Cons: "Delta flies a lot of the CRJ planes, even on relatively longer trips. Traveling first class, the seats are a little wider than in coach and have a little more leg room, but calling it "first class" is a bit of an exaggeration. It's more like what coach used to be before the days of the flying sardine cans."

There was a one and a half hour flight delay from LAX to Seattle. From Sydney Australia to LAX entertainment system didn't work the whole entire flight, they were screaming children the entire flight, and Delta had double booked seats on several different people. There were no apologies and no compensation for any of the incidences."

The man who wheeled my dad to the gate was very nice and he said he arranged for all of us to sit together, which was nice because I wasn't able to sit with my parents since we weren't able to choose the same row when we booked. When we boarded, we found out that the seats hadn't been changed, and the person who previously booked the seat beside my parents refused to move so I sat in the row beside them. These problems were minor but they highlighted a lack of communication between staff and the attendant dealing with us wasn't the most friendly either. I used to fly westjet in the early days when I still lived in Canada and I've noticed that the level of service has gone down. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity and space to comment. This is a small airport - TRI cities TN - absolutely zero customer focus by and American Airline employee - and I asked to sp all with a supervisor and manager with the hope I would get my phone back. Worst service and zero caring attitude I’ve dealt with - and I fly a lot. It will be Delta from here on out. I went on line and filed a complaint and lost and found report - am betting a large amount of money I hear nothing other than an automated reply."

New York to Toronto, Toronto to Edmonton and return. Not one single flight was on time! We got put in a Hotel - only nice part of the trip - got Vouchers for $15 each - such a low amount!!! Didn't get our luggage with our clothes and amenities to use at the hotel - had to sleep in our plane clothes. Spend extra money we didn't have... it was awful! We will be staying away from Air Canada for awhile!"

What should have been a quick 1.5 hour flight and 8:30pm arrival thus became a sweaty 4-hour ordeal and almost 11pm arrival. Not the end of the world, but I was a bit taken aback at the absence of apologetic behaviour, like perhaps serving drinks while we're sweating on the tarmack, or heaven forbid, a meal of some sort considering we were departing later than we should have all already been home."
