When we checked in to pick up our car, they never told us they did not have a full size car available for us. Instead of upgrading us or informing us, we waited for about 30 minutes for our car to show up then told us after we asked about it that they didn’t have it. They still didn’t upgrade us at this point. Eventually a full size car pulled in, still wet from being washed and only a half tank of gas. The insurance also doubles the rental price.Reviewed 14 Feb. 2022

Hi, Haven’t a car at the airport. The price has more than doubled, it was a joke. We took a taxi and we pass by the agency of our hotel to rent a car for our journey. I sent email about my angriness and for the cancellation but haven t received any follow up, so client service was not good. Made a reservation 30dec morning for $286 from 30dec to 2jan for a budget car. When I came they increase my price to ~$500 + 800$ deposit. I tried to send a message to company - no results, just lost 2 hours of my short vacations. ACE works thru MEX rental company in Cancun airport. Never ever will book with them again. Go out and find a car from small local car rental office for $350 for 4 days.Reviewed 3 Jan. 2022

They charge you more money at the counter so you end up paying more than great reputable companies with much better cars. Terrible service. Stayed in Line for pick up for an hour. I will never use this company again!Reviewed 26 Dec. 2021

Pickup is a shuttle ride away from the terminal, but the drop off is a totally different place and it is hidden behind trees, is not clearly posted, and was very difficult to find. Shuttles are supposed to be every 10 minutes but are not. Every stripe or smudge of dirt on the outside they tried to tell me was damage until I walked up to it and wiped it off showing nothing on the actual paint. Price was double what the booking online said once all the random fees were added.Reviewed 14 Aug. 2021

Bait-and-switch scam. You'll get quoted a low rate online and by the time you pay for all of the hidden fees at the pick-up location, you have to pay over twice what you were expecting. They made me pay a drop off fee, even though I had indicated in my original reservation that it would be dropped off elsewhere. Insurance was mandatory and outrageously priced and the service was dreadful. Note* In general, Mexico requires a particular type of liability insurance, which most of the rental agencies will rip you off on. Investigate this ahead of time, as you can get better rates from a third party.Reviewed 12 Aug. 2021
