A family sitting 2 seats in front moved around a lot while putting their baby and toddler to sleep for the night flight. The attendant discreetly gave those of us earplugs and eye masks to help us shut out the noise. Also, her smile and pleasant attitude made it an enjoyable flight."

Cons: "For the original flight 704 on 6/10/16 We arrived at the airport at 9:30 am for our 11:50 flight, we were ready for boarding at 11:10 but no boarding. They finally announced the flight would be delayed until 1330 then we saw the plane with fire engines on the ground. They then said flight delayed until 1500. The problem was there was no communication from them and lots of people in line to talk with them. Infact communication was seriously lacking and needs a lot of improvement. They finally announced that the flight was delayed until 2200. I finally stood in line to confirm that they had made other flight arrangements for us to get to SF, again they didn't communicate. We couldn't get another flight until 6/11/16 @ 1845 but they did provide lodging and 3 meals. We didn't mind the delay but they need serious on improving their communication with their passengers"

She told me I had three minutes to make a decision or be stuck in Toronto until the next day. My flight was delayed and I would have made it with no problem. I even have Global Entry! My original flight to Miami was non-stop, instead I had to take a flight that connected in Miami. That flight was two hours late! This was the worst experience I ever had!"

Fortunately, I didn't have a connection, but some passengers did, and I hope they weren't delayed. Also, while it was nice that they had entertainment options, it seemed pretty expensive (~$8 for new movies, and ~$6 for VERY old movies (like from the 2000s)). I suppose that's the cost of entertainment, but I have flown with Virgin America airline and they seemed to have more reasonable pricing/better selection."

Worst service and zero caring attitude I’ve dealt with - and I fly a lot. It will be Delta from here on out. I went on line and filed a complaint and lost and found report - am betting a large amount of money I hear nothing other than an automated reply."

Cons: "I don't fully understand why, but I was unable to get my boarding pass for my flight to Chicago from Toronto until I arrived in the Toronto airport. Toronto airport sequesters off international arrivals, so in an ideal world, I would have been able to go through security directly to into the U.S. terminal, bypassing Canada customs. However, the United desk that I needed to get my boarding pass from located just before security was unmanned. The very kind Air Canada attendant called for a representative multiple times, but after 45 minutes of waiting no one ever arrived to print my boarding pass for me. The Air Canada employee then gave up on any United staff showing up and suggested I try going through Canadian customs and checking in at the same departure desk travelers first entering the airport would go through and make sure to let them know how long I was waiting. The United employee I spoke with told me that I was impatient and should have continued waiting because now she didn't know what would happen with my checked bag and that I may well need to wait 2 hours more for that to get sorted out. I was rather surprised by her overly negative response and apparent threat. If I was irate or yelling that might have been warranted, but frankly, I was so tired from the international travel I didn't have the energy to fight with her. Regardless, I wish I had been more impatient, it was far easier to go through customs twice than I expected. I would have preferred to spend more time in the lounge inside the terminal than to stand by the United desk waiting for someone to arrive to print my boarding pass. At any rate, Canadian+US customs have it together; when I went through U.S. customs to get into the terminal they had the photo of my checked bag right there."

I had no option to select seats, and when we boarded I was seated on the last row by the galley with no reclining seats and the florescent lights were on nearly the whole time on a 10 hour overnight flight. There are no seat back TVs and the free streaming service went down repeatedly just like the AC outlet at our seats (there are only two of these for three people). I booked this trip nearly a year in advance, and I am extremely disappointed that I wasn't informed that I was flying a budget airline on a 10 hour flight."

Cons: "We had to walk almost halfway to Newark just to get to the flight. It was outside on the Tarmac at the very very very end of the terminal, I've never seen anything like it before. We also left a travel folder in the seat back pocket containing important documents and a sealed envelope of 1000$ USD. We immediately called to retrieve it and at first were told to file a complaint online, no matter how many times we tried to tell them that time was of the essence in this situation. We also begged the united airlines personnel to speak with a manager and he wouldn't put one on the phone. In the end all they could tell us is that the folder "wasn't there""

Cons: "First flight was delayed, missed next 2 connecting flights. Next flight home wasn't for 24 hours, so had to pay for my own hotel + another $200 for a rental car to drive 5 hours home. Made it home 1.5 days later. They lost my bag, bag made it home 3 days later. Overall, worst travel experience of my life."
