Better job economic explaining what to With luggage and that, while itinerant implies 1 airline, they are only partners and should be treated separately."

We were re-booked on connecting flights different then the one we originally booked and weren't even notified. They have a Delta app, but it doesn't even work right. Unless you physically go to the gate to check to see if the flight is on time, that is the only was to find out if you are re-booked onto a different flight or not. I have never flown an airline that re-books you on a different flight when they feel like it. I wouldn't recommend Delta Airlines to my worse enemy!"

Pros: "I was bumped from an overbooked Copa flight and was offered another that would get me home at 1am (rather than 3pm) or an overnight stay and a flight the next morning. Instead of trying to find a way home from the airport (a 1+ hour ride) in the middle of the night, I opted to stay in Panama overnight. Copa put me up in a very nice Sheraton in downtown Panama City with a pool, several restaurants, a casino... They gave me $20 per meal I'd be staying for (lunch, dinner, and the following breakfast), arranged a shuttle to and from the airport, and, the best part, a $1000 voucher for future flights with Copa within the next year - enough for two more round trip flights."

She assured me that the flight wasn't full and that I would absolutely get a seat. When I got to the gate, there was minimal information available, but about 12-15 people were on standby, including two families of 4 and 5 people. The agents were ill-informed and didn't immediately explain why so many of us were on standby and whether anyone would make it on the plane, or what the other options were for those who wouldn't make it on the plane. Eventually four or five people boarded, another few got moved to a later flight, and 6 including me were put up in a hotel. Betzy, a gate agent for Copa at Tocumen, was absolutely wonderful and so helpful and informative with all of this."

Was told to “go online” and file a lost and found report. This is a small airport - TRI cities TN - absolutely zero customer focus by and American Airline employee - and I asked to sp all with a supervisor and manager with the hope I would get my phone back. Worst service and zero caring attitude I’ve dealt with - and I fly a lot. It will be Delta from here on out. I went on line and filed a complaint and lost and found report - am betting a large amount of money I hear nothing other than an automated reply."

More and more friends, family & 1 flight expert says AA gets more complaints. Will try booking with another airline carrier in future unless absolute emergency to take AA. Worth $40.00 or more extra to get friendly service."

Cons: "the good service at the check in and on the plane, or the great entertainment service, are all shadowed by Air Canada service for families with babies. We live in Vancouver and use frequently either Air canada or British Airways. We have a 1 year old baby, and on BA we automatically receive family seats for no extra charge, which have extra leg room and option for a bassinet. even with a 1 year old baby they have a special seat for that age, instead of a bassinet which fits only new born babies, so our 1 year old baby could sleep in a chair for hours on BA flight we just took from London to Tel Aviv. we got to London on a AC flight from Vancouver, where we weren't given family seats unless we paid more, so we had to spend 9.5 hours with a 1 YO baby at our lap, the baby of course was miserable, so we were miserable, but not just us, everyone in our vicinity had to suffer the baby's crying. On the BA flight the baby could sleep in a special chair for older babies, placed where usually a bassinet is placed, or sit on the floor next to our legs (because there's so much more leg room in the family seats), something the 1 YO babies need very much. Ran to the other end of the airport to be on time. Aircraft wasn't even at airport and flight was over 3 hours late. They couldn't have posted that so we didn't have to run across the airport? Changed gates, but no announcement. One other flyer was looking at the board and called out to the group waiting that there was a gate change. Left Vancouver at 8:00 am, arrived in Boston at 1:30 am. Won't fly with Air Canada again."

HUNDREDS of angry, frustrated customers paid for their tickets, tried to check-in online and arrived early all converged into one CHAOTIC crowd. ADDRESS these issues, FIX YOUR WEBSITE, TREAT YOUR HARDWORKING, PAYING CUSTOMERS with DIGNITY and RESPECT they DESERVE. Competing Airlines are waiting for your dissatisfied customers."

There are clear guidelines about your policies for musical instruments posted on your website, yet your employees never seem to know them. Please have something posted for them at the gates, so I don't have to convince them EVERY TIME that it's okay for me to carry on my instrument in a soft case. A side note: Since airlines started charging for baggage, people are desperate to carry on as much as possible. This means there is always a struggle now against people with a bunch of clothing and personal items in their rolling luggage, to fit the instrument that is my LIVELIHOOD on the plane. Please find a way to make touring with Air Canada easier for musicians. At least return to gate check policies."

For example, I was either stepped on (as a result, being woken up) or my backpack was stepped on several times when an attendant was walking down the aisle, and neither of those things were sticking out into the aisle. This has rarely happened to me on trans-Pacific flights (more crowded, longer flights) so I can only attribute it to the carelessness of the attendants and/or the aisle width but since I think aisle width follows international standards it's more likely the former."

Only bought this new ticket because my existing ticket was not able to get me to my meeting on time, so it was a complete waste of money"

Cons: "Everything else. The only redeeming feature of the flight experience was the great flight attendant onboard and the fact that we actually landed at my destination. The coffee maker onboard had been broken for a long time and the airline couldn't be bothered to fix it. If I were the flight crew, I would have gone on strike. No leg (or arm) room on the express jet really punctuated a 34 hour itinerary with a sour note. I could barely walk off the plane in the end. Less comfortable than a cheap rental truck for the same amount of time. I likely won't fly again with United. I'd almost rather walk next time to be completely honest. At least it would be healthier!"

Cons: "I am young but I am in heart failure and have an artificial heart. I had requested wheelchair service so I didn't overexert myself at the airport and was wheeled right up to the gate. There were two other older passengers in wheelchairs, one on either side of me. When it came time to pre-board flight attendants came up to both men and helped them on board. They ignored me. Then they announced regular boarding. I had to remove my bags from my lap and get up out of the chair and go to the gate to say I needed to preboard. The man looked annoyd and said they had announced it. When I explained how no one came to me but they did the others he said I could go now. I said I needed help with my bags and he acted VERY surly and put out. He did help me but I felt like they assumed because I was young I couldn't possibly be sick and treated me like a liar."

They refused to check my luggage because they said I had arrived too early. I wasn't too early for my originally scheduled flight! I now had to sit in the airport for 5 hours. I had to call home, arrange a sitter for my children whom I was suppose to see at 8:55 pm. They said there was nothing they could do about it."

Tried to check in and check baggage at 9:30am but was turned away saying I could only check in 3 hrs prior to my flight. Came back at 3:00pm to check-in and they could not find my information. An hour later they find out that they cancelled the flight and moved my departure time to 8:25am for that day. They say they emailed 3 times in May but I never got it (I'm a bit crazy about my email staying clean) so they say it might have went in to my spam folder due to they types of emails they send to customers. They only kept repeating that they notified me so there is nothing they could do. I ended up going to Air Canada to get a flight to PHX the next day. No apology, no help, no hotel for the night...Terrible experience by United. They gave me a customer relations group contact information to follow up with for complaint but since they sent me the 3 emails in May about the change, they have no liability to fix the situation."
