did not even announce my name. Furthermore, after they announced my name they even had time to unload my baggage from the flight. If they had time to do all of that, they they should have continuously announced my name. I was right outside the gate, I would have heard it! After all this, they refused to put me on the next flight. They said the next one available was in 4 days and would cost me $1,100! I had to run around at 3am in the airport trying to figure out how to get back home while I was sick! They refused to help me in any way. DO NOT FLY AIR INDIA, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!! How can you leave a passenger who has a stamped boarding pass and is sitting right outside the allotted gate! Did they expect me to stand outside the gate for 3 hours at 1am if their were no seats available there!"
