Food was great except for the snacks. Crew is excellent!
My lay over was changed so that my flight was boarding on the opposite side of the airport at the same minute I was walking through the gangway getting off my first flight. I took screen shots of the times and it was alarming to say the least.
Everything was great until landed and had to wait 25 minutes to get into our gate! Can’t think of a good excuse for that on such a late, cross-country flight. Plenty of prep time!
Crew was super helpful storing my bag, seating people, etc And now they’ve started thanking their Delta frequent flyer members !! Two crew came to find me and thanked me by name
Pros: "The crew members were nice and didn't bother while sleep when giving out snacks & drinks (I've had this done to me before, annoying). Plane was comfortable because it wasn't packed, so was able to have a seat empty in-between me. The entertainment offered was really good, the connecting to the Go-inflight WiFi was a bit difficult, but no biggie."
Cons: "THE DELTA TERMINAL AT HARTSFIELD AIRPORT, ATLANTA, IS DIS-ORGANIZED!!!! THERE WAS NO ONE GIVING PROPER INSTRUCTIONS FOR DROPPING BAGS OFF, PEOPLE WERE EVERYWHERE IN EVERY KIND OF MADE LINE!!! ALMOST 30 - 40 MINUTES OF WASTED TIME, THIS AND THE SLOWEST TSA PROCESS CAUSED MANY TO PROBABLY MISS THEIR FLIGHTS, INCLUDING ME (THANKFULLY MY FLIGHT WOUND UP BEING 3HS DELAYED - THAT'S NEXT). DELTA SHOULD INFORM TRAVELERS ABOUT TIMES WITH THEIR BAG DROP AND TSA!!! 3HRS TO GET A SMALL PART THAT ONLY TAKES 2 MINUTES TO FIX, I'M VERY GRATEFUL IT WAS FOUND WHILE ON THE GROUND, BUT AFTER 1 AND HALS HOURS COULDN'T WE HAVE JUST CHANGED PLANES!?!?! When I compared apples to apples and looked at the 2 bags I wanted to check the price was within 20 dollars ant the Copa flight was at a better time. The Copa flights had food service and the meal was good, chicken and pasta. Would it have been worth 10.00 at the airport? Yes it would have been. 1 meal each way would more than make up the difference. All in all the flight worked out to be at a better time with friendlier service and an equal or better value for my total cost. The flights were on time. Nicely done."

I’m not sure if every Westjet flight I was lucky and had amazing crew members or if the staff on this flight was having a bad flight. Our flight was delayed by 75min. The flight crew did not attend to any requests from the customers for the 75min we were on the tarmac. I asked for headphones and the crew member look agitated I asked made a remark about how nobody buys them so she didn’t know how much they are. She said she would come back with the price, and did not. I had to wait for the beverage cart and then order them again. Then I asked for an additional can of ginger ale. The gentleman said he’ll need to come back (as he was cleaning the garbage). He never came back. I had to hit the assistance button again and got the original woman. Once again agitated and when I asked she said to wait for the beverage cart again. After another 10-15min they started the beverage service again. On previous flights there were delays, shorter like 30min westjet crew members gave free headphones. And those are the kind of experiences I’ve come to expect from westjet. Not the free aspect but flight crew that care about the customers. The entire crew on this flight was agitated and annoyed from boarding and it definitely showed. Small things like even a smile or even sorry everyone, would’ve gone a long way. But when the crew doesn’t care the flight gets 10x longer, and when the flight is already delayed by 25% of the flight duration it comes to a point where you’re counting down the seconds to get out. The delay was unfortunate and out of the control of the company and crew but that doesn’t mean the crew couldn’t still make it into a memorable experience for the guests."

Pros: "WS Care Center staff Minmico (think it was her name) arranged the 4:15 flight instead of the 6 pm flight but only because I requested her to check that flight when I returned to the CC to find out if it was possible to get on an earlier flight. I should have been advised when I first arrived at the CC from my delayed flight from Toronto that I could check back at the CC to see if there was a cancellation. Minmico allowed me to use her phone a couple of times to call my husband to advise him of the changes in my flight, which was very helpful. She tried hard just prior to the flight departure to have my bag delivered to the 4:15 flight but was unsuccessful. She gave me food vouchers, which I liked. I also thought the WS CC staff in Abbotsford was very helpful explaining the process for making a baggage claim when my bag didn't arrive due to my last minute flight change - the $100 voucher was appreciated when I picked up my bag the next day."
Cons: "Had to sit in the plane for almost 2 hours because the computer was being fixed on the plane. Crew did not communicate in a timely manner about when we would be flying.The plane should not have been in operation if the computer didn't work and passengers should not have had to wait on the plane for two hours while it was fixed. I missed my WS connecting flight to Abbotsford from Calgary and was only rescheduled on a plane departing 6 hours later! No one at WesJet Care suggested there may be a cancellation on an earlier flight - I had to arrange it by returning to the WS Care Center. I just barely made it onto an earlier 4:15 pm flight but without my bag which was put onto the later 6 pm flight. I chose to return the next day to pick up my bag."

Cons: "Due to the fact that my trip to was not clearly indicated as non stop it is the first time in thirty years of regular travel that I did not have a direct flight to Calgary. Then I was not able to change my flight at the airport even though there was room available on a direct Westjet flight leaving as close to the same time. But the worst part as after landing we waited for a very long time for the plane to pull up to a gate (unnecessarily burning fuel and poluting the environment). And finally we waited another very long time for the doors of the plane to be opened for disembarkation. More than 3/4 of an hour waiting on the ground after a one hour flight very late in the evening. As a result I hat to take a cab home from the airport. Now I will try my best to not fly Westjet."

You can use any bathroom on the plane as well which is huge on those rare times you need to use it. They are funny and chatty and seem to enjoy working together which all translates to a less rushed and relaxed experience for us the passenger. I really can’t complain....I had an entire row to myself....the best you can hope for, when riding on a plain for hours that’s like winning the lottery!"

Whether due to the time of flight or that they were leaving Orlando, I don't know, but I was expecting a little more cheer or at least positivity from them. Also the flight was "running low" on drinks and so I they only came through the cabin once to offer soft drinks, which I needed as I had still to catch a red eye and function during my layover. I wasn't pleased with them. Lastly the West Jet connect app worked just fine for my ipad but despite advertising my wife was unable to get it to work on her computer (mac) despite multiple attempts. If TVs are no longer going to be standard on planes someone needs to be present to help with I.T. when the system isn't working as advertised."

First time missed my connecting to Hong Kong and Bangkok. I know nothing perfect, but this seems to be the norm. Next time will try to find someone else to fly with."

Cons: "This was my first time booking a PLUS seat and never realized that row 2A seat sucks. Its a bulkead row seat that is by the window. This seat was worse to sit in than any other seat on the plane. This seat is located were the plane starts to curve in toward the front of the plane reducing the seat width, I have a 33" waist and it was tight. The arm wrests in this row don't come up as they stow your table, as well the leg room is only as good as a regular seat because of the bulkhead location. So FYI do not book this seat on a long flight."

I feel a four hour flight is sufficiently long enough to provide people some space to relax. We were delayed for whatever reason, lack of communication from staff to the passengers that were boarded really quite early (perhaps too early). One of the staff, while nice enough, was being a bit snarky to people as they were trying to, what I thought was helpfully, give them their garbage."

No more flights to Penticton, so I had to take a flight to Kelowna after 6:00pm or fly the next day. I met a couple to share a ride to Penticton once I reached Kelowna. My luggage was lost in Calgary and so I went on to Penticton, to Osoyoos. The next day, West Jet delivered my suitcase to me. I appreciate the voucher I was given to buy a few things and the promptness of my luggage. We live in Canada, the weather in the winter can be quite an annoyance and so it was last week."

The wait time at check in is extremely too long. I waited for two hours. I had 20 mins to make my flight after security and customs check.
My flight from Lima to La has been delay for 2 hours l has to run because l had a conecction from La to Phoenix of course the airport was a mess because it was under construcción. My coneccion was delay again for 45 minutes! Well l made it l guess! The landing was horrible!!

Cons: "I needed to change my flight because of a death in the family. To change my flight was more expensive than the initial ticket itself. That is ridiculous. You should not do that to people. There should be a $300 change fee and that's it. At most. The entertainment would be good if I could hear it - but I couldn't. The sound was terrible. Uncomfortable seats. Barely slept. Overal terrible experience. Also turn on the damn entertainment while we are waiting on the tarmac - why wait until we are in the air? Almost every other airline - all the good ones - Emirates, Lufthansa, and other quality airlines - will let you access the in flight entertainment as soon as you sit. But the change cost of the ticket was the most offensive thing. I feel robbed, in a time of tragedy."

According to Latam, Virgin changed my flight and forgot to rebook my return home. I ended up sleeping at the Lima airport, paying out of pocket almost $2000 and having to fly through Miami. No one took responsibility for the fact my ticket was changed and I wasn't informed - unacceptable."

There was a seat for one of us (we overheard same conversation at counter next to our - 2 passengers, one available seat)... Explanation was they had technical problems with original plane and they had to replace it with smaller one and everybody else used online checkin in last 48 hours...Everybody else used online checkin?! Is that the rule? Last 48 h of my trip in Peru i did not have internet access, but if it's the only way to get your seat, you paid for months in advance, then I would find some solution. At the end, staying persistent in our request,we were on the scheduled flight (some "miracle" happened and we got 2 seats, next to each other, as same as couple from counter next to us)"
Cons: "I flew home on the LATAM600 Lima to LAX. My flight was suppose to leave noon on May 25. Unfortunately we were delayed until noon the following day, May 26. I understand these matters are out of attendant's control, but the changes were not communicated in English and everyone was extremely slow to get us situated. Our flight was officially canceled at 5:30 pm, and it took five more hours for the attendants to get us to a hotel. In the morning, the transportation was not communicated well that I missed the bus. During all this, they never tried to re-book anyone either. I would pass on flying LATAM in the future."

I have traveled extensively for almost 20 years and have NEVER dealt with such a terrible company with such shady employees. It was unbelievable and we aren't the only ones. Just take a peek at their social media accounts. They don't allow reviews anymore but there is a community of people who have been stranded in South America by LATAM and the link is easily found. They seem to have a ploy to try and get people to buy extra tickets. Seriously a scam. Stay away!"

When I attempted to go through security they informed me this wasn't a boarding pass and was missing information. They said I would have to go back downstairs to the desk again. have a visible disability that affects the way I walk, and typically I do not require a wheelchair. I give myself enough time to get to my destination, but thanks to Brunella I was running incredibly late. I finally arrived though my flight was then rerouted to Orlando due to weather conditions at Miami and never arrived in Miami. The pilot of this flight LA2514 decided he was done and wouldn't fly there at all. The passengers were informed they would take buses to Miami."

Pros: "Despite having a high "Sapphire" status with this One World Partner and being promised "preferente" seats by the airline when I reserved seats months ago, I was unable to view the seats or check in online. Both their App and their online system were down and unavailable. We were never able to view our actual seats online. The "preferred seats" my group on 5 could not have been worse!! We were seated consistently in row 11 or the very last row of the aircraft immediately in front of the lavatory, where the seats do not recline at all and where you hear and smell the bathroom for the entire flight.. There was NO space to breathe in our seats. I have traveled on dozens of airlines and this experience and these seats were the WORST! After this happened once, I specifically asked to insure that it would not happen again and was told that seats on my next flights were good but they were the same horrible seats. Part of our itinerary was on LAN and part was on TAM, who have now combined into 1 airline, but still operate on separate systems. So LAN customer service could not see the seats for TAM flights and vice versa. Their online system reflected a changed time for our return flight from 145pm to 250pm from Rio. We verified it 3 times (even though we could not check in or view our seats because of "technical difficulties" we could see the new departure tie, and the change was confirmed by our Sheraton concierge, but when we arrived to the airport they informed us that we had arrived to late for our 145pm flight! We showed them the app that showed our flight was changed to 250pm and they could not explain the problem. We were delayed 4 hours and arrived too late for dinner in Santiago. The final 4 hour flight at 4am flight from Santiago to Lima was torture. The seat in front was literally 6 inches in front of my face when they reclined and I could not recline. It was absolute TORTURE! Avoid this airline! To add the agony, they have lost my bag and do not know where it is!"

The telephone service for questions, while in Peru, was terrible. My flight reservation number was changed and I needed to talk to someone. I had to call the States help line instead of the local number which had a non working automated answering menu."

They lost my customs paper, and then proceeded to accuse me of "selling it"--They took it after I passed through customs initially and if they put it back in passport after they threw them all in plastic bags- god knows where it is, or who's hands it was in who may have took it. They would not give us food vouchers, or water. They couldn't figure out how to get buses and hotel rooms for people- basic simple business skills-- add number of passengers going to hotel, calculate number of seats per bus and that will get you the number of buses needed--- they couldn't figure that out. I will never fly with LATAM again."
I like that the flights were on time. However the transfer in Mexico airport was rather confusing Due to the fact the Aircrafts were remote.. once we reached the departure gate, we were bused to the aircraft. The hard part was getting to the departure gate. There was just no signs we just kept walking and walking and walking with no Teleprompter in sight. The crew using the PA system on the plane when notifying passengers needs to speak clearly and slowly! Their feeble attempt to speak in English is mumbled & unclear.

Then, they took our check-in luggage from the plane and it went through an inspection (bag by bag), so this caused another hour delay. After that they gave us our check-in luggage for us to take it to another location (to another floor) within the airport to be checked-in again. They wanted to charge us $20.00 additional per check-in bag even though they were half of the weight limit. After we complained, they dropped this charge. Due to all the delays we lost our connection and we had to book another flight. Not a good experience. We will never make a stop in Mexico in the future."

But I change my mind and decided to have a cary on. when I arrived at the airport I told an agent that I wanted to bring my suitcase as carry-on and she said that it was too large. So I had to wait in line. When I finally fot to the counter the agent and the agent realized I had already paid. She said that I could try take my suitcase under my own responsibility because she thought security would send me back. I was very surprised to hear this because it is a computer case. I did not have any problems and was able to embark. The plane had not bern clean. The pocket underneath my table had a used kleenex and the table of the person seated next to my had coffee spilled. During the 5:50 hrs only once were we offer a drink. Really bad service for an international flight."

More legroom than other planes, an abundance of bathrooms and open space to stand up for a while (and rock your cranky toddler!)"
Cons: "I had no problems with the flight at all, but it wasn't as nice as the trip down. They both said they were Dreamliner 787s but on the way down the airplane was amazing! The overhead compartments were the best, lots of head and leg room, and the electronic tinting on the windows was really cool. The return trip was on the same kind of plane but it seemed just a bit older, with less room and older window shades. Not a huge deal, just not as amazing as the other plane."

My luggage arrived with sticky oil all over it but there was no time to complain or clean it due to the delay in connecting flight."
