The previous plane was late, but the staff were very good at getting us on. Including warning us that the flight was full, and one could check their bag at the door for free. That did not mean it kept all form resorting to "Karen" behaviors to a degree, but the staff dealt with it very well.

My flight, on Friday, was canceled at boarding time, so by the time that it took to go through customer service, rebook a flight for the next day (which messed up our weekend plans), get my luggage and get a hotel room, it was around 1am. We were notified too late to make other travel arrangements for Friday. My Saturday flight to Bellingham was smooth and uneventful. Hopefully getting reimbursed for the hotel room won’t be a big hassle
I paid for first class and they switched planes due to a mechanical error. I have my 80-year-old mother so I wanted to make sure she was at the front of the plane so when they reassigned us they put us at the back of the plane unacceptable so we sat at the back of the plane no Wi-Fi no video no in-flight texting no sodas were available on the flight it was just a poor flight that made me feel like I was back in 1985. Poor substitute of a plane.

Pilot kept passengers informed of reasons for delays. This is Communications 101 and much appreciated. I also appreciated the reminders (mostly over the public address system) for passengers to wear their masks correctly (over mouth and nose). Not the first time I’ve flown by Dreamliner and it is nice to have snacks and meals included on long flights.
Made a lot of customers check in their bags at the gate. But the cabin space was half empty and all luggage would have fit. Doesn’t make sense.

The power outlets did not work at all, the wifi was spotty, there are no TVs, and the seats are way too narrow. As a positive, we did get in pretty much on-time.

Because of turbulence we were not served anything unless we asked for it. But flight attendants were very nice and accommodating.

And finally as soon as we got off the plane, they were supposed to give us our carry ons on the aisle (Because it was a small plane CR700) , but again, we had to wait almost 10 minutes so that they could send the luggage... To make things worse, I had a first class ticket and I couldn't get the perks of it at the airport. Because they said I wasn't flying in an international flight. Come on?! Canada->USA->Mexico is not International??? You lost me AA."

Class and comfort was very good. Lay flat bed was not as comfortable in the 777 as it is on the 787. Food was awful for this class. This is an issue for BA compared to what it is for emirates and other airlines. Alcohol - wine selection and spirits was typical for this level of class. Overall, I would rate it high.
Too long and the stopover in Sao Paulo add to the flight another 3 hours. Tedious flight. Cannot wait for the direct flights to come back... or I will change to Air France
Plane was 1 hour late - there was no way we would make our connection but we didn’t get rebooked. Flight arrived at the same time as 3+ other international arrivals. Immigration/customs was an absolute mess. Bags came out at the very end, even though we had a very tight connection (which we missed). I had global entry so was allowed to skip the lines but ended up waiting 45 minutes for my bag, so GE was useless. The only redeeming factor was the fact that we were rebooked on a different airline with a different itinerary confirmation. Basic economy is bullshit and paying extra for the possibility of making changes to the res is a horrible horrible idea. I will never fly with American Airlines ever again, nor will I ever book with Chatdeal. Ah yes and my outbound flights were both delayed - the first in was delayed 2 hours and the second one was delayed 7.5 hours, both due to maintenance problems. Fix your planes before they’re scheduled to fly, people. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had, truly.
My trip out was a nightmare of epic proportion. Delayed flight for my flight from SNA to Phoenix had to be rerouted to Dallas Fort Worth to Heathrow I was never notified that my connecting flight from Heathrow to Prague was canceled. American Airlines told me that they would issue a boarding pass for the third leg of my trip out. Instead I got rerouted to Paris dumped with no information for a connecting flight which turned out to be with Air France by giving me no information or any way to be able to transfer to my final leg of my mouth fourth flight I was left stranded in Paris overnight. My bags were also left at Heathrow and I did not receive them until three days after arriving on my trip American Airlines did a horrible job British Airways to the horrible job I’m filing a grievance with British Airways I will never fly with them again. I will have to say that the return trip though went rather smooth they didn’t give me much time to get to my connecting flight from Prague to Heathrow then onto LAX I barely had 25 minutes to make it all the way across the entire breadth of the airport. Service was fantastic on the way back complete contrast to the flight out there which was again a nightmare of epic proportion‘s and enough for me to never use AmericanAirlines or British Airways ever again. The only offset is again the return trip which was excellent other than some very tight scheduling on connections

Cons: "Appeared that there was some inconsistencies in what was allowed to be carried-on. When I checked in, my roller-bag suitcase carry-on was not allowed to be carried on and it made me scramble at the last minute to grab items I wanted for in-flight use. The odd thing was that the flight was less than half full and there was lots of storage space. Plus a young male was allowed to board with a very large duffel bag (larger than my roller), an over-sized skate board, and a personal backpack and a pillow."

Cons: "My onboard entertainment system's headphone didnt work. I Was told there is nothing they can do about it, which is fair enough, but i dont think it was fair on me. People kept bumping into my shoulder but i guess there isn't much that can be done about it."

Cons: "The flight staff of my flight to Amsterdam were horrendous. I was in an aisle seat and was woken up by the drink cart hitting my leg and a hot coffee being poured a good 7 inches from my face. This was not acknowledged or apologetic. They also took drink orders by shouting. They were easily the loudest people on the plane and made the flight way less comfortable than it could have been."

On other BA flights, there has been excellent attention to detail in Club World. This one was very poor."

Cons: "The plane was an old Airbus 310 with no entertainment systems in the seat backs. Instead, it was equipped with the old-style system where everybody watches the movies on a few screens. The choice of movies was poor: the "feature film" was a nature documentary made by Disney where they gave the animals names and talked about their feelings. The food on the flight was awful. We were told there would be be a choice of chicken, beef, or vegetarian noodles. But apparently there were only 5 chicken meals placed on the plane, so the only non-veg option was the beef. This consisted of 3 small pieces of beef in a gravy, and a pile of mashed potatoes with an unfamiliar texture. It was also oozing some sort of orange fat. Not very appetizing. Due to weather, the flight was unable to land in Montreal, and had to be diverted to Plattsburgh, NY. I don't blame Air Transat for this. We sat on the tarmac for 2.5 hours in Plattsburgh, but at least we had air conditioning, and the crew served us water. (This is better than the planes that were diverted to Ottawa that day.) We were assured by the crew that, while we surely missed our connections (to Toronto in my case), the Air Transat agents were well aware of the situation, and they would rebook us and we would arrive home that night. Upon arrival in Montreal, nobody from Air Transat seemed aware of the situation. I was with ~50 other passengers trying to get to Toronto, and the agents had no idea what to do. They sent us to a gate, and told us there was a flight leaving at 9 pm. (The flight was originally scheduled for 5:45, but, again, I don't blame them for the weather.) When we got to the gate at 8:45, there were no Air Transat agents anywhere. Passengers became agitated, and we tried looking for Air Transat agents at other gates, again with no luck. Some passengers even tried calling the Air Transat call center, but they couldn't get through. There was one Air Transat employee present, but when she saw the group of 50 of us, she hid behind the door to the jetway. (She said she was off duty.) By 9:30, some agents arrived. They were just as confused as us about the flight, and did not know what was going on. In particular, they thought there should be a flight crew present, but they couldn't find any. Eventually, at 10 pm, they announced that the plane would be leaving at 12:30 am for Toronto. Restaurants were closed at this point, of course, but at least a bar was open. By 1:30 am we eventually departed, after waiting for passengers to arrive from Ottawa. I have never seen so many sleeping people on a plane before it even took off. Total transit time from when I boarded in Barcelona to landing in Toronto was 20 hours."
