Pros: "Food was good ."
Cons: "Didnt turn on the AC until were in air, implying that everybody was sweating for 30min from boarding to ip in air. Crew refused Green Tea, saying it is only offered in Business class"
Pros: "Nice smooth flight. Also lovely to be offered a drink and food. Although the quiche is not great. Wasn’t nicer last year"
Cons: "Maybe just change the quiche. Very dry"
Pros: "Crew was attentive, video selection was very good"
Cons: "Seat cushion was very hard for 7 hour fight. Bring a pillow!"
Pros: "The crew was great."
Cons: "There was no entertainment on board. I was in the last row, and my seat would not recline, which made the flight less than comfortable."
Pros: "The crew"
Cons: "Boarding by rows and not like cows all at one time"
Pros: "Nice breakfast treat and chocolate is always appreciated"
Cons: "Not a specific complaint about this flight but boarding in general is not smooth No online check-in that I could find."
Pros: "Not very much to like. No effort to enhance customer service, accommodate customer needs. I fly a lot of regional and international airlines, was truly underwhelmed."
Cons: "I landed at Zurich airport at 6am with an 11 hour wait and tried to get onto an earlier us bound flight. The ground crew were awful and rude!. The dint make any effort to smile, look at me in the face or ask how I was doing!. Instead she took one look at my ticket and said “ sorry you bought through an agent, I can’t help you”. When I tried to ask if in future it is advisable to book through Swiss airlines directly, the customer service agent looked at me and said “ that’s your problem”- then she turned to her friend and kept talking! Honestly! . The airport terminal E is grey, drab and boring. No TV and only 2 hour of WiFi. I was told I had to pay to use one of their lounges just to get a recliner chair to lay my head for 11 hours. I felt like I was in a holding cell- and the flight was delayed by an hour, had a gate change that they dint tell us till less than 1hour- boy was I glad to leave Zurich!. If that is Swiss hospitality, they have a long way to go. Save your money and use another airline. You will be much happier- trust me."
Pros: "Service was minimal but sufficient, Food was good"
Cons: "Seats 23A, 23B were extra cramped on the B777-300ER, even though they are sold as "extra comfort"! due to the video screen taking space between the seats. The seats were so cramped that the overhead light kept coming on, unknowingly, when people shifted in their seats."
Pros: "Nothing!! And by the way this is the last time I travel with you guys. I couldn’t travel because of my itinerary doula -Bruxelle - Zurich- Washington Dulles . I was not told when I bought the ticket that I will need a visa to transit between Bruxel to Zurich. Now they told me that my only option is to buy another ticket . Thank God éthiopien Airline was more affordable."
Cons: "Nothing!!
Pros: "Flight is conformable.. Crew was fine."
Cons: "they did not put our special meal request for the 1st leg of our journey .. it was only 2.5 hours flight.. so its okay,.. but generally not a good thing...experience at the Zurich airport was not good. They checked our passports 3 times before we got to our gate. Swiss airlines should account for these things when they give options for the connections. we had about and hour and half layover and did not even have time to have coffee or anything before a 9+ hour flight. We just ran from one flight to another and barely made to our flight.."
My flight from Washington, DC to Istanbul was close to excellent. However, my Turkish flight from Istanbul to Johannesburg South Africa was outrageously horrible. The flight was delayed three times and we did not get proper notification of the delays. We then missed our connecting flight in Johannesburg and right now we are struggling to get reimbursement for the overnight hotel cost that we had to then incur in Johannesburg and the new flight tickets that we had to purchase as a result of delays
Pros: "Boarding that’s all."
Cons: "Food, crew, entertainment they should upgrade the TV very important it’s very outdated but Istanbul airport is awesome."
Cons: "New Istanbul airport requires kilometres to walk and then take a super crowded bus. Insane"
Pros: "The best airline"
Cons: "My above head storage was occupied with airline stuff. They boarded a little late and there were no separate lines for front and back of the plane."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "For such a LONG flight, grateful to ask Turkish Airlines to make available bigger aircrafts."
Cons: "My bags were misplaced I have to wait for an extra day to get it"
Pros: "Yes.The crew was amazing"
Cons: "To have a variety of foodstuffs especially the soft drinks. Hot Tea wasn't really hot.Just warm."
Pros: "Entertainment, and crew was nice"
Cons: "Seats and food. I had a dietary restriction (no dairy). But instead of giving me poached chicken and boiled potatoes be more creative and put more flavour. It’s lactose free not flavour free"
Pros: "NOTHING. Never made the connection."
Cons: "Flying your passengers to your hub so they can make their connecting flights, for a start..."
Pros: "Good seats, great staff, good food, luggage service on time, excellent price!!"
I paid extra for a seat with more leg room but they changed the plane and found myself in an ordinary seat. This is expensive at 50€
The hard product, food, and service are far superior to their North American counterparts
Pros: "The gentleman at the check out his name was Omar went over and above the call of duty for Customer Service me being an American he walked me through each step of using flybe via air France and paying for checking my bags and even the carry on luggage and getting me through security etc."
Cons: "Boarding (by bus) was a total chaos. I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."
Pros: "crew was great, seats were comfortable"
Cons: "departure board listed flight as being boarded and gate closed hour before flight leading to confusion and standing in queue for over an hour, part of food was frozen and inedible, paid for upgraded seat which turned out to be by bathroom smells were as bad as you can imagine"
Cons: "Train your ground crew. Our luggage was not placed on our flight from Paris to Amsterdam and were sent to Amsterdam on separate planes. My husband’s medication was in his bag. This was a great inconvenience for us. Never again on Air Canada. I suggest you explore the baggage process used by Delta."
Cons: "If you have to change planes and Paris is your middle person. Leave at least 2-3 in between the two flights otherwise you might not make it."
Pros: "The crew was efficient and friendly. The plane took off on time and landed on time."
Cons: "Boarding was slow and tedious. People still crowd around the boarding area despite there being row for the zones. Why they don't board from back to front is beyond me. The food was mediocre at best."
Pros: "The crew"
Cons: "Everything was incredibly poor. Flight was delayed, entertainment was outdated and the airport staff were rude."
Pros: "The plain was ok, the crew really nice and attentive. The only “problem” would be the food, mostly for the breakfast that was awful."
Pros: "The crew was very attentive"
Cons: "As much as the flight was truly very good and the crew very friendly and helpful as much as the equipment (airplane, seats, entertainment) really shabby and certainly not worth the the 2500,00 $ I paid for a better seat. I could of flown with Air transat and get better than I got with Air Canada. I feel it was rip off. Quality - price not there . Please give your crew a better uniform. The ones they wear now is very sad and oldish looking. If I think this and am 67 years old, imagine what the younger generation thinks."
Pros: "Everything was perfect on the flight. The service, the food and the crew."
Cons: "Seats are a bit small. Not very comfortable and touch screen of entertainment system was slow."
Pros: "Nothing..you're going from one airline to another one... N the schedule is was changed without notice..."
Cons: "First I get to the airport in Montreal to fly with Lufthansa.as I bought my ticket with Lufthansa.. ..made line for about 15 min they tell me it is not with them, it is with air canada..no reason why...so I did made line again..the hours of that fly were the same.. but when I landed in Geneva somebody is waiting for me to tell me my fly has been cancel..so I had to fly to Zurich instead and not only that I had a meeting today getting into barcelona but with the new schedule instead of arriving to 400 pm I ended up getting there at 730pm..and to add to this it is a 4 days trip so I already lost one..and I still not in Barcelona so will see what happens to my bag."
Cons: "Lack of communication. Crew was unattentitive and seemed to not know protocol or appear to have things under the control."
Pros: "The passengers, the Brussels airport retail area, 1 of the flight attendants who was polite and welcoming, and the entertainment selections. Finally being connected to Swiss staff."
Cons: "The crew was not very welcoming and was borderline rude when I asked any sort of question such as why I was not allowed to wear my headphones prior to take off. I was patient in not wearing them, but could not relaxing into the trip for the 40+ minutes we remained on the ground mostly not moving. I was tired when boarding and fumbled with my documents and was very curtly told to just hand them over. Another time I accidentally mistook headphones the stewardess was handing out for something else. I took a pair and then immediately gave them back with an apology that I didn't realise what they were, but thanked her anyway. This was met with a scowl and a bit of opposition. There was one stewardess that was very nice and accommodating out of the entire crew. On top of this the toilet seat on the plane was broken, so it fell on you when you were trying to go to the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was broken. I didn't dare mention these things to the flight crew though. The plane was late taking off from Montreal, and so was late landing in Brussels. No effort was made to provide connections assistance, or provide directions on where to go to rebook our missed connections. I and all others traveling to Zurich spent the entire morning trying to find anyone from Air Canada to help us rebook our flights. We literally were going from desk to desk between two terminals, and consulting each other as we went to limit the amount of leg work we all had to do. We all had to finally leave the terminal area and go to Swissport and stand in a long slow line. By that time any afternoon flight was already overbooked. So I and a group of other passengers were booked for an evening flight which forced me to book a hotel in Zurich because I couldn't get to where I needed to be that evening. After being rebook, I still tried to get on an earlier flight by going directly to the gate. It was confirmed that there was some extra space available, but they would not switch me to the earlier flight because I had a checked bag that I could not separate me from. Ultimately my bag was lost which made me have to stay awake and in the Zurich airport even longer after I finally arrived going from one lost baggage representative to another, and then waiting in another line to finally fill out paperwork because my bag had never been scanned in Brussels. The Zurich representatives were very polite, helpful, and efficient compared to anyone I encountered in Montreal, or Brussels. I was without my bag for 3.5 days of what was supposed to be a 10 day trip. My trip was reduced to 9 days because I spent an entire day in the Brussels airport and then had to spend the night in Zurich. I arrived in Zurich on Saturday night, and received my bag on Tuesday afternoon. All in all it was not a good experience until I got to Switzerland."
Pros: "Where do i start? It’s a short flight to be sure but air canada planes never feel like many Other airlines’ mini planes or puddle jumpers. they seem new, spacious, seat back Entertainemnt, just great. Also, there is no scrimping on Service. How many Delta or united or American flights have i taken on this route only to be told “coffee or water” and sometimes no coffee “the flight is too short”. Nonsense! Granted I was in business, but I had a full hot breakfast served and a full array of beverages offered. It AC can do it, everyone can. The flight attendant was lovely."
Cons: "The flight was too short :)"
Pros: "Boarding was easy"
Cons: "This was a +10 hour trans Atlantic flight. We walked on and immediately noticed there were no TV screens. I expected that the crew would be handing out portable screens instead which would have been ok but pretty inconvenient. This was not the case. We asked the crew and were told that to have entertainment for the flight we would have to download the Air Canada flight into our OWN devices and connect to the airplane wifi. They also explained that you can't download the app while connected to the airplane wifi so anyone who wanted entertainment had to scramble to download the app while we were still on the ground and Use cellular data! at this point 300 people were either panicking because they didn't have a personal device with them, didn't have a charger for their device and so would have power issues or were forced to use up roaming data because they had non Canadian phone plans!!! At the very least staff should have told passengers about this setup while they were waiting at the gate, so that people would have time to download the app with airport wifi! add to all this the fact that the app was extremely low quality and the options for movies/show were disappointingly dated and limited. This was not officially a cheap low cost flight for my family but the service we got certainly would categorize it as such. Very disappointed."
Pros: "They provided a meal, a snack, and plenty of beverages. The crew was pleasant, attentive, and helpful."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed three hours. My flight and one other were the last to leave that night. There were no TVs on this flight. The only way to watch movies was on a smart phone or electronic device through their app. My poor old fashioned dad, didn't bring his phone so he would have just sat there for seven and a half hours if I didn't let him borrow mine. AirCanada's alternative is to rent an iPad from them, just another way for airline companies to get money out of us. The movie choices on their app were bad and older. International flights usually have new movies to so it is less likely passengers have seen them already."
Pros: "Roomy plane."
Cons: "Restroom no working for disabled. Boarding was disorganized and chaotic."
Cons: "No entertainment no snacks no checked in luggage. You have to pay to rent iPad to watch inflight movies as pay for earphones. Air Canada has become a premium priced airline with extra low cost /no frills service. Sad and disappointing. Last time I am flying with AC. Rather book cheaper airlines and know what to expect than pay a premium and get even less than the low cost option. Boarding staff was rude pushing people etc"
Internet was not working for a bet . Hard to order food with our credit card because it was not in your system .
I really don’t know if it ever happened. I never made it any further than the horrible Newark airport because of the snowstorm.
It would have helped if I knew it would be air Canada jazz/rouge. The flight was ok but the planes are older and smaller with no entertainment. Fitting the carry one every one had was tricky and made the process longer. Overall it was ok but I actually booked a company other than air Canada and got them which was disappointing.I prefer American or overseas airlines over Canadian because the experience is usually better
Booked economy through United - air canada treated it as standby and was almost refused boarding.
Cons: "Video entertainment did not work properly. Stewardess reset it but audio was totally garbled. I tried it with three different sets of earphones."
Pros: "Crew in flight was nice and professional Sit in 1st class was comfortable"
Cons: "For this flight everything was good"
Cons: "A delay of 28hrs is never positive. I haven’t been able to get my United points either since I was rerouted to SFO. When claiming them the system says that I never boarded the flight to EWR and completely ignore the YYZ - SFO flight. Mediocre overall."
Pros: "Timeliness, professional staff and crew"
Cons: "Less cramped airplane: there is nothing wrong with the plane itself but every time I have travelled this route the plane has been completely full (this time it was even oversold) so a bigger plane would help"
Pros: "The flight was easy and quick. These small planes are actually pretty comfortable."
Cons: "Waiting for a gate in Chicago is never fun. Most people on the plane seemed to have tight connections, and I'm guessing most of us missed them. I only made mine because the next flight was delayed."
Cons: "At the time at the gate did not allowed me even take my caryon bag with me, the staff was so rude an in an uncivilized manner start fighting with me ,I am a sinor person got very disrespected by your staff, I would like to bring a lawsuit against UA for what you did to me ,I wish an invitator from your office contantact me to explain everything,"
