When I called Delta to figure out what was going on, I was put on hold for two and a half hours. I'm not giving the flight a bad review, since I never got on the plane, but I'm disappointed with the accuracy and care for customers that I've experienced with Delta service. Delta was the first company I've ever flown with when I first started travelling when I was twelve years old, and it is unfortunate that I will probably never book with Delta again."

Even at the lowest fare class. Not Westjet, their automatic computer seating assignment gave us seats in separate rows !! When asked at the checkin and also again at the gate, we were told that the fare class that we paid for does not allow seat changes. They simply would not seat a parent and a child together unless we paid extra $25/person to change seats. This kind of gauging for money was shocking. Especially when there were 3 other rows behind us with free seats together !! This was clearly a case of wanting more money. At the lowest fare class parents travelling with children can expect the child to be sitting separately from them. Or pay up more."

Our seats were nearer to the front, but still in Economy. We found it beneficial for several reasons - were generally served first (food, drink, etc.), de-planed quicker. We also got seats on either side of the aisle, which provides a little more leg room and quicker access to lavatories.
Paid for Air Canada but got Rouge - no entertainment no chargers
Cons: "More leg room in economy class seating. Very little recline of seats. It is torture flying on a Boeing 777 for 8 hours in economy."

It doesn't make sense that the airline just found out one hour before takeoff that the flight was two hours behind. We should have been told sooner about the delay, while we had other choices of alternate flights."
Cons: "This plane was awful. I don't know how anyone who is not miniature sized could be comfortable on this plane. I am 6' 1" and ~ 200 lbs, not huge by any means, but not tiny. I legitimately could not stand up (so I had to sort of slouch walk down the aisle to find my seat at the back of the plane), then the seats themselves were so narrow that I ached terribly when seated in any position for more than acouple of minutes."

Cons: "Plane was delayed for over 2 hours and nobody from United told us it is delayed and for how long etc. Customer service not very helpful"

Missed the second connection because (as the attendants told us) they were unable to get ANY flight information to inform the passengers of where their connecting flight was. They were also pretty snotty and acted like it was our fault that we might miss a flight. I'm now sitting in Houston for the final flight of the day."
