Cons: "noisy plane. seems like Delta does not maintain their planes very well. flight was delayed, which made it stressful to catch connecting flight at LGA. when we were all on the plane, the pilot states that he apologizes for the wait, since we were waiting a while for take off. he said there was something wrong with the fuel system that had to get fixed but it is ok now. wow, that wasn't the right thing to say. as soon as he said that, the passengers started talking among themselves saying,,,,,,,,,,,,well, i hope it is ok now, because if it is not, we may not get to our destination! he should have rephrased that and simply said that;;;;; sorry for the delay, we were simply going through some maintenance on the plane to make sure everything is all-right, which it is, and we look forward to getting you to your destination in a few minutes! keep it simple without getting into all the details! geeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssccccccccccchhhhhhhhh!!!!! :("

I choose flights based on their amenities and this one had offered full WIFI service which swayed me to choose to fly with Delta. I'm not sure who is to blame about this issue but I'm pretty frustrated that it was completely dysfunctional."

The flight attendant Barry then came and told me if there was anything he could do for me during the flight just to let him know. After the flight was over Barry asked me to wait till everyone deplaned so He could make sure my wheelchair was there and then carried my bag to them. Porter airlines is top notch. I will use them again next time I go to visit my daughter."

While checkin staff were polite, gate staff were not overly helpful and no food vouchers were offered for rebooked passengers. On my return from YTZ to EWR, I received 6 delays to my flight but staff in the airport provided no information regarding the cause of the delay and did not provide updates on the flight in a timely manner. By the time my flight was delayed a 5th time, I was stuck in the terminal. Free drinks and snacks were available, but I had to pay for a sandwich during my 3 hour wait. I have received only a C$100 travel voucher. Needless to say I won't be using it."

Also, the flight attendants seem to be militant about everything during take off and landing (this is not a good thing). If a customer wants to land with headphones in, i do not see a problem. this seems to be a change from every other porter flight ive been on."

Pros: "The crew remained quite calm and polite in a stressful situation, and they gave us free food and drinks for the inconvenience."
Cons: "There was an issue with plane's landing gear so we were delayed by over 2 hours (where we just sat in the plane on the tarmac) and we had to fly with the landing gear down the whole time. This meant we had to fly at 12,000 feet the whole time so it took longer, no luggage was brought on the plane, and passengers had to be moved around to redistribute weight, but we were never really told why or what was going on in terms of how it all worked which was quite scary. I'd say close to half the passengers actually got off the plane because they didn't feel safe flying. We got in over 4 hours later than anticipated with 0 luggage. Overall the flight was very scary and now we have no luggage. Had the option of having out luggage delivered the next day or a $100 travel credit. No credit or any compensation if the luggage was delivered."

Queue had formed for general boarding, she wanted to board that line first...for whatever reason. Onboard flight attendants were rude, I stood in the galley for 30 seconds to wait for my wife to change our baby in the washroom and was asked to move back to the cabin. Flight attendants were just eating their food back there, not working at the time."

I had gone through many hoops to make the carry on happen ( all cosmetics in little containers, restricted space overall) and then, just because I was in Zone three and all the spaces were taken, I had to hand in my suitcase. Suggestion: could the above space be reserved for the passengers who sit right underneath?"

Cons: "My flight to Calgary never happened. In fact due to weather conditions, many, many flights were delayed, some cancelled. No more flights to Penticton, so I had to take a flight to Kelowna after 6:00pm or fly the next day. I met a couple to share a ride to Penticton once I reached Kelowna. My luggage was lost in Calgary and so I went on to Penticton, to Osoyoos. The next day, West Jet delivered my suitcase to me. I appreciate the voucher I was given to buy a few things and the promptness of my luggage. We live in Canada, the weather in the winter can be quite an annoyance and so it was last week."

The man st the AC office had no idea why the bags were not coming and could not get someone to tell him and emotionally dithered and then fell apart. I will avoid travelling on AC again if I can. Worst flight ever. They did not have enough food on board either. At least the pilots were competent."

They were sitting down. I’m not sure why this flight felt like it did but yeah, not a good experience. 36 minutes felt like hours and I felt like kissing the ground when I got off the plane."

Pros: "The flight was less than an hour, and I got to get a clear view of Seattle's city center and the Sound. In the hundreds of times I've flown, I haven't had a smoother moment of touchdown on the tarmac."
Cons: "Just like the SEA-YVR flight, they changed to a smaller plane and had to change our seats as a result. This time, we were seated in the first row, which meant a few things. One, there's no under-the-seat storage, which was a concern as I had fragile items in my carry-on. Because we had our seats changed, we were in the last boarding zone, which meant most of the overhead bins were full by the time we got on (don't get me started on people who put jackets and small items up there). The only open bin was about halfway through the hull, which then meant we couldn't get off the plan until everyone else had left. And the bins were so tiny that even my small, collapsable, carry-on barely fit, and some of my stuff got bent up from having to squeeze to get the compartment locked. Finally, being in the first row put us right next to the emergency exit, which looked like it had seen a lot of action. The door didn't look entirely sealed off, and the edges were noticeably worn. And while we had our vents completely closed, this was one of the coldest flights we've been on. That could have been the whole cabin, but I suspect some of it was from that shoddy emergency door."

Cons: "The airport personnel for Air Canada were very rude when we finally got to our gate and they had just closed the door. We got hung up in customs, who told us we had plenty of time. We ran to customs and ran to our gate. When I asked what we could do the girl said, "I don't know." When I asked again she got angry, third request she finally told me where a customer service person located. We were not the only couple in this predicament. They were more worried about being on time than serving customers. They would have been 5 minutes late taking off at best. The actual flight was fine and crew were very professional but the 3 Air Canada girls in the terminal left a bad impression."

Cons: "Experienced a 2.5 hour delay in getting from Sydney to Halifax on Air Canada (one way ticket). I missed my flight from Halifax to Philadelphia on American. American had no others flights to any where that Fri although it was just 1:30 in the afternoon. American employees closed up and left for the day. I went to Air Canada for help. I was told it was American's responsibility to arrange an alternate plan. I questioned why it would not be Air Canada's role to assist as it was Air Canada's fault that I missed my connection. In response, I was told that my contract with Air Canada, which I had entered into by purchasing a ticket, only obligated the airline to get me from point A to Point B. The day and time of my arrival was not part of the contract. I got from point A to B. Air Canada was done with me. I was told that had I booked the flight through a travel agency they would help me. Given the internet, it would never occur to me to book through a travel agency. I was then told if I had booked my entire ticket through Air Canada, they would have helped. I had to explain that I was unable to do so because my final destination was at an Ohio airport and Air Canada didn't go there. As the afternoon went on and American was basically closed and Air Canada's customer service phone line had a 30 minute wait, I decided to try one more thing. Air Canada had flights leaving Halifax to Boston. If I could get to Boston it would be likely that American could get me the rest of the way. I requested a seat for Boston. I was told that I would have to buy a seat. I chose not to give Air Canada any more of my money. I ended up having to purchase a ticket from United. It cost me an additional $420 to get home. At no time was I treated kindly or respectfully. I am a polite problem solving kind of person when things like this happen. I was not rude etc"
