Pros: "The crew on Air NZ is consistently wonderful. The entertainment and sets for domestic flights are good, but not great. For international flights, their seats and entertainment are excellent."
Pros: "We paid $400CAD as a OneUp bid to upgrade to Skycouch. We then saw there was a skycouch row free on the plane, and I appreciated that they gave the first choice of this row to paying customers. So we ended up with two skycouch rows, one per person. Was a dream flight, could not fault them."

I also disliked that some of the crew members drove the food/beverage cart violently through the isles and saw as one of the crew members rammed into another person's leg, to only say "oh sorry" and kept on going. This same crew member missed picking up the trash from an entire row and was throwing trash on the floor. She was more interested in caring for a baby on board (not sure if it was her daughter or family member) than the rest of the passengers. I also didn't like the seats were so close to each other, the person in front of me almost hit my face when he reclined his seat all the way back. There wasn't much room to breath let alone stretch."

However, when I boarded and sat in the seat I was assigned, I was moved because it turned out that the couple that was sitting next to me had purchased the seat so they could lay down. I was not only re-seated before the plane took off, but then I was re-seated THREE more times until finally being put in a middle seat after the flight was in flight. To top it all off, the plane was so delayed I missed my connecting flight to my final destination."

I have never flown an airline that re-books you on a different flight when they feel like it. I wouldn't recommend Delta Airlines to my worse enemy!"

Cons: "I fly weekly for work, but last week I got to fly to Toronto for pleasure to see my fiancé. In all of my years of traveling, I have missed a flight maybe 5 times due to traffic, weather, or other uncontrollable factors. It happened to be that on my way to Chicago Midway, there was an accident on the road that stopped traffic dead for 40 minutes. When I arrived at the airport, I begged for people to help me out by letting me cut security lines so that I wouldn't be late, but alas...others were also rushed and the TSA agents weren't too helpful. I arrived at the gate for my flight about 3 minutes late in defeat. Oh well - it happens! What was really unpleasant was that nobody would help me out. I was charged $150 to "change" my flight instead of just getting rebooked on the next one the way any other airline would happily do. And to top it all off, I was given the runaround with 3 different Porter employees diffusing responsibility. I will be moving to Toronto after the wedding but will still work out of Chicago - which means that I could provide business to Porter Airlines for the next few decades! Because of this poor service, you have lost my business. I would rather fly with another airline where customer service is a priority. Losing years of a customer's weekly business over a $150 fee seems to me to be a rather poor business model and I am sorry that the bureaucratic rules in this case could not be bent."

My guess is not enough passenger on the flight to make it worth it to fly for them. They rebooked me 24 hours later. I called customer service to ask for support and I received no support at all. I explained I was having a high risk pregnancy and was out of medication and needed to be at my DR appointment I had the next morning in Chicago. They said that there's nothing they can do. They also said additionally we also want to mention that we do not support for accomadation cost. I did not even ask but it's like they wanted to highlight that no support is given. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Told him I would like support to rebook a non Porter flight to get on time to Chicago. Again he said I am sorry we don't do that. I mentioned I was shocked that they don't even care that I was saying it was a medical reason and I asked for his name saying I will hold Porter responsible if any difficulty would happen because of this. At that point they searched for a solution. He said ok you can be on a flight but you need to board in 30 minutes. Impossible for me to do where I was but this should have been proposed to me earlier so I could have made it. And I would have done it. Second solution he gave me was to be in Ottawa boarding in 1 hour. Again impossible I was in Montreal with no car. He said you cannot hold me responsible if anything happen with your pregnancy I offered you solutions. Thank you Porter all impossible to do at the time you offered them. If you offered them all to me on time that would have maybe be possible. Anyway they made me miss 2 days of work + my doctor appointment I had to go without medication for a few days + paid for a extra hotel room. Next time I am taking air canada delta or United . I will pay more but at least I will have the guarantee to be taken in charge by their customer service if delays or cancellations happen."

Cons: "1. I previously asked for wheelchair assistance for my father and when we dropped off our bags the agent said she would get someone and told us to sit in the waiting area. After five minutes no one came so I went to the assistance desk and they said they hadn't been informed so they sent someone right away. If I hadn't been there to ask, I don't know how long my mom and dad would have sat there. 2. The man who wheeled my dad to the gate was very nice and he said he arranged for all of us to sit together, which was nice because I wasn't able to sit with my parents since we weren't able to choose the same row when we booked. When we boarded, we found out that the seats hadn't been changed, and the person who previously booked the seat beside my parents refused to move so I sat in the row beside them. These problems were minor but they highlighted a lack of communication between staff and the attendant dealing with us wasn't the most friendly either. I used to fly westjet in the early days when I still lived in Canada and I've noticed that the level of service has gone down. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity and space to comment. I reached the airport only to find out that the booking was cancelled by Opodo though I received an email from Opodo 24 hours before advising me to check in on the flight. As I was busy with some construction work at home I thought I would check in at the airport. Opodo advisors were not helpful on the phone and I ended up missing a family get together due to their incompatibility."

Cons: "Did not like the 2.5 hour delay and plane de-boarding/change - this is something that should have been checked before 200 people were allowed to get on the plane and get situated. Also did not like the fact that I called ahead of time (5 weeks) to request a gluten free meal (which was on my flight to Dublin I will add) and it was not on my return flight to the USA. I was starving and was not able to eat that day because the cafes were closed in Dublin (Christmas eve), no food on plane, and because of a missed layover due to flight delay was scrambling to make the new connection and could not get food. Also, rescheduling for missed connection was a nightmare. Not enough personnel to assist in process and took over an hour just to get re-assignment information. Was sent to wrong gate and almost missed new connection. Then on top of that my luggage was lost and the american airlines operating staff sent me to the wrong terminal to make a claim and it ended up taking 1.5 hours longer than it should have just to submit my claim. This is on Christmas Eve mind you, after everything else that is happened that day on this nightmare of a flight. I realize American Airlines is just a partner airline, but you choose to partner with a company that provides sub-par service and an inability to resolve issues so I suggest finding a new partner if you want your customers to have better overall experiences."
