Pros: "The plane we were on between Zurich and Copenhagen was comfortable and modern for such a short trip. This was a stark contrast to the old SAS airplane we flew in the opposite direction as a Swiss flight. The staff on the plane were friendly and helpful."

We tried to hold this flight (the return flight that we had paid for in our round trip ticket) but when we arrived at the airport we were informed that they had sold our seats. We had to pay $250 USD to fly standby (and "reissue" the tickets that we had already paid for) on a flight that was oversold by at least 6, and we heard other passengers also being told their tickets were sold. Their customer service for the ticket change and the phone calls made before hand where they promised to hold our tickets, were so disappointing, it was like dealing with any US based airline. We won't be flying with them again."

Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. When we finally got to the front of the line the woman said we had to pay for our checked baggage elsewhere and then come back for the boarding passes. Unheard of elsewhere. The people in the office where you pay for checked baggage took their time and chatted and had no sense of urgency. The first woman we spoke to apparently filled out the form incorrectly. We had to rush to get to the plane and we barely made it through long security lines. We almost missed the plane due to the lack of early information and check in, the cumbersome payment process, etc. It was the worst check in process ever."
Cons: "Airbus 330 seats are too narrow and the arm rests too high. I am about 5'3" and weigh about 150. I can't imagine what a taller and/or heavier passenger must feel like in these seats. Also I dislike the "nickel and diming" philosophy used by most airlines these days making people pay an extra $29 to reserve a specific seat. Give me a price from the beginning with a seat assignment."
Pros: "By far the worst experience I've ever had in my life. 1. A day after I perches a multi destination tickets I called Swiss air costumer service requesting to upgrade my tickets to business class. no one would even try to help me. They just kept saying I need to contact my travel agent. After 3 phone calls I gave up and decided to wait and upgrade my ticket at the airport. 2. In Prague the night before my second flight I hurt my knee real bad to a point that I couldn't walk at all. The next morning I call Swiss air costumer service again trying to explain them my situation telling them I can't fly and won't be able to make it to my flight. Costumer service cancelled immediately all of my remaining tickets and try to sell me new tickets for a full price. I said I don't mind buy and pay for the one flight I missed but there is no reason for her to re sell me the rest of my tickets that I already paid for, again. Then she start to change prices up and down like in a Chinese flea market. At that point I begged her to talk to a supervisor but she Kept ignoring my request and just try to negotiat for a lower charg she kept me on the phone for 5 hours. My hotel phone bill for that one call cost me 150€. I never got to talk to a supervisor but she took down the charge to 517$ Not included a new ticket flying out of Prague. 3. For my last flight going home. I showed up 2.5 hours Earlier. asking to upgrade my sit to business fin desk send me to talk to asupervisor. The supervisor was trying to process my request but didn't seem to know what he was doing at all. One minute he was on his computer then the next minute on the phone with Swiss air headquarter then back on his computer for more then 35 minutes with no resolute. I still had an hour and half before take off when he told me he can print me the ticket but it's to late now since the gate for my flight is close and I already missed my flight. I said that's impossible cause I still have an hour and half to my flight but he insist on the gate been close and there is no way I can get on that flight. Right away I run back to front desk asking them to print my ticket as fast as possible cause I would really like to get on that flight. In front desk they told me not to worry cause I got plenty of time to get on that flight. So I gave up on the business upgrade and told them that at that point I'll be just as happy to sit by the window. Of course they put me on the very end exactly in the middle. After the door was locked I looked around and saw plenty of free sits available including by the window. 4. In Zurich I finally managed to upgrade my last flight coming back to Tampa fl to business and noticed that the only way they could do that was by contacting Swiss air headquarter for approval. When I asked why is that since I fly a lot and never seen anything like that before one of the lady's there told how Swiss air left all of their front desk powerless and all decisions must be made by headquarters."

On the way from NY to Budapest I checked in two luggages prior to arriving to the airport with out any fee. I would like Swiss air to issue a refund. I have my receipt for the excess luggage fee. Cons: "The flight from Nairobi to Zurich starts in Nairobi, flies an hour south to Dar es Salaam, you then sit on the tarmac for an hour, then you fly north for an hour until you get back to the starting point. I would think they would save money if they flew an empty plane down to Dar es Salaam, picked up those passengers and then flew back to Nairobi. No way should an 8.5 hour flight take over 11.5 hours. Plus my screen didn't work for one of the flights, nearly 12 hours without entertainment was BS. No real variety in their meals either. The first leg had a main meal of beef and potatoes as the meat option, same option for the second leg."

Assuming no issues I went to airport to find out it was canceled. I did not receive an explanation. I waited in line for two hours before speaking to a representative. Was made to feel like it was my fault I hadn't worked things out while waiting in line-"didn't you receive an email!?" I was told no other options except to leave the next day. I pulled up many other flights out of Venice that would get me home in time and was told that there simply were no other options. The real explanation was that Swiss didn't want to pay out to get me home in time. I had to pay more money to get back into the city rather than sit in airport for 12 hours."

When I arrived to the gate there were no employees to speak to and it stated boarding time was 8:35 we didn't board until 9! It was just scary and confusing for someone flying alone in another country. When all the other confused flyers asked simple questions the employees at the gate were annoyed and rude."

I even asked in a Toronto and they said no and nobody in Atlanta told me to collect my bags. So bags never made it until the next AM. The West Jet rep was very good and located the bags and they were delivered as promised. You should provide 3 page detailed instructions on how to handle Toronto. I am a seasoned traveler by the way. I’ve never seen anything worse. I could go on and on."

Late arrivals caused extra stress on Connections and We had to run across the airport to catch the connecting flight. Flight getting delayed both ways makes me rethink about LH Flights. Once we reached the plane, the crew should have facilitated an orderly boarding through both doors rather than one. This was also a pretty empty flight and other passengers were utilizing their assigned seat as well as a whole other row and calling it theirs just because they set something on one seat. It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."

After waking at 6 a.m. to catch my flight, I would have preferred plain yogurt with fruit or muesli, or at least a nutritious nutty bar such as the KIND brand. The boarding consisted of everyone standing in a disorganized line next to another long line so that I was not sure if I was in the right place and felt nervous as the time to board drew near. Staff did not seem to be communicating what was happening and were not circulating. I had to ask fellow passengers if I was in the right line and on the right bus. We pushed away from the gate early. This worked against me at the beginning of my vacation when I missed my flight by 5 minutes due to the disorganized nature of the Frankfurt airport and its massive size."

Cons: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Cons: "We checked in exactly 2 hours and 30 minutes before scheduled departure time, as previously instructed when we attempted check-in some three-and-a-half hours before departure. Thus we were, I'm fairly certain, the second couple to check in for the entire flight. I asked the agent if the fare we paid allowed us a checked piece of luggage. She said that, yes, we were entitled to one checked piece per passenger at no charge. That being the case, I asked the agent to issue a refund for the two Checked Baggage fees my wife had paid online. She insisted there was nothing she could do about it and it was totally out of her hands. I explained to her my understanding that such refund must be requested PRIOR TO CHECK-IN, but she reiterated there was nothing she could do, and offered no solution whatsoever. In addition, the agent insisted that we were not allowed to carry-on a cabin bag in addition to a personal item. When I asserted my rights (See Note 1), she had the temerity to say "You should know British Airlines' policy if you buy a ticket." Trying another tack, I asked who DID get to use the overhead lockers, since they were only allowing under-seat sized Personal Items to be brought on-board. She replied that the "no cabin baggage" policy applied "after the first 30 passengers boarded the plane." (Please recall that we were the second couple ON THE ENTIRE PLANE to check-in, and thus should make that artificial "cut-off." (Also, as a Million Mile flyer with your partner, American Airlines, I believe we're entitled to Priority Boarding.) Concerned about the valuable items in the cabin bag she was effectively commandeering, I inquired about the airlines Limits of Liability in case of Loss or Damage. She said she had no idea. I then asked to see a copy of the airline's Conditions of Carriage. But she was either unable or unwilling to provide same. I arrived very, very early to ensure these sorts of problems could be ironed-out before departure, and am frankly appalled by the lack of knowledge, professionalism and judgement the airline exhibited in this instance. Also: On-board service was so incredibly slow, the last two rows were not served until 15 minutes prior to landing. ("There you go, sir. Bottoms up... and be quick about it! ;-) Bill B.
