Cons: "The airline changed a seat reservation after I paid for it. The Swiss support staff told me on the phone they would call me back. They never called back. I called again and was told the seats are changed and I can’t do anything anymore. The return flight seats also disappeared from the reservation. I had also paid for it. The support staff when I called again put back the seats for my return flight. I tried to check in online. Not working. Tried at least 50 times. Not working. Called the support staff. They told me to call the check in support center. I called the check in support center at least 50 times where mi was told the staff are busy and could not answer the call. I called at 6:00am next day where I was told by the check in support staff that my ticket had an issue which they did not know exactly what was the issue but prevented me to do a check in. I drove more than 2 hours to the airport where finally I could check in but I was told that my return flight seats had disappeared again. They managed to put them back again. I hope this time it’s finally ok. The support staff on the phone told me I could get reimbursed for the seat reservation I had paid for for the on going flight. The Swiss staff at the airport told me there would be no refund. Swiss is terrible"

Cons: "On the flight to Zurich the passenger behind me gave me a difficult time about reclining my seat back but keep in mind he had his reclined. Coming back to Newark the gentleman behind my boyfriend made a comment how he didn't have room due to his seat being reclined. The passenger next to us was arguing with the passenger in front of her because she didn't want that person to recline their seat back. I have never experienced such rude people on a flight and I realize this is beyond your control. It made for a very uncomfortable and stressful flight. Maybe signs can be posted or a message when booking your flight that ALL passengers have a right to recline seats and if space is an issue for your comfort then upgrade to business class for more room."

I am only 5'7", 150lbs, but for the first time ever could not reach my belongings in the under-the-seat space in front of me. Seriously, it was that cramped."

One of the most amazing crews I have ever experienced....and food was surprisingly delicious...even ice cream. they visited frequently with water and tea. We're friendly accommodating and fun everything that you want in a crew."

I was subjected to unnecessary hassle as Air Canada did not issue me boarding pass for the section of Motreal to Zurich at Los Angeles airport. Had I known that I have to come out of the airport, I would not have bought this ticket. Hopefully same ordeal is not repeated while returning from Zurich to Los Angeles via Montreal on June 30, 2016. There was a long queque at Montreal to board the place as it was not organized in zone wise."

Pros: "the magazine selection prior to flight, bottle of water in front of each seat and crew were great, the pilot's landing was amazing! The seat in front of me had weird legs that made the room under the seat smaller than other seats around me. So you couldn't fit in the carryon fully under it as you could under the seat diagonally from me, however, this ended up being a huge plus since I could use the legs of this chair in front of me as stepping places to place my feet during flight. Since airline does not provide foot rest, it was great to have this to elevate the feet for a long flight. More considerations should be give to provide footrest or at least these kind of foot elevations."
Cons: "The dinner and breakfast were a bit disappointing, but not bad and not a deal breaker at all since the rest of the flight was wonderful. I noted comfort as ok, but that's applies to all airlines - the seats in economy and no footrest is very uncomfortable, but that's on all economy flights, so no deduction of points there. I do want to note that I needed a boarding pass at the gate and stood in line for quite a while (I was first in line) before I was even acknowledged by a lady who ended up helping me eventually. But she was so cranky! (there were 2 ladies - one busy helping the crew and putting around barrier - she was fine, the other with a head covering (putting this hear just to distinguish the ladies as one was doing a great job)- not sure what she was doing, but she plainly ignored me standing at the desk in front of her, I didn't say anything, just patiently waited until she acknowledged me, and then she printed the boarding pass for me, but she was way to cranky to be in the job that she is in - no need for that kind of attitude."

Cons: "The fact that my mother suffered a major medical episode which lead to her being hospitalized for six days in Germany has left me very bitter regarding our flight. I have flown Lufthansa before in the past and AWAYS had a wonderful experience. However, I have NOTHING good to say regarding Lufthansa/KAYAK/Vaymara regarding your missed flight/re-booking policy, nor working with anyone who speaks anything other than broken English at best. If it had been possible my mother and I would have completed the flight from Frankfurt to Houston on 5/15/16; however, my mother's medical condition precluded that from happening. I submitted hospital admission paperwork which I was told that the airline was requesting that I needed to get the forms in English. REALLY???? We were in Germany; the hospital admission and discharge paperwork are in German. Lufthansa is a German - based airline. Nobody speaks or can read German? The hospital did not offer an option of English paperwork and I could pay for translating the paperwork for a price and it would take a couple of weeks.. I had to re-book through another carrier after receiving clearance and a certificate that my mother was medically cleared to fly. The price was ridiculously high but I had no other option since your representative told me it would take 4-6 weeks to reach a decision. Thank you so VERY much for inquiring in to my satisfaction on flight from Frankfurt to Houston Intercontinental on Lufthansa. As you can tell....it was quite the experience."

Cons: "Flight attendants barely spoke English and didn't offer us a beverage for the flight. It was a small plane that was very loud and a small backpack barely fit under the plane. All in all, it took us 30 hours in airports and on airplanes to get to Riga, for one appointment."

Cons: "The scheduling of the in flight events made no sense. The cabin was dimmed for take off (logical, given that it was a red-eye). However, once we were at altitude, the lights were put back on to serve dinner. Several people were woken up by this and it took like 1.5 hrs because its a big plane. Also, it was like 9-10pm local time by this point so dinner made no sense! Then the lights were dimmed and people tried to sleep. The lights were turned on 1.5 hrs prior to landing to serve a light breakfast. So, 6.5 hr red-eye turned into about 3.5 hrs of actual sleeping time. I would've preferred to be left alone and given a bigger breakfast."

Who ever heard of a transatlantic flight that didn't have a movie? Make sure you download the app so you can at least watch the movies on your tiny screen."

There was time to get through security and reach the gate by boarding time. All i needed was the boarding pass and they would not give it. I missed the flight i had paid for and of course you won't give me a refund It caused serious problems with my trip. I'm totally disgusted and will never buy another ticket on this ariline."

And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

No seatback entertainment! On Airbus with very limited overhead hand baggage capacity. Roundtrip cost of this 4 hour flight CDN$800 per person booked 3 months in advance, not much less than transatlantic flight of almost twice the time from Toronto to London on Air Canada Boeing 787 with loads of overhead luggage capacity, free first checked bag, 8 inch screen seat back entertainment system, charging ports, one major meal with wine / beer, unlimited pop, plus snack. A real shocker to get Ryanair amenities on this British Airways flight which was no bargain."

Cons: "Landed almost an hour late. Food was HORRIBLE. worst pasta of my life. The crew while kind, we busy chatting in the galley most of the flight. Never came around (besides the initial drink cart and the meal) to offer water or check on passengers. They forced me to close the window while we were flying and I bought a window seat so i could look out. The boarding process was very slow and disembarking took ages. Problems with loading the baggage led to an issue at baggage claim where they were stuck."

Cons: "Booked this flight every last minute and didn't order a Vegan option at the time. Was flying business over lunch time so a meal was served. However there was no vegetarian option on the menu. I expected there to be a vegetarian option at least, and I would work around my dietary choice, but with no vegetarian option, this was impossible to do. In the end the crew managed to rustle up something from the Crew meal and I was able to then have snippets of meal segments that suited my requirements. How could this be prevented in the future? Make available a vegetarian choice on all meal served flights. A Meat eater can eat vegetarian at a push but not the other way around. I know if might be too much to ask to make that a Vegan option as standard, because then every one can eat it, but just putting that out there."

Cons: "My husband and I paid a combined $100 to reserve seats on our flight from LAX to London. When we got to check-in at LAX airport we did not get our reserved seats. Everything had been changed around. We did not even have seats next to each other. Upon complaining at arrival in London (there was no time at LAX to deal with this, as usual that airport was one chaotic mess) we were given a British Airways business card with a phone number that did not work/had been disconnected. I would like to get the $100 reservation fee back. Thank you."

Of course, given how the process in dealing with Kayak and this booking, it did not surprise me. Any calls or customer service related questions were handled as though we were 2nd class citizens. I've never been treated like this traveling, but always the attitude came from "oh, you booked this through a discount site" and then I was handled accordingly. I booked it through Kayak for ease as I planned a 7-city, 21 day trip around the Adriatic. Now we'll do our honeymoon without a wardrobe change, filing claims for the contents of our bags, as no one can tell us what happened, or where the bags are, and we're about to depart for our next city. Never, NEVER book a trip from a 3rd party. The seats next to the toilets that don't recline, attitude from airlines, now my first lost bag in 10 years (I fly 3 times a month, too)."
