Flight departed and arrived late, breakfast meal was missed due as fridge broke.
The only vegetarian food is also vegan, this primarily consisted of tiny trays of overbuild veg that must have contained about 150 calories, after about 12 hours I felt like I was literally starving. As I'd been stuck in the middle seat going to the galley to request snacks was difficult. I would buy your own food in the airport.
Ease of boarding. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. In flight entertainment great.

Cons: "I asked information about our arrival gate, because I had a short connection and the crew could not tell me what gate we were getting off at. They did not stop passengers from unloading their bags and standing up before the flight even stopped at the gate. I am frustrated with Qantas overall because we landed late and because of the customs requirement we had to pick up our bags and bring them to another bag drop for my American Airline flight to Tampa. Because of the flight delay and Customs I missed my flight by 10 minutes. And am now awaiting the next flight home which was 4 hours later."

Cons: "Changed our seats. We were not put next to each other. Reservations did a horrible job, could not get any information from them on my booking. The rebooking procedures were handled poorly. People with connections should have been handled separately and in a different way. Some people got rescheduled on earlier flights than we were told but did not know about it so many missed their rescheduled flights."

Pros: "Checking in was quick, fast through security, very enjoyable visit to the Qantas Lounge and off to board. Boarding was fast, the service was pleasant and the flight right on time."

Pros: "*Our flight from LA to Melbourne on January 7th was cancelled. Fortunately, Qantas crew members were able to place us on an American Airlines flight to JFK the very same day."
Cons: "Missed as a result of delayed flight an hour the same as on the way out To Sydney which threw a wrench in everything. Both times “to clean the plane” get a system that works."
