Pros: "Even in the absolute freezing (-40F) the plane landed an hour early into Minneapolis. Was only delayed 20 minutes leaving. Crew did amazing to get the plane going."
Cons: "After a delay of about an hour on a very full flight the gate agent asked for volunteers to check their rollaboard suitcases. The gate agents then allowed those who checked their rollaboards to board before Zone 1,which was fine. However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight."
Pros: "Lisa @ the Boston Delta check-in counter is AMAZING! She's super helpful and essentially saved our vacation! Her coworkers say she's the best and I couldn't agree more! Delta is very lucky to have someone like Lisa on their team!"

Cons: "I booked through kayak and received an e-mail saying "you're booked!" with a flight itinerary and everything and then I got to the airport and they told me I had no ticket to get on the flight and no payment had ever been made and that to get on the flight I would have to pay over $1000 for a seat !!!! The original ticket I bought was under $400. I was NOT happy with this at all - Kayak screwed me over and I expect compensation."

Cons: "Flight was booked via Princess for a cruise. Flight from Vacoouver to LAX was through Delta partner Westjet. One schedule number and flight number for Delta, a different set of numbers for Westjet. Westjet requires you call them for seat assignment for a fee. Just not smooth!"

Cons: "On this A320 craft, old style, the First class seats are a joke. I had seat 2B. The pitch is apparently less than in the Comfort+ rows. The passengers in 1A and 1B started reclining even before departure, and during the whole flight. For me and my neighbor, with that seat on our chest, it was impossible to reach down to the seat-back pocket, not to mention to the bag stowed under the seat in front. To get out of the seat, I almost could not get my legs through the 5-in. interval between the back of the front seat and the irremovable armrest. I shook the passenger sleeping in 1B rather violently a couple times. The lady in seat 2B apologized, but she had to climb and put her feet on my seat to get out of hers, there was really no other way. Delta needs to address this ridiculous situation of their First Class seats urgently."

Cons: "I am young but I am in heart failure and have an artificial heart. I had requested wheelchair service so I didn't overexert myself at the airport and was wheeled right up to the gate. There were two other older passengers in wheelchairs, one on either side of me. When it came time to pre-board flight attendants came up to both men and helped them on board. They ignored me. Then they announced regular boarding. I had to remove my bags from my lap and get up out of the chair and go to the gate to say I needed to preboard. The man looked annoyd and said they had announced it. When I explained how no one came to me but they did the others he said I could go now. I said I needed help with my bags and he acted VERY surly and put out. He did help me but I felt like they assumed because I was young I couldn't possibly be sick and treated me like a liar."

I was told they couldn't find me In the system anywhere and when they finally did find me they told me they had booked my seat onto another flight that didn't leave u til 6 pm and I would arrive home in San Diego at 10:40 pm. They refused to check my luggage because they said I had arrived too early. I wasn't too early for my originally scheduled flight! I now had to sit in the airport for 5 hours. I had to call home, arrange a sitter for my children whom I was suppose to see at 8:55 pm. They said there was nothing they could do about it."

Your current 'zone' approach results in lots of waiting for passengers lo sitting in the back....as the front passenger's mess around, trying to get themselves situated...CLUELESS that there are a hundred others WAITING in the aisle, as they tussle with their sweaters, purses, tech equipment, etc. (if you get my gist!). Just something to consider....."

Most importantly we found our luggage ransacked when we arrived at our destination. There were zip ties wrapped around both our suitcases that were cutting into the fabric. When we opened our luggage we found numerous items missing and broken. We will be filling a complaint with the airline as well as a claim with travel insurance. Finally, I will do my best to avoid connecting through Beijing airport. Most restaurants didn’t start serving food until 11:30am and our next flight boarded at that time. We arrived at 6am and we were starving. So our only real option was soup."

Cons: "My seat was broken. I had to sit lop-sided for the entire flight. The plane looked like it was built in the ‘90s. There was one screen on the wall constantly playing. It’s not like I had an option to look away as it was in front of me when I would try to relax. The check in desk was ridiculous as the line wrapped all the way through BKK airport. They needed to organize the queue better."

Cons: "I arrived at the gate having found out that someone had cancelled my ticket. I had, had to pay $800 on my flight to Seoul, since they would not let me board because of a late connecting flight. Sometime during re-issue of my destination ticket, someone cancelled my return flight. Though 3 hours early, I had to wait for the counter to open, and then wait an hour and a half standing at the counter to get a ticket. There was no entertainment. The orange juice was not drinkable. I had to run through the Beijing Airport. so many security checks and my bag was searched many times during this trip. my toothpaste was confiscated though it had only about 3 uses left it was a full size tube rolled down to the last bit."
Cons: "Flight attendants were rude. Flight was delayed for 4 hours and no explanation was given. Once boarded the plane we didint take off for another 1.5 hours. Worse experience I’ve ever had in my life. I would not recommend this airline to anyone. They charged me extra for extra leg room but allows other people to sit there for free once the flight took off I. Addition they didint allow anyone to upgrade to business class even thought they had seats available"
Cons: "Our first segment was delayed and when we landed, no priority was given to get off the plane and run for next flight. We barely made it. Got to Dubai for a wedding and our luggage didn’t make it. There were five of us flying together. No one got their bags. We landed at 1030 pm and went to out first event that night in the same track suit I flew in. Awful airline. Never again."
Pros: "The flight attendant crew is pretty good. They don’t speak great English and when they are working they are short and not so courteous, however after they have served and a bit more relaxed they are pleasant."
Cons: "Ticketing staff are horrendous to be polite. There is no such thing as customer service. Checked in online and had seat confirmation and when I was at the booth my connection flight had me sitting somewhere completely different. I showed the email confirmation to the ticketing agent and she said that’s not a confirmation and would have nothing to do with it. I quickly realized i was going to get no where so left it."
Pros: "The style of the pillows and blankets were nice. The pillows were really comfortable and a good size. The taste of the food was okay. I honestly expected a horrible experience, it was not fantastic but it was better than what I anticipated."
Cons: "The sealed blanket had white hair as if from an older person. Although I liked the pillow, on my return flight I used it to sleep, I used it for my back the entire time going, when I got home I noticed I was developing a sty on my eyelid. My companions noticed that the sometimes when he received his food it was still cold in some parts. On my return flight there were a few times my row was skipped for drinks. On my return flight the stewardess seemed hesitant when I asked for an additional drink. I ordered tea and asked for water. The gate agent in Beijing was extremely rude and unhelpful, she ignored us and even tossed our ticket back at us when we tried to ask about our seats for the flight."
Pros: "Crew Members are excellent, professional and polite at all times. No one shows their tiredness on long flights. The bathrooms were kept clean through out the flight."
Cons: "Tight seats through out the flights. I am a regular Tea person. When I asked for tea they give the Chinese green/jasmine tea. I don't think they have regular Lipton or Irish Tea. I ordered Hindu meal, for a airplane food it was OK, it could be better. Only thing travelers need to know, Beijing customs/security has long lines and their security check is intense in the transit for the carry on luggage especially after a long tired flight. For this reason I am having a second thought about flying Air China via Beijing. Also, they have random check before boarding."

Pros: "Some of my friends had bad experience with Air. China. I was a bit worry about delays and lost luggages. It came out to be quite good. It was only delayed by half an hour and I was able to retrieve all my luggages. The food is also quite good."

Cons: "No one would speak to us as to when we were boarding to let us know. The plane was older. Entertainment was limited. My wife's television was stuck on the map the entire 15 hour flight. Never been on an international flight that didn't have wifi but oh well, whatever. I had put in request several times for my wife's dietary restrictions as a vegetarian of which was never responded to and the only option was meat in all courses during the flight."

There should be more directions for dealing (assisting) with the long layover, such as hotel options/in terminal service (where to get it); otherwise, the airport at Beijing is chaotic and you will spend lots of time trying to figure out where to stay (and might get ripped off??) 3. ."

Pros: "Complimentary Movies with headphones provided were a plus. This was my transfer flight with AirChina they were not too happy about me being a vegetarian. Meals were provided. If you are not vegetarian or find out how to put your name on a special request sheet it should go smooth."
Cons: "Seats were very narrow and seat by window wouldn't recline like other window seats for both flights. (No I was not by the exit.) I am a vegetarian. And asked for no meat during meals provided. They didn't have my name in a special request list. The crew member did know how I would be asked to be put on the list and was rude when I told her I was a vegetarian even when I informed multiple crew members during my boarding since I had an issue the previous flight. The crew members in that flight were very rude even when I told them during boarding and a crew member came across with the special request sheet. Still no one could tell me how to put my name down as a special request to avoid any further confusion"

Cons: "Where to start. First off, I have flown budget air carriers with more leg room than this pacific international flight. I do admit I am a taller than average guy, but if you are over 6' tall you will have NO legroom. And I mean none. It is an insulting amount of legroom. My 5'6" wife barely had any room, never mind myself. On my flight back, I requested an emergency exit row seat (as I noticed on the flight over the emergency exit row was filled with old people and young couples with babies/ young children). And was informed it would cost $120 USD per flight per person. My jaw almost hit the floor. You mean to tell me that the emergency exit row - the row where in the case of an emergency you are supposed to physically be able to assist passengers - actually COSTS money to sit in? That is an absolute disgrace. You have to pay for the added responsibility to help in the case of an emergency? Of course, once I was on the flight the emergency exit row was filled with old people and babies. All of course perfectly capable of helping in the case of an emergency. I was, and still am furious. The gall to charge that much money and then give the responsibility to people unable to help? Meanwhile, an able-bodied couple in the 20s is denied and I am cramped in my less-than-acceptable-for-budget-airlines legroom. And the food. Putrid. Inedible. It was somehow overwhelmingly fragrant while far too bland. Its hard to imagine someone putting together that meal and feeling proud. The meals all screamed "I do not care about my customers." In fact, that is the overwhelming feeling I got from Air China. An airline that truly could not careless about their customers. I would not reccommend. Even if they are the cheapest by a far margin. Stay away. Do not go near. Air China is a terrible airline that should be avoided at all costs."

Cons: "Flight was 18hrs late, and we were kept at the boarding gate the whole time without information from ground crew. We were not offered hotel room or meal coupon, only instant noodles. It was a very bad experience for us."
Pros: "I'm 6'2" and had good leg room in coach. The food was decent and the boarding process went pretty smoothly. Each seat had a power outlet below it (kinda out of sight). Overall my flight was pretty good."
Cons: "The entrainment system was a little bit older semi touch screen (no usb charger). Air china was similar to China Eastern as they demanded all cell phones stay off for the duration of the flight. No WIFi was available for purchase."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed 2.5 hrs, however we weren't noticed until 15 mins prior to lift off. During our 9 hrs flight the inflight entertainment system worked for 1.5 hrs, and the movie selection was very limited."
Pros: "Food on PKG to JFK was very good, staff on planes were nice and efficient. Lounge in PKG was roomy and not overloaded, but food was weak. The 6 across lie flat worked good for me, not as roomy as the 4 across in some competitors but for the price was very good. I would do it all again gladly if I knew they fixed the airport - but how would you know and how could you believe them."
Cons: "Most important AVOID Beijing for transfer. 1.5 Hours on line, open unchanneled line with cut ins and it might be 2 hours if we were not a typical couple who walked past it not believing there could be sucha large line for merely doing and international transfer. This is of course after a long long walk with minimal signage. Good thing I scheduled a 4 hour layover - it became a 2 hour stand over. A horror. If I book that again I my wife may divorce me."

Something about the service lacks a bit of sparkle. I would have liked to have been offered some of the bells and whistles like a toothbrush or better headphones for the entertainment system."
