First time traveling with EVA.. great experience in economy class... Personnel very friendly..

I think the business class service has declined as compared to how it was years ago. I am not a fan of the hello kitty graphics. Boarding was long and not well organized. The lounge in Taipei was not very good, the food was very poor. Did not live up to many international business class lounges.
Boarding was good. It will be nice to have beer anytime. I asked for a beer at tea time & I was refused. Quite disappointed
On time service. Seat comfort and the crew service very good .
The type of the food requested (Asian vegetarian) was not properly met with. They have very limited snack items that may compensate for the main meals.

It was horrible. The flight crew was unfriendly and the food was absolutely horrible.
Delayed 30 mins but to final destination so I didn't miss a connecting flight like I did on the initial journey that added over 12 hours to my trip.
Customer service is not a top priority from boarding to while on flight, was belittled on boarding Some staff speak english at almost a 0% fluency
2 hour connection time in Seoul to make plane to Bangkok. Giant security lineup. Lots of worry over making flight reduced joy of flying via KE/Incheon. This was a repeat of my flight in Nov 2022, so apparently is the new normal for KE. Flight was boarding after I was forced to jog what seemed to be 2 miles from security to my departure gate. Please fix this. I still cannot understand that if you have already been screened in Canada for dangerous items, and there is no opportunity to obtain any between one plane and the next, why you should be screened AGAIN.
The airport is clean and updates for flight delayed and the luggage status is in a timely manner.
Food was not great. Crew was lovely. There was no whisky on the first leg (BKK - ICN). And it took forever for my luggage to come out at LAX.
They let me board first because I'm a cancer patient & 75 years old. That was greatly helpful.
Cathay has always been great. Even allowed some leniency on my baggage weight. I believe they are also on the more leg room side of airlines.
Missed our flight with Cathay due to late Westjet plane and chaotic Toronto airport. Had to clear customs get bags and re check bags in an hour. Did not make it got lost not clear signage with bag drop off. West jet only allowed 1 checked bag for this international fluid. Cathay checked my second bag for free.
Boarding on any airline is a hot mess. Load your pivilaged passengers, then back to front. Back to front.
The flight experience was good for a long flight over the pole, but it got my wife to the Far East in time.
Problems with entertainment system eventually rectified. Cabin crew attentive and polite but a bit absent minded when it came to remembering requests, salt, sugar etc.
We flew economy light. We did not want to check bags and we had free 1 bag, but just had back packs with small personal item. Try as we may could only get bags down to 17lbs each. So we put 2 lbs from one bag into other and checked it. I think if someone has a checked bag allowance and chose not to use it , it would benefit both parties to bump carry on weight up to the next level of 22lbs or 10kgs. Just a thought.
Trip was fine. My only complaint was that when the passenger in front of me reclined her seat (which was, in essence, the whole flight except landing and take-off,) it was uncomfortably claustrophobic for me and very difficult for my husband to get in and out of his window seat. Also uncomfortable to watch the entertainment because the screen was right in your face.

The only problem was my connecting flight to Chiang Mai on Hong Kong express that I booked through Cathay Pacific was canceled and I was never told about it. I was rescheduled on a flight 10 hours later. Very long day at rgr airport in Hing Kong after a 13 hour flight but that's OK, I understand things change but I think I should have been told. I would have prepared myself for a long wait. Great flights all around though. Thank you
I didnt experience it but i saw them and heard that some are not good in customer service. They dont know how to talk with respect and in a nice way.with persons who needs it. Especially with seniors and people who does not know how to speak english that much.
Overall the flight was a good experience. It is different from American Airlines because they board the back of the plane first rather than the front first. Food was decent. They gave out pillows ,blankets , and face masks. I did find this airline had faster flights back home than others. Less travel and layover time.
Expensive and yet uncomfortable. Was told by the crew to get back to us for the breakfast meal but never returned, my child was hungry

Upgrade their seats. They’ve got 20-year-old business class seats in their 777s. The food choices. On the way to Manila and the way back I thought we’re lousy compared to other carriers. The staff was fantastic and very happy.
I’m 6’2” and the seats were too close together for my knees, very uncomfortable.
The food was ordinary, this could be improved. Sleeping was comfortable enough for several hours sleep. The layover time in Manila Mabuhay lounge for 17 hours was awful. Surely I could have been given a flight to Perth within that time on another airline. At 74 years of age I find that far too long and stressful and will probably not travel with Philippine Airlines again for that reason. The food offering on board and in the lounge was also a little underwhelming. The crew were wonderful and the flight comfort was good also.
The economy class sitting/chairs is tight not spacious enough to sit comfortably but for other matters everything is perfect 👍☺️
The checkin was unacceptable. Agent took about 3-5 min minutes with me, standing in front of her, and not in acknowledging my presence. Finally, when she started processing my check in as a priority passenger, she neglected to give me a lounge pass until I reminded her . when I went to the lounge, they didn’t have me registered. However, the agent there still accepted me Did not tag my luggage as priority, so I had to wait until almost the very end before my luggage appeared. My Wi-Fi as premier elite did not work. This was not a good start to my lengthy flight.
Free wifi or cheaper wifi rate will be better. Or upgrade your entertainment system.
We were seated in Business class. The seats must have been original to the A319 from 1995! The seat back had ZERO padding/cushion! It felt like I was leaning against a plywood wall (in reality, it was probably some composite material that was as hard as plywood. ) but very uncomfortable.
Connection was easy to find and quick. Plane was older but comfortable. The food contained beans again so a similar problem of being in a tin can in the sky after eating beans. Overall flight was uneventful which is great.
Check-in was quick and efficient, the flights were smooth and comfortable and the food was fairly tasty. Eating beans while in a tin can in the sky is not necessarily the best choice. Our luggage came quickly and easily.
Delayed on the way in 2 hours!!! And now on the way home delayed then cancelled!!!!!
Delay in luggage again for the second time of the trip. I would not advise using air Canada or at least I will never check in a luggage. Luggage issue overshadows the nice crew members unfortunately.
Air Canada was fine but air Canada rouge and air Canada express was terrible with luggage delays. First flight was cancelled so my luggage did not make it to my destination with me. The second flight returning not sure why but my luggage did not make it on my connecting flight. Overall terrible with handling luggage.
If I’m gonna sit in the 39th row You might as well let me on after the first class passengers Especially if I have no luggage for overhead Just a thought
Noticed a marked difference in keg room from last flight. Would consider other airline on next red eye.
Delay caused us to miss connecting flight and 3 hour layover. All connecting flights my wife and I couldn’t sit together. Once arrived luggage arrived 4 days later
The baggage drop-off for Air Canada in Toronto for passengers flying international was terrible. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. The line was ridiculous; there was no one to help facilitate people avoid confusion, and the baggage system for the line I finally ended up in had to be re-booted right as I got to it.
