Meals were not so good. Snack between the meals was very bad. Like Japan Airlines, they could eliminate the snack and make the second meal much better.

It's very confusing because Kayak has it as American Airlines, but it was Hawaiian Airlines, but operated by Alaska Airlines. I had to go to the airport for my boarding pass because American said I didn't have any trips.

Food was bad, sandwiche with cold cut meat was not labeled and and none of the flight attendants could tell what kind of meat it was (beef, pork or turkey). People have dietary and religious restrictions and "I dont know" is simply unacceptable. One flight attendant was extremely rude and unprofessional. Filed an formal complaint withAA regarding his behavior

Baggage allowances are terrible and the experience of only being allowed one bag and paying so much to take sporting equipment to a known ski area should be addressed.

Crew was clearly not loving their jobs at any point of the entire trip. Flight back from Mexico, I asked if they had food for sale for the 2.5+hr flight and they did not have any. The business class trip to Mexico also had noted that the catering company forgot to load food. The last leg of trip back had a similarly unhappy crew, a broken toilet, and my seat was broken (reclining would not lock which made landing a crossfit like event). This was a bad week for AA.

The aircraft had several problems - from excess fuel to non operational ac. Two hours of delay in Chicago could have been avoided with proper planning and aircraft maintenance.

The flight was on time and crew were nice, seats were tight and there was entertainment available

Internet was a bit expensive and did not work ask that week otherwise a good flight
