Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

I was able to eat basic carbohydrates but no protein sources other than the almonds I always travel with. When paying $1000 for a flight I should be able to sit with my husband and eat some food. Also the TV screens are very difficult to use, not responsive to touch."

We were both cramping up halfway through the flight. When the person in front of me reclined his seat, my meal ended up in my lap. On the London-to-Seattle return trip, for some reason, the airline changed our seats so we weren't sitting together, and changed us both to middle seats. The agent at the gate said the plane was full, but managed to get us both aisle seats. I would highly recommend an aisle seat since it's easier to get in and out to stretch the legs."

I was able to get a different exit row seat (but with less leg room) assigned to me by inquiring with the agent at the gate."

I was supposed to get home to Seattle by 5:45pm but I actually made it home at 12 midnight. There was no flight entertainment for a cross country flight! The only option was to stream via my personally device. This would have been fine if there were outlets to charge personal devices at each set! The crew at the ticketing counter was VERY rude. The lady who finally helped me was nice. that was after standing in several lines!"

Pros: "The flught was canceled . I did not receive any iprevius information from by Anerican or KAYAK Are you supposet to check it?"

Cons: "You cannot register your luggage in advance. Bugged system for printing or mobile boarding passes."

Cons: "We lost the conection because pre departure there swas an issue with one of the wings of the plane and took about 30 min. Afterwards after landing the plan had to wait another 15 minutes waiting for the gate. American Airlines atributed the issue to weather conditions in Vancouver, false."

Cons: "Tight squeeze down the aisle and heaven forbid you drop something while seated because you pretty much had to put your head on you neighbors lap to get it."

Cons: "The crew seemed to be under a lot of tension and the audio jack to my in-seat monitor didn't work. After mentioning the faulty system to the crew I had to find a new seat by myself and there was no follow up."

Cons: "Our flight was overbooked and we were moved to a later flight causing a 7 hour layover and arrived at 2am the following morning."

Cons: "1. The music played while boarding and deboarding was not relaxing. It made me anxious and irritable. 2. The food was absolutely poor. Taste, etc 3. Poor selection of movies, etc.. 4. Poor selection of music, especially the classical channel. Won't be flying American again if I can help it."

Cons: "Realized I left my iPhone in pocket of my seat as soon as I exited plane - spoke to gate agent within 1 minute of leaving plane and she Asia she would get the cleaning crew to look while I waited. Waited 20 min only to hear a bunch of lies about how they asked the flight attendant to look but she couldn’t find it - should have just walked back on plane to do it myself. Was told to “go online” and file a lost and found report. This is a small airport - TRI cities TN - absolutely zero customer focus by and American Airline employee - and I asked to sp all with a supervisor and manager with the hope I would get my phone back. Worst service and zero caring attitude I’ve dealt with - and I fly a lot. It will be Delta from here on out. I went on line and filed a complaint and lost and found report - am betting a large amount of money I hear nothing other than an automated reply."

Pros: "Boarding at LAX went smoothly. A321 was clean and as comfortable as Main Cabin can be. Entire crew was excellent throughout the flight. I was pleasantly surprised."

Cons: "Our seats were overbooked , causing us to almost miss our international connection. The staff were somewhat rude, but did try to solicit volunteers to give up seats and eventually the 4 passengers in my party did fly. But it was a very stressful 1hour until the issue was settled!"

Pros: "I took American's first direct flight between Philadelphia and San Antonio. It was a nice plane, good service, and amenities for a cost. Love that the plane had plugs!"

Cons: "Captain intentionally “timed out”. It was 3 1/2 hours delayed finding a replacement crew. And then the plane timed out for maintenance and we needed to switch planes. In all, we “boarded” 3 times before we finally departed."

Pros: "If you are not in first class, they treat you like dirt."
Cons: "I saw the whole plane packed in the back with 6 people in a row, when the middle of the plane has plenty of empty seats. It seems that American Airlines will pack people who don't pay for choice of seats in the back. Distasteful practice."

Pros: "We paid almost $100 each extra for our seats. For that price we should at least have had a little wiggle room. My husband is 6'4" tall and it was a pretty uncomfortable flight for him. It was American booked thru Iberia."
Cons: "The seats were quite cramped. It was a long flight to be so cramped. The flight attendants were very nice and hospitable. It was also nice to get a pillow & blanket. When we flew to China on American I was appalled that they were charging for use of them."

Cons: "Take off was delayed for nearly an hour and the flight re-routed because of weather. We had scheduled plenty of time to make our connecting flight but we weren't updated on how much later we would be. This caused a lot of worry and stress not knowing when we would land or where our connecting gate would be. Fortunately the gates were next to one another and it all worked out. There were supposed to be usb charging connectors under the seat but I felt around for nearly 30 minutes and couldn't find them. Nobody could."

Overall, not a great experience -- very inefficient process with no one at the airline taking responsibility. Won't fly again if I have the choice."

We paid extra foe exit row seats and they allowed someone to sir across from my husband in the flight attendant seat they use during landing and take off. He sat there the entire flight. He was tall with long legs and took away from my husbands leg room which is why we paid extra for the exit row seats. Not sure if he worked for the airline as he was dressed in regular street clothes but annoying all the same."
