Cons: "I bought my ticket on kayak because on the search filter, it said 1 carry-on bag and 1 check-in bag but after the e-ticket was issued it said that it was a no luggage and no meal ticket. I had to pay excess in baggage fees ($100 AUD for 1 check in bag) and during the flight, all you get is coffee, tea or water. You have to pay for meals or soft drinks. I think if I bought on air New Zealand website, I would’ve gotten a better idea of all the fare types and pay a little bit more to get the proper amenities."

Pros: "After the schedule for my Houston flight was delayed by 3 1/2 hours, customer service was able to put me on a flight thru LAX which got me back to my original ORD arrival time and avoided an overnight stay before continuing on home. The meal vouchers offered were an unexpected bonus. Thanks."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled and my itinerary was re-booked and going thru Melbourne to Perth. I lost half day of my life wasted in the Airport. The worst part of this change was flying on an old 737 thru Melbourne without the entertainment access for this long flight."

Excellent service all staff where very friendly patient and efficient solved a boarding problem for me due to me not being able to access the visa portal for the USA.

Pros: "I traveled with my 4 children and my husband. Out of Honolulu the flight is scheduled very late so i had extemely exhausted children. The gate agents were so very helpful and so compassionate, especially because my 4 month old baby was crying. They stepped up and helped me with my other kids as my husband was out looking for water to make a bottle for him. Awesome awesome service! The crew was very nice and helpful when we were all sleeping. Did not bother us once and they let us sleep. Unfortunately I did not try their food service but my husband said it was delicious. The only thing was that they only offered a couple of movies via some small screen at the ceiling of plane making it hard for my 5 yo daughter to watch anything ultimately relying on their tablets which dies early. Overall, from check in to touch down, it was a very pleasant flight! Oh! And the blankets were so soft!!"
Pros: "Nothing. I felt they were racist. Not only were we not able to board the plane early with our Baby based on Veronica denying our request request I notice the female crew would acknowledge the other Babies and never noticed our African American Baby."

I could feel the knees of the person behind me in my lower back for 15 1/2 hours. The. Seats were small and space was tight. People were nice. Coffee in the morning was in a small cup and half full and they never came around again.
Better enforcement of carry ons. It was a full flight but people still brought on 2+ hand carries. This caused the boarding and settling of passengers to take longer than it needed.
4 hour delay that caused me to miss my connection. Couldn't get changed to another flight until arrival. Instructions for checking in for the first flight were wrong. There is no Air Canada counter in OKC to check in with.
THEY LOST MY BAGS. I WILL NOT GET THEM BACK FOR 2 WEEKS. everything was delayed. boarding, take off, everything. it was horrible. i am now without luggage for 2 weeks and they have offered me 0 compensation or help. i will NEVER fly air canada again and i suggest you don’t either <3
I had a lo of issues with my flight and bot moved to a new flight four separate times

I had a chance to see the Captain personally interacting with a mother of an infant and was happy to see the caring interaction. Also the crew was very helpful.

Cons: "The flight was delayed and then the pilot decided to (after the doors were closed and ready to go) unload and reload cargo and board more people. So based on their decision, we were even further delayed and subsequently missed our connection in sydney. United has offered no compensation either for our change fee in sydney nor for the stress they added to our vacation - on a Christmas flight nonetheless!"

Cons: "The food is mediocre - everything has meat in it and they use tons of plastic. Also, the plane was late getting to the gate. This wouldn’t have been an issue had the pilot not decided to off board and then re onboard cargo (the commercial stuff they get paid to carry). This took about 20 minutes and then after the winds changed, he decided he could load more passengers. So despite having the doors locked and getting ready to leave the gate, they opened the doors up again and boarded more people for the next 40 minutes. So they chose to make a delayed flight even more delayed (on Christmas Eve). So we inevitably missed our connection in sydney and had to pay a change fee since it’s a different airline. Thanks for the Christmas gift United - you always know how to disappoint your passengers."
