Pros: "The crew is always friendly at Porter. The free wine is awesome."
Cons: "There’s no entertainment."
Pros: "Efficient check in. Liked the shuttle bus service from subway to airport."
Cons: "As expected this is a commuter flight so very stripped down in terms of amenities. Tight plane seating and those overhead bins just barely accommodate the carry on."
Pros: "Wine and food on flight, nice crew"
Cons: "The people at the ytz airport missed our boarding call and then had to tell us in person to board and our flight was late."
Pros: "The crew was good and boarding was super efficient"
Cons: "No entertain on the plane. Since when YTZ offered no more complimentary drinks and some snack?"
Cons: "Fees, space , training their employees"
Pros: "Very convenient, non stops and airport is close to downtown"
Cons: "Captain said the 1 hour delay was due to bad weather in Washington DC but there was no bad weather in DC. He should have said the truth. I was in flight 729 from Toronto to Washington Dulles airport on 7/7."
Cons: "I was required to pay for my carryon, which I was never informed during my booking."
Pros: "Porter airlines is efficient and the customer service is the best I have experienced."
Cons: "I miss the free amenities that they used to offer at the Billy Bishop airport, but the newly renovated airport is nice!"
Pros: "The airport security was very fast"
Cons: "Have sprite on board"
Pros: "Crew were lovely"
Cons: "2 short hauls. Somewhat turbulent. No one can fix that, crept the Big Guy"
Cons: "Flight was delayed"
Pros: "Price was reasonable but the new luggage rates make Porter a less attractive option because as soon as you add up what you're paying just to carry on, it's the same price as one of the larger airlines."
Cons: "The flight was delayed about an hour and there was no notification from anyone in the airport, crew, etc. I found out because I use a separate app to track planes and get updates on flights. Knowing about the delay while in the airport would have been appreciated."
Pros: "Crew was lovely."
Cons: "New no carry on bags rule was not clear at purchase. Was very frustrating."
Cons: "Was not offered a flight back to Ottawa, had to find a ride from Toronto to Ottawa once we landed .6 hours driving. See above."
Pros: "All ok. Pilots did a great job landing in heavy winds and low temps. Bravo"
Cons: "Left late. Are later. No big problem"
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and even roomy, compared to many other airlines."
Cons: "Two minor drawbacks: (1) In the Porter lounge, where I was stuck between connecting flights, the cost of food was too high. (2) The weather buffets these small planes more than would be the case with jetliners."
Pros: "Can’t say. Still waiting to get on plane 8:08 pm for an 8:15 pm departure!!!!!!"
Pros: "I love the in-flight food and drink service and the airport terminal comfort and amenities."
Cons: "Porter is incessantly late every single time."
Cons: "The lavatory had a terrible stench. There MUST be a way to clean it between flights."
Pros: "City Center airport and staff at Porter was great"
Cons: "Flight kept getting delayed without explanation or rescheduling. Each "new" time had already passed when it was set, e.g., "The new departure time is noon" when it was already 12:15."
Pros: "It was Convenient, quick , easy and fast love it"
Pros: "The crew were friendly and the terminal in Toronto was nice. The food and drink service was more than I expected, and the checkin agents and terminal staff before security were helpful."
Cons: "My flight arriving into Toronto was cancelled and then my rebooked flight was delayed. While checkin staff were polite, gate staff were not overly helpful and no food vouchers were offered for rebooked passengers. On my return from YTZ to EWR, I received 6 delays to my flight but staff in the airport provided no information regarding the cause of the delay and did not provide updates on the flight in a timely manner. By the time my flight was delayed a 5th time, I was stuck in the terminal. Free drinks and snacks were available, but I had to pay for a sandwich during my 3 hour wait. I have received only a C$100 travel voucher. Needless to say I won't be using it."
Pros: "Staff were friendly and helpful with the situation and delay"
Cons: "The seats feel old and have a lot of wear in them. The plane does not seem clean. They joke about the fact that the delays happen often and they update delays very slowly."
Cons: "Worst delays! 5 consecutive delays which amounted to over 3 hours!"
Pros: "Nice snacks and espresso in lounge in Toronto"
Cons: "Flight was delayed 5 hours due to heat and not good communication to passengers about flight status - plane was tiny. Landing was bumpy. also lounge in Toronto was over crowded"
Cons: "After paying for bag check & being at the airport 3 hours early, the aIn-line was over weight so they removed my bag to the next flight, rather than the gate checked bags! They promised me the bags would be delivered right away, then after I checked, lied to me that they had been picked up by the delivery service."
Pros: "Simple, easy, fast."
Cons: "Small waiting area."
Pros: "The check in process was very easy. The boarding process was very easy. The flight attendants were very pleasant."
Cons: "There was not anything to complain about."
Cons: "Was not happy that the flight kept on getting delayed a 1/2 hr for a few hrs"
Cons: "3 houra delays and no storm!"
Pros: "The flight attendants were very nice and helpful"
Cons: "The flight was delayed"
Pros: "Ease of boarding. Carry on luggage is handled by crew staff - makes boarding much easier as passengers aren't struggling to find space for the carry on bags. The bags are ready for pickup upon exiting the aircraft. Would highly recommend Porter and would use again."
Cons: "Flight was approx. 10 minutes late, but the time was made up during the flight."
Pros: "the lounge was great in toronto. loved the free lattes."
Cons: "plane was delayed."
Pros: "It was fine. Flight was delayed 30 minutes without warning, but not a big deal."
Pros: "Porter was very prompt on their loading and take off. Complementary wine and beer in delight was a bonus. Complementary beverages and he mix was a nice surprise during my layover as well. Their waiting area was large, adequate in seating and comfortable."
Cons: "The bathroom stalls at the waiting luge were small. You can barely fit your luggage in there with you."
Pros: "It was an easy flight but the checking in was slow."
Cons: "Kiosks would not scan US passports. This info was not given to US CITIZENS upon arrival at check in counter.A few of us wasted lots of time trying to make it work."
Pros: "Small lines, great lounge with light breakfast and refreshments for all passengers, very pleasant atmosphere. Quick boarding and almost instantaneous takeoff... nice on board service, with a variety of free snacks and drinks (including alcohol...)"
Pros: "complimentary wine and beer"
Cons: "Constant delays!!! Supposed to arrive in Sudbury at 5:25 - arrived at 10:00 PM!"
Cons: "The flight was delayed. I arrived an hour late and missed my pick up ride.I had to spend an extra $50 to get home."
Pros: "Loved service and lounges. Would absolutely fly Porter again. Lots of legroom."
Cons: "You have to be aware that these are props, so flights do get delayed or cancelled due to weather. Both of our flights were delayed. But they were very up front about it. Also put us on earlier flights automatically which was nice."
Pros: "They didn't know when the flight will take off and when I went to ask she ask me to set down until she find out after an hour delay I had to pay double for the service care for this hour because I wasn't able to notify them of the delay"
Pros: "The seat has enough leg room. The service was very nice on the plane with nice selections of snacks and soft drinks. It also offers wines and beers free of charge. The waiting area which offers complementary snacks and beverages is more comfortable than the one in the US with very comfortable chairs and outlets with USB to charge your phones, computers...It would be great if the US airlines copy their ideas."
Pros: "Complimentary refreshments. Not too much...just enough. Thank you, Porter!"
Cons: "My first time using Porter...certainly not my last."
Cons: "I've flown Porter every week for the past 3 months and this was the first bad experience I've had. The flight attendant was the rudest person and treated me with the most disrespect. He should take off two weeks and then quit, has given this great airline a bad reputation."
Pros: "Love that Billy Bishop airport and its free cappuccino!"
Pros: "Porter is a generous and comfortable airline, with kind and helpful staff."
Cons: "It might have been the weather, but both flights were extremely turbulent during landing."
Pros: "Free beer and snack"
Cons: "Flight was delayed by 1.5 hours. Waited on tarmac in Ottawa because of frozen equipment. In total I was delayed about 2 hours from scheduled arrival in Ottawa."
Cons: "Flight delayed. Seems to happen often with Porter...for some reason."
Cons: "40 minute flight delay with clear weather conditions"
Cons: "Never made it to the flight..."
Cons: "The flight was fine, but the aircraft arrived 3 hours late. That’s a long wait."
Cons: "Check in was just awful. Then a three hour delay and no one was forthcoming."
Pros: "There was a problem with the aircraft in the middle of boarding, so the gate agent delayed boarding so that we wouldn't have to stay in the cold."
Cons: "Plane was tight. Over an hour late. Bags didn't arrive."
Cons: "I didn’t like anything about this flight, except that we arrived safely. I had the last seat, next to the toilet, and that container or whatever it is, was dirty. Every time someone flushed, I was bathed in the smell of urine. It was raining in Toronto; consequently, my checked bag was wet through. I’m glad I was coming home rather than arriving at a vacation destination, where all my stuff would’ve been wet. I’d like to see some effort put into keeping my bag dry. Also, the passengers had to slog through the rain to get on the plane!"
Pros: "The flight was uneventful, lucked out with exit aisle."
Cons: "Boarding took way too long. Typically an airline will ask people to voluntarily check their overhead luggage free of charge if they know it's a full flight, not on this flight. Instead, they tried to get everyone to board with luggage in hand, then once they realized there was not enough space they asked people to hold on to their luggage while they came through the plane to tag it and stow it below - very inefficient and made the boarding process crazy as people tried to make their way around luggage that was sitting in the aisles."
Pros: "Got an upgrade to premium economy"
Cons: "AC was late causing a missed connection to YXE. They were unable to rebook us to Saskatoon for two or three days! They offered standby or Edmonton as our only options. We flew to Edmontonand then drove 6 hours in order to get home for work with no sleep. Unimpressed."
Pros: "That we eventually got a flight home."
Cons: "Being stuck in Boston and Ottawa for 2 extra days and adding around $1200 on to our trip in hotels alone (I was travelling with 4 kids on a school trip and my wife). Additionally, we didn’t find out the flights were cancelled until we arrived at the airport. Apparently, they had been cancelled 2 hours before but there was no notification. Air Canada offered no help whatsoever and the guy at the “service” desk in Boston literally said there was nothing he could do to help. Not even find a new flight. Spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to re-book, plus re-booking hotel along the way."
Pros: "It really sad to know on a 5 and a half hour flight they only offer coffee tea or soda ☹☹ . Never knew about the changes in purchasing a meal or snack.."
Cons: "Should have been informed somewhere about the changes in purchasing a meal."
Cons: "Air canada regularly delayed. It’s their trademark"
Cons: "Air Canada declined to accommodate in next available flight even though the originating flight was on a single Ticket."
Cons: "Extremely delayed, and changed our seats to worse ones"
Cons: "Why no food or snacks?"
Cons: "Food not included with insane flight costs"
Cons: "The television screen with on-board entertainment options didn't work properly, so I was unable to watch movies/television or play games. This was disappointing as it was a fairly long flight."
Pros: "Plane was nice Crew was great"
Pros: "Friendly crew, good food and comfortable seats"
Pros: "The food and the crew"
Pros: "Flight crew was vey nice and flight was on time."
Cons: "Our connecting flight from Toronto to Thunder Bay was cancelled. AC put us in a hotel for the night. Thanks for the $15 dinner voucher. Almost paid for the salad. Then we had to get up at 530am to get the 6am hotel shuttle in order to get back to airport for our 8am flight. They seem to always cancel the 9pm flight from Thunder Bay to Toronto because not full enough. And the last flight is over sold so we have to stay the night in Toronto. Then don't offer the 9pm flight. Passengers have other commitments in their life's. We don't need AC to just hold us over for the night because one of their flights is have empty."
Cons: "There were too many things to mention, but I must say the customer service is not a strong point neither is a customer first mindset. The airlines apparent made several changes between my trip and I was threaten with additional bag fees when my ticket was very clear for two carry-ons and to checked bags, which also confirmed when I confirmed my seat request. After I was required to check my bags, I realized my earbuds were in the bag and the flight attendant did not give me a pair and actually told me I could purchase a pair...REALLY!I just did a 15 hour flight from Dubai, you were delayed by 2 hours on my last connecting flight and you can't comp a pair of .25 cent earbuds."
Cons: "Kiosk option wasn't supporting the baggage check policy, resulting in passenger were unable to print baggage tag and had to wait in long line over 1.5 hrs to check bag with staff. They also understated. It took me over 2 hrs to get throug check in process, not counting 45mins + through security check and custom. I had asked staff to expedite the process. C my flight was boarding. Staff could care or less and walked away. I had to run to my gate and almost miss my flight. Also, I was told that 1st checked bag was complimentary as this is a express aircraft. Staff wouldn't honor that. Come to find out as I entered the aircraft that they made many passengers do the complimentary gate check anyway. Rude and unaccompdating staff."
Pros: "the service was excellent"
Cons: "I wish Air Canada sent check-in emails for flights in as well as out. I didn't get a reminder check-in email when I was flying out and that worried me a bit that there may be something wrong with my reservation. It also irritated me that because I had booked my flight through Kayak and not Air Canada directly I was not able to make any changes to the reservation online - I had to call their reservation phone number (from another country) and be put on hold for 20 minutes (so needless to say it was an expensive phone call)."
Pros: "Super nice crew!"
Cons: "Inaudible boarding"
Pros: "The price :)"
Cons: "Wasn't able to play the videos on my iPhone."
Pros: "The Air Canada ground and flight crews did the best they could in a bad situation."
Cons: "Where do I start? Maybe by saying that I'm really not a complainer. I'm really not. I know there are understandable, although not always pleasant, occurences and situations that cause or contribute to things. But this shuttle flight was a disaster of poor airline planning. The 1.5 hour flight kept getting delayed again and again and again. The assigned gate got changed 4 times and we found ourselves having to walk with our bags from one to another. It finally took off at 12:30 at night with an ORIGINAL departure time of either 8:40 or thereabouts. You're talking about a 4 hour delay. Weather? Raining, but nothing that was serious. It was just, well, raining. No explanation was ever given for the delay although, uhh, complimentary bags of pretzels were handed out. I felt bad for the ground and flight crew. They had to deal with us less-than-pleased passengers and, really, the delay was beyond their control. Which leads me to believe poor scheduling by Air Canada of available planes was a reason. It was all very, very bad and, given a previous flight 10 days ago that took 5 hours instead of the scheduled 1.5, we'll never use Air Canada again."
Pros: "North American flights are definitely not as comfortable as in Asian flights"
Pros: "Crew was very friendly."
Cons: "Didn't realize AirCanada Rouge didn't have entertainment, which allowed me to get work done...but you know, movies are cool too. Also the seats are super close together and make it a bit clostrophobic."
Pros: "entertainment choices"
Cons: "boarding process crew not helpful in baggage storage"
Cons: "Need a bigger seat on a long flight and more leg room."
Pros: "It was a short flight and I shared my seating with average weight people. The crew members and the pilots were very informative."
Cons: "During a short flight there is not much to experimented and less to comment."
Pros: "Boarding was relatively painless. Flight was on time. What i didnt like was the crew. The flight from Toronto to Los Angeles was five hours. They had the fasten seat belts light on the entire trip because they said the turbulence was bad. I have been on alot of flights and let me tell you that the turbulence was not bad at all. After three hours prople decided enough was enough and started going to the restroom. The crew would get all bent out of shape and get on the PA yo please stay in your seats and not use the restrooms at this time. Really!! Well that didnt happen. The only thing they give you is one free drink. No penuts, cookies or pretzels. If you want food you have to pay for it. I sat by the window and my window was all greasy. I couldent really see out of it. I did use the rest room and it was pretty clean."
Cons: "Flight was on time and the restroom was clean"
Pros: "At least it was fast.."
Cons: "No space, no tv, no food, no music, no blanket, no water, nothing. Pack everything you need or bring your credit card"
Cons: "As expected with Air Canada, the service is awful with bitchy stewardesses, the food is poor, the plane is falling apart. Midway through the flight, the plane looked like a pigsty with garbage everywhere. When serving the meals, the stewardess just said to everyone, "You want it or not" and moved quickly with many people wondering why she was behaving so rudely. In addition, we couldn't get clear information about the baggage allowance. This is partially due to booking through Kayak where they don't tell you the baggage limit and some of the flights were code share flights even though all were with Air Canada. Couldn't tell if we had 1 or 2 bags included. This didn't help with our packing. In the end we had 2 bags and wish we bought more stuff."
Pros: "The Air Canada agents and staff were very helpful and accommodating to the best of their ability. I hugged one female AC Agent in TO as she was so kind and helpful, and told her she was the highlight of my day."
Cons: "The processing of Air Canada passengers to the connecting Gates and through Customs for USA international flights was a nightmare. It was very disorganized, with hundreds of passengers herded like cattle, poor communication, customs slips not provided on the AC Flight before landing so as to be completed in advance. There was staff shortage, and not done in a timely manner so as to make your connecting Flight. It has truly been a most stressful experience for me this and each time I have to go through Toronto to make a connecting flight , and I will avoid this flight plan in the future at all cost."
Pros: "The 2-3-2 seat configuration is better for travelling as a duo. We were provided with blankets and pillows for the 9 HR flight. Food was quite tasty for airline meals."
Cons: "Host staff made very few trips up and down the aisles. Have not before been on an Air Canada flight where there are no seat back screens, so it was a surprise not to have any in flight entertainment."
Pros: "It was nice of airline to set up an extra flight in the afternoon so we didn't need to spend even more time in Toronto airport."
Cons: "My first flight had free snacks and movies to watch yet it was only an hour in the air. This flight was much longer with no movies and having to pay for snacks. Seems a tad backwards."
Cons: "Mine and my wife's legs did not fit. The seats were spaced much closer together than is standard, and this made the flight unbearable. I stood in the isle for most of the flight. To make things worse on this 5 hour flight, there was no video available to distract me."
Pros: "Crew very polite and professional."
Cons: "My luggage didn't arrive at destination, so this caused a bit of a problem for me as Philadelphia was not my final destination. I had to take a bus the next morning at 7AM to Pittsburgh. My luggage finally was delivered to me within 48 hours, so that was great."
Cons: "Rouge was the problem here. Unlike regular Air Canada flights, the seats are extra cramped and there are no seat-back TVs or power outlets. (Also, the crew didn't seem to include any French speakers - weird for Air Canada.) I preferenced AC for this flight. Next time I would avoid them if it's Rouge."
Pros: "friendly staff, not a full flight which was nice to stretch out"
Cons: "the food was not great, would have been nice for TV to have hockey championships game available to watch- another airline had this option on a flight during a Steeler game and it was nice."
Pros: "Food was great. Inflight entertainment needs work."
Cons: "The inflight entertainment needs more updated options ."
Pros: "Great air fare. Small airport--easy parking---quick check in."
Cons: "Small plane with limited seat size, but well worth taking to Toronto to connect to major flights."
Cons: "Flight was canceled and next day flight was delayed for 3 and half hours."
Pros: "Air Canada is very good at what it does. The plane was boarded in a timely and efficient way, and the flight was very comfortable."
Cons: "I travel with a briefcase, and although I was among the first people on the plane all of the first class overhead bins were already full. Consequently I had to place my briefcase under the seat in front of me, which left little room for my feet."
Pros: "The flight attendants were excellent."
Cons: "A little more legroom."
Pros: "Flight was less than half full, boarding was fast and flight attendant was great."
Cons: "Not Air Canada’s faultiest but the first 20 minutes were very bumpy."
Pros: "Quick to offer beverage and a small snack. Short flight so don’t expect much. Friendly staff"
Cons: "Snacks need to be updated. Tiny bag of pretzels. Can I have more please ?"
Pros: "The flight brought me to my destination"
Cons: "Long delay, poorly described by the company (was it bad weather - no sign of it - or was it an air traffic control issue, as I think I heard at one point? The seating in these CRJ 100 is cramped, making it difficult to stay seated or to get up, or to move in any way. My neighbor across the aisle kept coughing very loudly for the duration, not using cough drops nor a handkerchief. Inches away from my face. No escaping, no dozing possible. I'll carefully avoid flights on CRJ-100s in the future."
Pros: "Great attendant"
Cons: "Initially quite warm in plane"
Pros: "Service was very good."
Cons: "Promised wifi did not materialize."
Pros: "Quick, jump to Vancouver, prompt and courteous"
Cons: "Plane was dirty due to quick turnover"
Pros: "Very friendly and professional crew"
Cons: "Cramped, late"
Cons: "I’ve never felt sick on a flight before and I felt so sick on this one. The turbulence obviously was horrible but I know it’s outside conditions. I felt very dizzy and lightheaded and thought I was going to pass out. The crew weren’t very friendly to top it off, and I was looking for help but I could barely lift my head up. They were sitting down. I’m not sure why this flight felt like it did but yeah, not a good experience. 36 minutes felt like hours and I felt like kissing the ground when I got off the plane."
Cons: "- flight departed late but been told there would be no problem catching short connection - connection plane was there and still connected - could not board : tickets were cancelled while we were in the air in previous flight! - next flight left actually ... 1 min early. We could have boarded - been told it was because of luggages that could not connect. Lie. - clear case of over booking - disguised so Air Canada wouldn't pay for it"
Cons: "Flight delayed 4 hrs because not enough crew. Despite spending 6hrs in Toronto airport, luggage did not make the plane. Had to delay the final drive home until the next day to wait for luggage to be delivered."
Pros: "Staff were friendly, served beverages quickly"
Cons: "Boarding outside in -30, no wifi or screens, cold on plane while boarding"
Pros: "this YOW-BOS segment is a relatively short flight in a tight squeeze. often this flight departs late, but this time we were well on time and arrived ahead of schedule. this results in happy passengers."
Cons: "Pretzels? In what world are pretzels healthy?"
Pros: "Wtf. They woke me up because I put my headphone on my ear while take off. Wtf"
Pros: "Small aircraft on Air Canada Jazz from Ottawa to Montreal. Ok because it was on 20 minutes."
Pros: "Staff are exceptional and the food is far superior to any other airline!! Always smooth landings so cheers to the flight crew!! Well done and look forward to many more travels with Air Canada!!"
Pros: "There was a nice french flight attendant on my flight from Vancouver to Saskatoon, she was the only nice employee."
Cons: "I took three Air Canada flights for my round trip, and on every single one I was harassed to check my carry on bag. At one point the flight attendant tagged my bag despite me verbaling refusing to check my bag. The last time Air Canada checked my carry on bag they lost my luggage for an entire month. The worst was my flight from Calgary to Saskatoon, where the plane was designed to not fit rolling bags; completely ridiculous. The staff was also rude, short tempered and not helpful. I was always avoid flying Air Canada in the future if it can be helped. My flight going home to Vancouver was also delayed by almost an hour, which meant I spent a ridiculous amount of time in the Saskatoon airport."
Pros: "Music and movies at NO CHARGE. FINALLY some comfort you are NOT charged extra for."
Cons: "HORRIBLE SEAT. Backing onto the toilets. 1) No possibility to recline on a 5 and a half hour flight! 2) Flushing toilets behind me. Extra upset since I am a frequent flyer and Aeroplan member"
Pros: "Short flight"
Cons: "Cramped seating"
Pros: "The flight was on time and got me home quickly."
Cons: "I have a small roller bag and this is the first plane on which it wouldn't fit and I had to check it."
Pros: "Boarded early and flight only had about 15 people aboard. Ottawa to Montreal is only about 15 minutes in the air and about 30 gate to gate - so not much to say. Flight was smooth, but for short flights you have to disembark outside. Thankfully it's April."
Cons: "This flight literally never even happened. It got cancelled when we already boarded the plane and sat there for an hour."
Pros: "Not even a bag of pretzels! Step up your food game Air Canada. The announcements were far too loud and the entertainment system was glitchy."
Cons: "Flight delay-Nothing on time"
Pros: "Direct flight from YVR to SAN. Haven't been on a direct flight in ages. Small plane had amazingly good leg room and in-seat entertainment."
Cons: "Both departures delayed from 25-45 minutes. Would have given a better rating if an announcement explained the problem such as bad weather, mechanical issue etc."
Pros: "I liked that there was entertainment included for such a short flight."
Cons: "I disliked nearly everything else but the foremost issue was the insanely long delay that meant arriving very late on a Friday for a very quick visit to California."
Pros: "I was at the very back in a window seat and towards the end of the flight some water was dripping on me from somewhere above the window. Made me a little nervous. The headphone jack only worked part of the time, sometimes it was OK but if I didn't put it in JUST RIGHT then the audio would sound garbled and useless."
Pros: "Plane small but comfortable"
Cons: "No food service"
Cons: "2.5 hr late departure, originally stated as a 30min delay which was never achievable seeing as they knew the plane hadn't even left Boston yet."
Pros: "It was good to be home"
Cons: "Crazy to be at check in 3 hours early. Had confirmed check in 45 min before flight went to security, was turned back due to my service dog--AC had to "see" me but no one at PDX desk so I missed my flight. AC offered the later one--for a fee. Very stressful will not fly them again."
Cons: "Noisy vibrating aircraft"
Cons: "I found out they switched the time of the flight for 12 hours later than what I bought. I received one email and the time was in military time. I think it's criminal to change the flight with this big of a change. Also no confirmation of if it was received. I planned my trip and was totally thrown for a loop with this dramatic of a change. I'll never fly air Canada again nor will my family."
Pros: "Quick and quiet and smooth."
Cons: "Finally got off my first plane with mere minutes before my connecting flight to Windsor left. Had to run through the entire airport to make it to the flight before they closed the door, which led to my baggage not coming with me."
Pros: "1. Friendly flight attendants 2. Clean plane 3. Quick boarding 4. Plenty of space and flight attendants allowed everybody to sit 1 to 2 seats since so many were empty - that was much appreciated!"
Cons: "This is more of an airport comment. The gates should be posted on tickets/board much sooner and since international passengers have to recheck the luggage in Toronto, more guidance should be provided where to go. Of the international airports from 1st world countries, this Toronto Pearson is one of the worse for those that have to transfer."
Pros: "Service good"
Cons: "Cold meals"
Pros: "On time, no frills"
Cons: "How does someone who books out 2 months in advance end up on standby without knowing it? I figured it out only because I asked the Air Canada service rep in the original airport to print out boarding passes for the next leg of the flight. I paid full price for the tickets, refused to pay the extra $15/seat to pick a standard economy passenger seat and am relegated to standby. Very poor business practice with even worse communication to the consumer."
Pros: "Friendly gate agents and flight crew"
Cons: "Delay on inbound flight made us about 15 minutes late"
Cons: "Delay 1 hour, small plane"
Cons: "Cancelled due to "weather," although other flights were still going to this destination. And because they labeled it as a weather cancellation they gave us no vouchers for anything. They had initially rebooked me for a flight 2 days later...and the flight I ended up taking now included a layover and brought me to the furthest airport in my area. Highly doubt I'll fly air canada again."
Pros: "On the way to Toronto the take of, flight, and landing kind of rough. On the way back from Toronto the flight was late."
Cons: "This flight was cancelled. We were rebooked for two days later. There was no compassion, no offers of help, no compensation. Our treatment was very disappointing."
Pros: "nice airport"
Cons: "No one told me I had to exit and enter via U.S. customs at Ottawa - so that was a near fail - figured it out with time but then the ongoing flight was delayed an hour anyway. Worst, I somehow left my passport on the plane or in Ottawa gate and air canada is just uncontactable- I think their chat and phone are outsourced to India - no useful information or help. Big nightmare for me. My fault perhaps but their singular refusal to help or communicate was terrible. Sad."
Pros: "For some reason, always the most comfortable flight. The seats are comfortable and there's a lot of space for such a small plane."
