Swiss Air rerouted me at the last minute and lost my luggage. At this time they still have not been able to locate it.
Cons: "A solution to the seat problem. If the seat only reclined 1/2 the distance they do now, the flight would be enjoyable."
Cons: "The TVs in economy class weren’t working and it was an 8 hour flight so it would have been nice to have some entertainment during that time"
Pros: "fresh baked bread!"
Cons: "fight was delayed almost 4 hours. we were stuck on the plane for over 2 hours before liftoff while technical difficulties were worked out. no compensation offered."
Pros: "Bombardier C Series. Most leg room and comfort of any plane"
Pros: "The expedited transfer from late flight out of Rome was an amazingly efficint process, much appreciated. Was very stressed when I thought I could not make the transfer, but Swissair really had it covered. My compliments"
Pros: "The seats were good for a short flight, which this was. No complaints."
Pros: "Crew was nice"
Cons: "No WiFi on a 12 hour flight, but we could all see the full signal WiFi for the crew, aptly named. LXCrew. Awful to see them using WiFi when we are unable."
Pros: "The boarding process was much easier and faster. No delayed flights."
Cons: "I used the laboratory before takeoff as I was one of the first people on the plane and I forgot to go before I boarded. The hand soap container was empty and I had to tell one of the crew. Shouldn’t that have been taken care of before boarding passengers?"
Cons: "Check in was annoying in Paris as we had to go to ticket counter, and then go to a different counter to pay for luggage. Annoyed in the first place to have to pay for 2 checked bags on international flight, but to have to go into three separate lines in order to do so was pouring salt into a wound."
The gate staff for this flight were rude, unhelpful, insulting. Did I say rude? (The flight crew was fine). Lots of people including me were hoping to make this connecting flight, so when we arrived at the gate , it was unclear how boarding would happen with no signs or announcements. When I asked about my ticket she sneered ‘economy’ , didn’t I see the signs? I just politely repeated I wasn’t sure when I was supposed to board , we aren’t United! Another rude staff said. They were being the B word for sure. Thank goodness the same people were not on the plane.
Thats not my plane for now from chikago im hoping going to sy
Didn't have my boarding pass until Montreal, really stressful and neither Luftansa or Air Canada were rlly helpful.
The flight from Houston to Frankfurt was atrocious. Our seats were in Coach; these rows provided no leg room, and if you needed to exit your row, you had to ask the passenger in front of you to straighten their seat, so you had a bit more room to go to the restroom. For our return flight, we decided to upgrade our seats. Lufthansa refused to give us credit for the seats we had already selected and paid for when we initially booked our flight ($60) and charged us $125 each to sit on a row with more leg room. In addition, we missed our Lufthansa connecting flight in Frankfurt because the flight from Houston left late. We walked the Frankfurt airport for hours, looking for someone to assist us. Terrible experience! Needless to say, we will never fly Lufthansa again.
The plane had a landing gear failure. It got rerouted to Pisa. Then lufthansa drove us 3 hours to Verona in the middle of the night with a crazy fast taxi driver. Now we are stuck in Verona for 2 days and they stripped me of my business class flight. What a terrible airline!
Pros: "The crew, leg room with seats! The flight crew was extremely nice!!!!"
Cons: "Everything was pleasant....I wouldn’t change anything."
Pros: "Plane from Munich was late coming to Zagreb, so my flight was late because of that and was about to lose connection flight from Munich to Brussels. Then, Lufthansa drivers waited in Munich, put us in vans and drove us to plane for Brussels. Amazing service!."
Pros: "The fight had a lot of open seats as I had a whole row to myself! Also the crew was kind."
Cons: "Flight was delayed, but it didn’t interfere with my travel plans."
Pros: "Crew was very friendly and attentive. Seats were very tight and uncomfortable, specially for a 6’3 tall person!"
Cons: "Boarding could be a little bit more organized"
Pros: "Comfortable plan. crew, at least in our section of the plan was minimally attentive."
Cons: "crew could have been more attentive. other then the basic services no one made any effort to see if we wanted anything else."
Pros: "Efficient check in. Liked the shuttle bus service from subway to airport."
Cons: "As expected this is a commuter flight so very stripped down in terms of amenities. Tight plane seating and those overhead bins just barely accommodate the carry on."
Pros: "Crew on plane were very good; gate agent was not."
Cons: "Assertive gate agent in Toronto insisted I check my carry-on even though it was within regs and there was lots of overhead space (I was 2nd on the plane) but he insisted saying it would be waiting for me as I debarked (not true-came down carousel with checked bags)"
Pros: "The crew was very professional."
Cons: "For a quick hop from Boston to toronto this was ideal."
Pros: "Convenient! Love flying to Toronto on Porter. Nice glassware for drinks. Unique feel. Will definitely fly again!"
Pros: "The crew was good and boarding was super efficient"
Cons: "No entertain on the plane. Since when YTZ offered no more complimentary drinks and some snack?"
Cons: "Not the airline’s fault but we were delayed. That’s the only thing that could have been better"
Pros: "Bunch of crooks gave me the wrong time. Missed my flight"
Cons: "Getting correct to information"
Cons: "Canceling flights with no notice and rescheduling made me lose a day"
Pros: "Very convenient, non stops and airport is close to downtown"
Cons: "Captain said the 1 hour delay was due to bad weather in Washington DC but there was no bad weather in DC. He should have said the truth. I was in flight 729 from Toronto to Washington Dulles airport on 7/7."
Cons: "I was required to pay for my carryon, which I was never informed during my booking."
Pros: "Amazing crew, fast boarding."
Cons: "Uninspired food. I was served the same meals 30 years ago."
Pros: "All good."
Cons: "Gluten free meal was selected and paid for before the flight, but for some reason the crew didn't have the option available for me once on board. Nevertheless, they tried to be their best. More drink's without extra charge. Follow Lufthansa service and all will be grand."
Pros: "Great food, typically on time and very prompt. entertainment was good. It was an older plane so the actual screens and monitors or outdated."
Cons: "There were several babies crying for at least 2/3 hours and of course it is not the fault of the crew or airline. But that definitely left a lot of people dissatisfied with an overnight flight in which we are hoping to rest before arriving in Copenhagen. Seats are getting smaller and smaller. Spaces are very tight but that seems to be the norm with all airlines"
Cons: "Upon landing in EWR on United, per my reservation on this site my connection was on SAS to Copenhagen. Upon arrival in EWR, I received an email from this site saying my SAS flight "may be canceled". I immediately headed to the terminal where SAS was and went into the lounge to speak to an agent. The women I spoke to could not have been more rude. She told me my flight was canceled and that she did not have access to any details because that was United's responsibility. I told her that could not be the case because my flight was on SAS so if they canceled the flight, I would like to understand what my options are given that I had a tight window upon arrival into my final destination into Dubrovnik so I could not be too late in landing outside of my original reservation. She told me that I had to talk to United and did not even acknowledge why there was a cancellation or anything other than the SAS flight I was on was cancelled. She barely even helped me to understand where my luggage was which I was very concerned would be lost given the issue with the flight cancellation. As a result of all of this, it turns out I was put onto a United flight that now had MORE connections. I had to now go to Frankfurt to Vienna to Dubrovnik, all with really tight connections AND now I no longer was on the same flight as my friend who I was traveling with. SAS did not help with any of this or care to assist in ANY way. They told me it was out of their hands and I had to talk to United. AWFUL service when SAS had cancelled the flight! I had no choice but to take the re-routed flights. I ended up running to my gates and barely catching all of my connections which made for a very stressful travel experience to start my long awaited vacation. After paying the high cost I did for my flight, I am extremely frustrated with my experience as I ended up having more connections, tight connections, awful customer service and a really stressful trip. This is NOT would I would expect for how much I paid and out of the quality of an airline. I would like to receive some type of compensation for the extreme inconvenience of landing 3+ hours after my original arrival time, being broken up with my friend who I was traveling with, not being given any options for my travel, terrible customer service assistance, and no acknowledgement from SAS to help me in any way."
Pros: "On time and clean airline."
Cons: "Not helpful with stroller. Wanted us to sign off that they were not responsible for if stroller broke while handling it. Insane. They said it “might “ to big even though they didn’t know what measurements would be too big. We’ve flown for the last 3 years with this stroller but different airlines and never heard of such thing. (Since it’s the smallest city mini double stroller there is and folds flat- super small!) first time we flew SAS all. We didn’t sign anything and gate checked it and all was fine but some incompetent crew at check in. Not very helpful finding seats with all four of us. Put us in different rows. Could work on their customer service for sure."
Pros: "The 7 hr trip to Copenhagen was rough. The seats are too close together. My knees hit the seat in front of me even without reclining. When the seat in front of me reclined the tv screen was 6” away from my face. It was next to impossible to get out of the seat."
Cons: "Legroom."
Pros: "Left on time. 50 minutes early in Copenhagen. Food was not bad."
Cons: "TSA at EWR was ridiculous. Slow lines and very inefficient."
Cons: "We arrived late in Copenhagen and I had 20 minutes to catch my connecting flight. Even though I was checked-in for the Copenhagen to Athens flight it left without me. I was then transferred through Prague to get to Athens and again missed my connecting flight through there. Now I am stuck in Prague looking for a flight to Athens and most likely will miss my next flight from Athens to Karpathos and will again be stuck in Athens because there are no flights out to Karpathos until 19 of May, 3days from now. I was physically in the Copenhagen airport and could have made that flight, I feel that since I was already checked in they should have waited for me and allowed me to board. Now I will Be missing work!"
Pros: "Boarding was quick and easy. Decent amount of overhead space. The pilot was friendly. USB ports for charging phones at the seat. Free bottle of water at your seat."
Cons: "No overhead fan. When flight got really hot, no way to moderate temperature. No choice of food at all, unless you are in economy plus. I don't remember the last time that a trans-Atlantic flight had at least a meant, or fish, or vegetarian dish. Usually, at least two or three dishes. On SAS, everything has to be ordered ahead of time. Some of the flight attendants were friendly, some not so friendly. No free alcoholic drinks even with dinner. Limited regular drinks - they are only served with food, aside from that you have to purchase even the non-alcoholic drinks. The food just wasn't very good, even compared to other airline food. Compared to other companies, relatively small selection of entertainment. I had considerably more choice on a domestic flight than on a 9 hr. international SAS flight. Storage pockets at the seat are pretty small."
Cons: "The flight from EWR to Oslo was delayed by over 2 hours which meant I would miss my next connection... and I understand that happens sometimes. But, it was after hours on the airline number phone number and the fly.com customer service could not help with finding an alternate connection from Oslo to FRA. It was frustrating to then have to wait at Oslo airport for another 4 hours before the new connecting flight."
Pros: "The seat was really comfortable and I was able to sleep the whole flight with no disturbance"
Cons: "N/A"
Cons: "The best airline what I was flying so far !! Excellent food, drink, comfort seat, free entertainment with great selection."
Cons: "Air France delayed our JFK to CDG flight. That caused us to miss our connection flight afterwards from CDG to MUC. We got a later flight luckily but one of our bags got lost and is still currently lost!!!"
Cons: "I didn’t have time to make it through customs. Missed my flight"
Pros: "The crew were nice."
Cons: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."
Pros: "In cabin crew was attentive and friendly. Food was good and came at good times. Middle bathroom on Airbus 380 was big and comfy."
Cons: "Boarding was not too well organized and I followed Security's direction who put me in wrong line and I wasn't able to board with my priority group. Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."
Cons: "There are always delays. Today it was that internet was down."
Pros: "Service was much better than on the flight from MIA to CDG 3 weeks before - that was very poor. Entertainment was excellent - great selection of movies. Premium Economy was definitely worth the upgrade cost."
Cons: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."
Pros: "The flight attendant was very nice to me. TV was very good. space was enough ."
Cons: "We had to pay for wi fi."
Pros: "I didn't feel cramped in a Window Seat. Two meals were served during the flight. It was nice to get back to being fed something other than skippy snacks on an airline flight."
Cons: "I was ignored over and over again as ice cream, drinks and snacks were offer by the crew. It would have been nice if some would ask me before falling asleep if I wanted to be roused for snacks and desserts. After being on back to back flights of more than 10 hours each it would be considerate for the crew to be aware of my length of travel and to make sure they don't assume my resting my eyes is the same as me being asleep. Even when I was awake it appeared I was being overlooked, ignored and left out of complimentary services I saw other receiving....my bad for not asking to be noticed."
