I don't recommend anyone air india
No entertainment center on this flight. Overall I had least expectations on this leg, but it surpassed my expectations and felt happy.
The entertainment system was broken and the crew couldn't fix it after restarting it. The USB based charging was not working for anyone on the flight I think.

There was nothing that was a Wow factor. The plane was late by 3 hrs. Initially it was delayed by one hr which was moved to 2 hours. We boarded the plane with an expectation of 2 hours delay and then had to be in the plane for one more hour before it took off. I have travelled in Air India ( only because of patriotism!!!!) many times even though every time I travelled there was a problem. I travelled most recently in November 2021 and May 2022. Both times the plane was delayed. In November my return trip was delayed by 14 hours. The staff was totally unorganized and extremely rude. Same trip the connecting plane from Delhi to Jammu was cancelled. The planes are breaking apart and are dirty...... I still travel in Air India with hope and very high expectation from Tatas.......
Air India has absolutely zero sense of customer service.
Most of the screens and remove doesn’t work. Food was served just twice and no coffee/tea in between for such long journeys. Staff were nice, food was ok for vegetarians.
Flight was smooth, entertainment systems are broken, seats are wiggly, not clean enough, some staff are very rude, food is mediocre

Cons: "The flight had mechanical issues. They made us sit until 10 pm but still no flight. Then they asked us to go home and come back next day! When we tried to check/in, they said there are no more seats. Then they finally put us on another airline which departed in the night! This is a nightmare. You should not entertain Air-India on your website. I was totally exhausted and taken for a ride by poor airline management."

Pros: "1.The crew was average. the seat comfort is different in different rows as far as legroom is concerned. 2. The crew member was not aware of the procedure involved in passengers involved transfers to various destinations after landing at New Delhi. They misguided some passengers(including me) directing them to exit through emmigration procedure, collect the baggage and report at domestic transfer desk. we had been issued Transfer Boarding Pass at Chicago itself for our connection flight to Bengaluru.There was no need to go through the emmigration at New Delhi and collect the baggage. The baggage collection procedure was a hell of a business. This can be verified from the various registers maintained at domestic transfer desk. it took almost 3 hours for getting the luggage going through the customs etc, 4. At the arrival lounge there was no AIR INDIA HELP DESK or representative to guide the passengers. Similarly, the sign board only displayed transfers/baggage claims arrows. and the suddenly one finds a sign board displaying domestic transfers. At this point confusion arises as the passengers disembarked from international flights are required to go to international transfers where there is no requirements for emmigration and baggage collection as the emmigration procedures take place at final destination if it has the facilities. 3, The numbers of passengers affected may be verified from the various registers at the airport. On three registers kept at various entry points, we had to make entries as regards passport No. baggage tag No. Fligh No. etc, etc."
Cons: "WE received an email from AIR INDIA that our connecting Flight AI 174 from New Delhi to Bengaluru has been cancelled due to operational reasons. The new connecting flight is AI 1174 from New Delhi to Bengaluru. 2. While checking in at Chicago we were issued Transfer boarding passes for second leg of journey from New Delhi to Bengaluru. It displayed Flight No. AI 174, instead of AI 1174. When this was brought to the notice of the official at the counter at Chicago airport he told in their computer there is no change. The baggage tags also displayed AI 174. 3. After alighting at New Delhi and going through all the hell when we checked in at domestic transfer desk, the official observed that out Transfer Boarding passes for Delhi-Bengaluru sector is for AI 174 and the luggage ( four bags) also contained the same flight number AI 174. 4, we were told we will now be issued new boarding passes for AI 1774 as domestic passengers. SIMILARLY, new baggage tags were placed on luggage. There we were also told that AI 174 a San Francisco to Bengaluru Flight via New Delhi is not cancelled and it is only delayed, Had we not been misguided at Delhi, we could have simply boarded AI 174 at Delhi and the luggage also could have reached Bengaluru in the same flight without we going through the procedure of baggage retrieval process at Delhi as it was along with other passengers luggage already kept AT DELHI AIRPORT departure terminal for uploading in AI 174. It is our humble suggestion that even by mistake if passengers go through emmigration procedures at one airport instead of the next port of destination, system should be in place to take care of the same by MARKING the person to again go through the emmigration procedure at the final destination.."

They did not provide blankets or cushion even the flight was almost 15 hours long.. when my dad asked the crew for blankets, they said we only got 25% and we do not have it. The food was horrible.. they even complained at the airport but no one cared.. over all very bad/worse experience they had.. so disappointed.."

Additionally the Bhubaneswar to Delhi flight was suddenly rerouted to Varanasi and then to delhi which arrived Delhi very late and everyone had to run to catch the next flight. No announcements were made until everyone had boarded the flight from BBI."

Cons: "Non functioning video screens and audio jacks, they were out of food (poorly managed count of veg/non-vegetarian passengers) requested us by adjusting to eat only curry without rice or roti. This happed both for dinner and breakfast. Flight Attendants served only one drink per person and were rude when asked for one additional drink. The connecting flight was 2 hr delayed in delhi, whereas i booked shortest duration flight to Hyderabad paying $150/ ticket due to family emergency but not worth as i was 3 hours delayed overall."

Cons: "It was Boghi in Chennai on the day of my travel unfortunately and smog filled the air reducing visibility for all. The flight was originally scheduled for 9:30 AM and was, understandably, severely delayed even by the time I arrived at the airport. It would be ignorant of me to fault the airlines for abiding by safety regulations enforced by ATC. The execution of the plane transfer could have been far better. I strongly suggest that a procedure is written to reduce stress for all parties involved in such situations. It seemed quite unprofessional as there were passengers waiting, confused about what to do next as we weren't given clear instructions on how to transfer terminals, go through security checks, and acquire the appropriate boarding passes. While the air india employees were agile in their actions, they were visibly uncertain, which did not inspire confidence in us passengers. Once I had boarded the alternate flight, I was appreciative, but I strongly suggest that for everyone's sake a precedent is set."

Cons: "Crew was not helpful. They woke me up out of a deep sleep to give me a mayo and cheese sandwich but did not wake me (or even leave on my tray table) an immigration form. They then ignored several call bells when I was trying to get one. I was left scrambling when we landed. Movie selection was also slim and outdated and made for a rough 15 hours. Seats uncomfortable. Bathrooms were not well maintained throughout flight."
