Pros: "Nothing positive to say"
Cons: "Originating flight was delayed, so missed connection in Montreal and had to be rerouted. After going through 5 airports to reach our final destination, we finally made it - without our luggage!!! To make matters worse, the complete and extreme lack of empathy on behalf of Air Canada's customer service desk was less than appreciated by us.... As it turns out, Air Canada was aware all along that we would miss our connection; however, they still had us board our originating flight. The gate agent should have been conscientious and informed us that the delay was ongoing with our flight being number 22+ on the tarmac to take off, thus guaranteeing our missed connection. They should have rebooked us on another flight from our original destination vs rebooking us upon arrival in Montreal to miss further connecting flights. Very disappointed!!!!! Based on this experience alone, never again will I or my family travel Air Canada."

Cons: "I was simply trying to relieve myself using the restroom in the back. I had held it in the entire time during take off but I desperately needed to go. The seatbelt sign stayed on for an eternity so I decided to get up to go when I felt it might be ok. Another gentleman also did so, he didn't get yelled at but I got an earful from the flight attendant and she assumed I didn't speak English because I couldn't respond while trying to hold my nladder."

Pros: "They provided a meal, a snack, and plenty of beverages. The crew was pleasant, attentive, and helpful."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed three hours. My flight and one other were the last to leave that night. There were no TVs on this flight. The only way to watch movies was on a smart phone or electronic device through their app. My poor old fashioned dad, didn't bring his phone so he would have just sat there for seven and a half hours if I didn't let him borrow mine. AirCanada's alternative is to rent an iPad from them, just another way for airline companies to get money out of us. The movie choices on their app were bad and older. International flights usually have new movies to so it is less likely passengers have seen them already."

Pros: "Flight crew was nice and helpful."
Cons: "The in-flight viewing service was not functioning. For an entire 6 hours and half, we couldn't watch movies or anything else."

Pros: "This was a boring flight which is a good thing, no drama, no mechanical problems, no weather problems. More leg room than an overseas flight."
Cons: "There was some confusion during boarding."

Cons: "another delay"

Pros: "Help provided by the whole staff"

Cons: "This flight was two and a half hours late. We lost an hour and 45 minutes due to a mechanical problem with our airplane, then lost another 45 minutes due to a storm in Toronto. Air Canada blamed the weather for our late arrival, my missed connection and claimed no responsabilility for the fact that my trip ended up taking more than 24 hours when it was supposed to take about 9 hours. Also, there was the matter of the lost luggage which was a carry on that I accepted to have checked as the Air Canada staff seemed desperate to check our carry ons on a full flight to Toronto from Montreal. I ended up spending the night in the Vancouver airport without access to my luggage."

Cons: "my flights were delayed, crew could not help me find a hotel, instead had to sleep at the airport, plus my luggage was lost and still no idea what is going on. Had to miss work due to my flight being delayed, was supposed to fly from montreal at 4:30pm to Toronto, then catch my flight to Los Angeles, flight was missed due to weather. got to Toronto and missed my flight, the line to get help was absolutely ridiculous, stood there for 3 hrs along with other travelers. They booked me a flight from Toronto to Calgary but it was for the next day at 410pm on august 1st!!! I had to sleep on the airport floor and spend my whole day there instead of being home with my family I honestly would love a refund..."

Pros: "Very good crue"
Cons: "Very concientiousvAiur Canada employees"

Pros: "The counter assistant was very, very nice."
Cons: "It is good that the flight was very short. The seats were crammed together and the plane was very small. I felt like I was in a sardine can."

Pros: "Service flight on time food"
Cons: "No movies for 7 hour flight"

Cons: "delayed. no explanation for a long time. no agent at gate for alot of the time."

Cons: "No entertainment no snacks no checked in luggage. You have to pay to rent iPad to watch inflight movies as pay for earphones. Air Canada has become a premium priced airline with extra low cost /no frills service. Sad and disappointing. Last time I am flying with AC. Rather book cheaper airlines and know what to expect than pay a premium and get even less than the low cost option. Boarding staff was rude pushing people etc"

Cons: "Gate change but no announcement"

Pros: "We flew Toronto to Milan"
Cons: "Air canada doesn't know how to run an airline and should stop trying. They are hurting all of their passengers, and they do not care."

Pros: "Staff was very helpful and kind"

Pros: "We received generous vouchers, when our flight was delayed prior to its cancellation."
Cons: "The only disappointing thing about our flight was the cancellation without warning and explanation. We then had to work to get on a new flight as some of our party were not automatically re-booked."

Pros: "Cabin service was pleasant and professional, ambient lighting dimmed for sleeping (it was quite late), restrooms were clean, and seats were comfortable."
Cons: "Delayed departure"

Pros: "Loved the direct flight! Landed ahead of schedule which facilitated my workday."

Pros: "The flight attendants were very pleasant and helpful. My entertainment app was not letting me play a movies so they gave me a tablet for free. I thought that was very nice customer service."
Cons: "Nor enough moxie choices and mostly old ones. The exact same ones were playing on my return flight. The food options were not great. Not enough of a selection. Also my daughter and I were assigned seats apart and I felt not enough was done to help us sit together. We had to handle it ourselves once on the plane."

Pros: "Seats are quite comfortable. Flight was on time."
Cons: "Suitcase costs money. Food was ok. No headphones for entertainment. I felt it was like a low cost flght but we paid a regular price."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Flight was delayed for several hours, while the crew assured us it was on the way. When it landed they still said it was being prepped. Then at 10pm or so, they said it was cancelled. Then we waited another hour and a half to speak to representatives and get our hotels. Then another hour to the hotel to go to sleep. Because I had to be back at the airport in 7 hours to catch the next flight. It would have taken me 2 hours to drive to Seattle from Vancouver."

Pros: "Dinner was ok, Breakfast and coffee were horrrible"
Cons: "Very rude staff, would not do anything I asked and responded with attitude"

Pros: "pleasant staff / flight attendants."
Cons: "i was unlucky to get young noisy kids behind me and in my row each flight. but that is nothing Air Canada can do anything about."

Pros: "Wireless was free and we were able to log on to the entertainment website to watch movies."
Cons: "Each chair didn't have a tv. There weren't any plugs to keep electronics charged up."

Pros: "Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but they can only do what is within corporate rules to help you. Their corporate policies are NOT GOOD!"
Cons: "Flying Air Canada is horrible! They nickel & dime you to the point of tears. They charged me $15 per leg to make advanced seat assignments ($60 total) then changed my flights and put me in middle seats on two legs without asking me - I didn't find out until I was ready to board and they called my name to come to the gate desk! They also charge $33+ US to check one bag. If you go over the 50 lb weight limit they charge $100. By the time you add it all up, I could have flown on Delta through the US for less. Trying to get my seat selection fees reimbursed was very difficult; At the airport, they told me to go online and ask for a refund; Online, I couldn't find the way to get to the refund link; Called Customer service again, who gave me an 800# to call for a refund; the person on the 800 # told me I had to request it online but walked me through it to find the refund link; I filled in the online request and was told by automatic reply that Air Canada would investigate it and get back to me within 3-4 weeks. Ugh! No more Air Canada for me!"

Pros: "The crew was very nice. The return seizing was great, also, with the check-in person ensuring I could sit alone."
Cons: "I still deplore that we are not given a glass of wine or a beer. Come on. Such a small gesture would make such a difference."

Pros: "Very nice plane, great service and smooth flight."

Pros: "Flight staff was nice."
Cons: "The plane was VERY tight. It is probably the plane with the least amount of legroom I have been on, very uncomfortable. The flight staff, although nice, was uninformed of the necessary paperwork to enter the DR and, as we landed, it made a big mess because no one knew what they needed and had to start filling out paperwork all at once."

Pros: "Short flight so can't say much. Lol"

Pros: "I wish my INTERNATIONAL flight on Air Canada had been as nice as my flights within Canada and the US. The international flight had no screen to watch movies, etc. theis flight within Canada was very pleasant. The boarding delay was bad, but the flight was fine."
Cons: "Crowded space at Montreal airport and long delay.seemed chaotic"

Cons: "they lost my luggage and their customer service person is not friendly or helpful."

Pros: "Service was on time & staff was friendly and helpful."
Cons: "On the flight back, we had to wait on the airplane for a good hour before we could disembark. But that was due to heavy traffic at the airport and not the fault of the airline."

Pros: "The flight was no cancel because the weather"
Cons: "Waiting too much after landing in LGA"

Cons: "One of my three flights was unnecessarily delayed by two hours, enough that I missed my last connection and had to stay overnight in Vancouver. There were no technical complications or weather complications. It was simply because something had been misscheduled and the flight crew needed a longer rest time between flights. This is completely avoidable, and the attendent who checked me in even said so. While the hotel and shuttle were paid for, Air Canada only gave me a $7 breakfast voucher, which was only redeemable at the hotel's measly breakfast counter rather than anywhere in the airport. For the unnecessary delays I had to deal with, i should had received more credit. This was an utterly disappointing travel experience."

Cons: "Constant gate changes. Getting a seat number assigned was tedious"

Pros: "My flight from Orlando to Montreal was comfortable and convenient. Boarding went smoothly."
Cons: "The overhead bins were surprisingly small so take that into consideration when packing your carry on. Staff was tolerable but not particularly polite or welcoming."

Pros: "Professional fight attendants, very nice."
Cons: "The flight took off late but most of the lost time was made up during the flight time."

Pros: "Crew quite courteous and helpful. Smooth flight and landing. Pleased overall."

Pros: "Efficient and helpful."

Cons: "Air Canada failed to transfer my bag from flight 1 to connecting flight 2. This not only happened to me but to other people traveling on the same connecting flight as well. My bag was delivered later then the promised time, it was also returned damaged. It is now almost one week since I have taken my flight and I am unable to process a claim because they have not updated my file via their Bag Tracer program. It is clear that they still have a lot of work to do to be considered a real commercial air line company"

Cons: "Nice flight"

Pros: "everything was perfect"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "We had to purchase food ."

Pros: "2 seats together"
Cons: "no wine with dinner awful service felt we were bothering the staff movies on AC app were awful food was awful damaged brand new luggage and said they didn't cover the damage awful awful awful"

Pros: "The crew was nice. That's about it."
Cons: "Flight left late. Customer service at ticketing were nasty and rude. Was charged 25 dollars to check a bag on a international flight. The layover in Toronto was a nightmare!! The whole process of customs, rechecking your bag, and Canadian security was way too long and cumbersome. On top of that my flight to the US ended up leaving 1.5 hrs late and most of the wait time no gate attendant was even there."

Pros: "AC gave special seats for free when we told our travel agent that we did'nt like to be seated in the back of the plane. V"
Cons: "Food."

Pros: "Very easy checkin, nice aircraft, very clean, friendly staff."
