Pros: I stayed here for a week with my partner to visit family in the area and explore the falls. The Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were cozy with duvet blankets and big pillows. The room was a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. Customer service was on point and staff was really friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again when visiting this area if we can find a decent deal again on rooms like we did this time.

Cons: It was a Sheraton not a Marriott, I have stayed all over the world in Marriott but this one was sub-par. I could've stayed at Sheraton instead and pay a lot less than paying Marriott money but staying in a Sheraton. In all I would never stay at this hotel again.

Cons: We were charged for Wi-Fi when our stay was over which should be included. Parking at the hotel was expensive. After paying high prices for a room it seems unreasonable to have to pay $30 per night for parking. We booked our room through a booking company so our rate was a bit cheaper, but be prepared to have quite a bit of coin for parking. Restaurants and coffee shops in and around the hotel have huge price jumps. We found it better to travel away from the tourist areas for drinks and eats. There are plenty of amazing options that aren't far.

Cons: The bathroom door, while very aesthetically pleasing, was not very functional for a group of people.. the door didn't close all the way (it was a sliding barn door type style) and it didn't allow for the bathroom activities to be "separate" from the rest of the hotel room. The only other issue I had was the paying for parking (two nights was $70) and the breakfast buffet, while very good, was $22 a person.. just a hair on the expensive side for those two items.

Cons: Air conditioning was broken. Room was too hot and we couldn't do anything about it. Staff put an industrial fan in our room. Staff was very cold and didn't seem to care at all. Satellite tv was broken too so, no tv. When asked they said they are working on it. Happened due to a storm that broke the sattelite. Ironically there was no storm. Don't know what they were talking about as I live in the area.

Cons: The pictures on-line were doctored to make it appear that the marriott was in fact in the location that is actually the fallsview casino. I chose the hotel and paid extra for the view but felt mislead by the photo online. Also I was not given marriott points for my stay because of booking through a third party. I won't do that again.

Pros: Arrived a little early but reception said rooms were not ready but would be ready at 3:30. She was curt and spent more time telling us what she could not do for us than actually helping. We pre checked in and We left for sightseeing and got back to the hotel at 3:25. Our rooms still not ready he told us to wait a few minutes in lobby. We waited 20 minutes in lobby until we told we can go up to our rooms.

Pros: I LOVED the AMAZING view from the 12th floor of the Niagara Falls and the Ferries Wheel. Definitely family friendly with a 15 minute walk to arcades, restaurants, 4-D kids movies, bowling, laser tag, etc. My hubby and I will DEFINITELY return again in the Summer. The staff was AWESOME. BEST TRIP EVER!!

Cons: The rooms were a disappointment. The rooms had a strong odor of chlorine because we were on a low floor above the pool. I am extremely sensitive to smells and it really bothered me but when I addressed this issue with reception he looked at me like I was crazy

The bed's dressing consisted of an uncovered duvet sandwiched between two flat sheets. I've never seen such a thing before.
Our room was on the 7th floor with a balcony, which is accessible from a number of rooms. As a result, we got to listen to one woman's phone call as she paced the entire length of the balcony.
The breakfast brunch is absolutely not worth the expense.
Staff refused to remove the DMDF and DMDF HST charges from our bill, stating the chargers are "mandatory". The lack of transparency with these charges is super sketchy so double-check your reservation/agreement in advance.

Cons: The hotel had several doors which said they could only be opened with a room key during the day and were locked between 12 am and 6 pm. This was not the case. I did not feel that the hotel was very secure, and being so close to a number of tourist attractions, this was worrisome. Although there may have been some confusion on our part, the hotel does NOT have an outdoor pool. Finally, although the lobby and main section of the hotel and newly remodeled, the section of the hotel we were in was in the back building, an older section that has not been remodeled. I do not know if this is due to the fact that we booked by a third party site, as the woman at reception pointed out at check in, or if this was just due to the amount of bookings. The newer section of the hotel was substantially updated compared to our area. We had a very old toilet, that actually need housekeeping attention during our stay, an extremely old shower head that did not really get all the shampoo out, and a faulty breaker that tripper while we were getting ready to go out.

Pros: I spent a nice birthday weekend here with my wife in the Fallsview suite with the jetted tube. Walking in to the room I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing the view of the falls were (identical to online photos). I ended up staying in my room majority of the time because the view was all I needed. It was breathtaking and relaxing from the sunrise view to the evening lights. Also, the jetted tube was extremely relaxing. I highly suggest spending a little extra money to stay in that room for a romantic weekend.

Pros: I spent a nice birthday weekend here with my wife in the Fallsview suite with the jetted tube. Walking in to the room I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing the view of the falls were (identical to online photos). I ended up staying in my room majority of the time because the view was all I needed. It was breathtaking and relaxing from the sunrise view to the evening lights. Also, the jetted tube was extremely relaxing. I highly suggest spending a little extra money to stay in that room for a romantic weekend.
Cons: Many of the close by foods are big chain places. I suggest going at least a mile away from the hotel for really good food, such as the Weinkeller.

Cons: The bathroom was toward the front door so the one person in the bedroom has to walk thru the living room/other person's bedroom to use it. Usually we find suites that have the bathroom in the middle and it separates the two rooms so,there is no disturbance when using the bathroom

The desk clerk explained everything very well and the room was very spacious and well presented.
It was only when we opened the curtains that we noticed the view of the falls which was stunning.
The shower was amazing, powerful and felt like a massage for my shoulder.
The bed was so comfortable I was off to sleep immediately, which after a 10 hour drive was very welcome.
The location is great right on the main drag of Niagara Falls, everything is conveniently close by.

Cons: The casino across the street has a massive parking garage attached, so the "falls view" from the hotel is mostly a parking garage view, with a sliver of falls visible above it.
Elevator call buttons were out. This seems minor, but you should have seen guests stabbing at buttons. Does it work? I dunno, better hit both up and down to see if anything works. Stabbing buttons, no response, stabbing buttons in frustration. So minor, such an easy fix, but such an annoyance.
The hotel is surrounded by absolutely awful food options. Expensive and abysmal quality. There are good food options in Niagara Falls: use Yelp to find them and go to them. It will be worth the walk/bus to get away from the horrific food choices near the hotel.
And the room had a weird smell. I think someone before us spilled something on the carpet. We stayed only two nights, so we just powered through. Housekeeping should have caught this, though.

Discolouration in bathtub, missing fixture in washroom with insulation falling out of it, pull out sofa bed had a broken corner, closet door was broken. Look like there was water infiltration problem on the mezzanine and looby. No sign or mention of the cost of parking and it turn out to be 44$ a day with tax which is overpriced . I mentioned all this at checkout and all I got as a response “ thank you for letting us know about the problems with the room “. Nothing else.

Cons: Something to keep in mind while reading this is me and my girlfriend are early 20’s, we are young.
When pulling into the parking garage we were given an option of self park or valet, we asked how much parking was, if it was ridiculously expensive we would just park in a parking lot as we were only one night. We were told self parking was $35 and valet was $40, so we chose to park at the hotel in the self park. During check out we received the bill and we were charged $35 for self parking and $45 for parking. We told the person serving us that we were told it was only $35 to park for the night and we would have just parked in the parking lot nearby for $30 if we knew it would be $80 here. The response we received was “I’m sorry sir but this is what we charge”. I’m not upset about the price, more so that it seemed we were lied to about the price.
As well during our check in we noticed everyone in line was asking for the highest floor possible when checking in or asking to be put on a higher floor once they were given a room. All of these people had their requests met and some were given multiple options. When we got up to the counter and were checking in we asked to please have the highest floor available. The response we received was “I’m sorry sir we do not take requests, we only give what is available”. This was upsetting as everyone else had there requests met, where as we were we told no.
Once entering our room we noticed outside our window we had a big pillar right in the middle of our view, blocking most of it. The main reason we booked here is because we heard of the great views. We were not happy about this as we booked a room with city view, not a pillar view. When we received our welcome text message, they asked if there was any complaints and if so they would make it right. We told them about this and that we were not happy with the blocked view. We received no response. They then sent a second message, again asking how everything was, again we complained about this and again no response. We did not have time to talk to the front desk as the lines we very long and we wanted to enjoy our night.
It was very upsetting with all these complaints we had, since we did pay a premium to stay here and no one seemed to care about our experience. I feel like a lot of this treatment was because we are so young and this is a “fancy” hotel. In the end I likely will not book here again and I likely will not recommend it either.

Cons: I am single man traveling with two kids. I booked a room with city view. I selected this hotel rather than others was because the pool. Upon arrival I was informed that the pool was closed then I was given a room that seemed worse than a cheep motel. I went back and requested another room. In which they were nice to give another room.
So what exactly made this a bad experience was mostly with the stringent rules and false marketing by kayak
1:- there was nothing on kayak site that the pool was closed
2:- there was nothing about extra fees that the hotel will add to the reservation fee this amounted to an additional $100 a day (parking was $35 a day)
3:- when I called kayak to see what changes can be done they offered me a 10% refund which it came to $50. (Nice right!!) however if I wanted to move to a different hotel I was going to be charged $75 what a joke

Cons: We had called earlier to let the front desk know that the guest was celebrating her birthday with her family but it seems the note was not left on file. This was disappointing as the customer service rep assured us a note would be put on file. Not the best example of effective communication amongst staff.
Also, the pool was closed due to renovations and this is normally a big part of our leisure enjoyment when staying at Hilton hotels.

I pre paid for the hotel then got invoices for another 209.00 at checkout for these fees and 45.00 per day for parking. They we’re kind enough to comp my parking for the inconvenience of a hot room.

Pros: The suite was a excellent choice for us as it gave our party of four room to spread out. The room was clean. The breakfast was good, but go down before 9 AM to avoid the crowd. The location is great as the entrance to the Falls' Visitor Center is right below the hotel. We are planning a trip back in the Fall and plan to stay here again. It is a little pricey, but I feel you are paying for the view plus location which is worth it.

Pros: The suite was a excellent choice for us as it gave our party of four room to spread out. The room was clean. The breakfast was good, but go down before 9 AM to avoid the crowd. The location is great as the entrance to the Falls' Visitor Center is right below the hotel. We are planning a trip back in the Fall and plan to stay here again. It is a little pricey, but I feel you are paying for the view plus location which is worth it.

Cons: The worst part of the hotel is the staff. They don't give you options they are always up selling even when not interested. Parking situation is the worst. They said it's $35 per night and it ended up being $123 for two nights because they didn't disclose the tax for me. 10% tourism tax is mandatory only at this hotel and its voluntary everywhere else. Scam artists! My original receipt showed $277 and final receipt at check out showed $647
The only things I added are parking $35/night , $50/upgrade to junior suite and that's it !

We got there early and had a good view of falls but by 830 it was crowded by the time we left it was packed a long 45 min wait line outside to get into restaurant. First thing they do is they give you a slip that shows the times breakfast is not crowded go early.

Pros: One of the only things that this hotel had in its "pros" column was the closeness to Niagara Falls, and the fact that we were able to check in 2 hours early.
Cons: Where do I begin? Once we checked in in the chlorine-scented lobby, we loaded our luggage in the elevator to head to our room. Because the hotel only has one spot for guest elevators, we spent the next 4-5 minutes walking the long and winding hallways to locate our room. Once in our room, we noticed the strange set up for the bathroom: toilet and shower/tub in a closed room, sink exposed in the main living area shielded only by a small wall. Moving into the bed/living room, our "view of the Niagara" was awfully green; apparently the trees hadn't been trimmed in a while. We called to the front desk to see if we could switch rooms. While the staff member was friendly, he informed us that because we booked a room with 2 double beds, he could do nothing for our concerning our "view."
Since we drove 6+ hours to see Niagara Falls, we needed a place to park our vehicle while we explored. Fortunately, the hotel has a good sized parking lot that they allow guests to utilize...for a small fee of $25 per day.
My next trip to Niagara, I will most likely splurge and book one of the nicer hotels neighboring Oak Hotel.

Cons: They "upgraded" us in a room with a king sized bed that was actually a double bed made up for one adult. We had to call down twice for extra pillows. They actually put us in a wheelchair accessible room 421 with no tub, grab bars everywhere, and a chair in the shower. The water gets everywhere in the bathroom because there is no lip to keep the water in when we put the white towel on the floor to stop the water it turned black underneath from??? Dirty floors. There is no fan in the bathroom to remove the steam so when you shower it gets really hot and hard to breathe. Then, after you run the water there is this terrible rattling sound in the wall the pipes make. The dresser drawers are broken and hazards and never stay shut. When this was brought to the attention of staff upon checkout they basically apologized and said that "well we upgraded you, we would have put you on ground level outside in the motel next door with booking.com" because we only paid $265 for the night.. Who knew that the shitty motel next door to the hotel was actually a part of the hotel. It looks like somewhere you go to get murdered not a place you spend $300 bucks to stay. I suggest save your money and go somewhere else. Would only be worth it to spend maybe $50 but parking in itself is $25.

Why is there paper on the hallway windows? Stairwells were dirty and crude. A continental breakfast should be included for that cost. The room had a tired,dated appearance in contrast to the main entrance.

On week-ends, expect families with kids that will monopolize the pool and Jacuzzi at certain times.

Cons: Some of the towels were slightly dirty and there was mold on the shower curtain. The swimming pool and the whirlpool are inside the front entrance (same place as the breakfast and check-in), so it's very hot and humid in that space. It also smells of chlorine everywhere in the hotel. For this reason, I think, the air conditioner was on the whole time (even though I had turned the room unit to heat, because it was snowing outside)! The room never smelled of chlorine though. The TV reception was also spotty at best, but ultimately not an issue, as I was out most of the time. The elevators are a little slow, but very cool, one being glass and facing the inside of the lobby.

Not going to lie, I jumped straight in when we got there, and then had another in the morning before we had to go for breakfast it was so glorious to have a jet tub six feet from the foot of our bed!
The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious and there had been recent updates and improvements. The AC did its job very well. The TV's a little weird to figure out, but once you do you'll be fine.

Pros: We had a King bed with jacuzzi room. The room was large and clean and better than expected. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Location was great!
Cons: When we checked in, our reservation said King room with hot tub, but they put us in a small king room with only a stand up shower. They switched us to the appropriate room after going back down to reception, but it would have been nice to skip the hassle. The jacuzzi jets weren't very strong. The shower is in need up updating.

Pros: Once we got to the right room, it was awesome. We had been biking through the wineries all day on a hot-hot day so were super glad to have the jacuzzi. Not going to lie, I jumped straight in when we got there, and then had another in the morning before we had to go for breakfast it was so glorious to have a jet tub six feet from the foot of our bed!
The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious and there had been recent updates and improvements. The AC did its job very well. The TV's a little weird to figure out, but once you do you'll be fine.
Cons: Overall it was a decent stay, for the money. There were a few little things (in-room coffeemaker didnt work, towels were scratchy hotel towels) but my two big flags are as follows:
Upon our initial check-in, we were assigned the wrong room (one without a jacuzzi!!!). I called front desk and they mercifully had the right room available, but the other couple we were travelling with had the same thing happen... Check your reservation.
When we got in, it was too early for dinner so I called to inquire about a snack and a glass of wine (there was nothing in the minibar) from room service. The front desk clerk said she'd have to call me back, and then never did... BYO in-room snacks.

Cons: $38 (US) of extra, unadvertised charges were added to my bill. The TV in the room was non-functional, the bathroom door would not close ... the entire city of Niagara Falls is a tourist trap, so this hotel fits right in.

The rooms were outdated, musty and damp. The carpet was loose and needs to be cleaned.
The cleaning staff cleaned half of the room, my son made the 2nd bed and they left towels on the floor. The adjoining room, which was family, had their room door left open.
The amount paid per room, I was hoping for something a little nicer.
I felt that because we booked with an outside agency, we were stuck in the basement instead of the main building which was nicer. There was signs stating there was vacancy, so I'm sure we didn't have to be put where we were.

I have travelled all over and stayed in 2 star to 5 star hotels. Never have I been told that I could no longer use my ac. Not sure if this is an issue with kayak or Travel lodge but this is clearly false advertising.
Also, when the heater/fan did come on it spit water out onto the floor and bed.

The double beds were the most lumpy and uncomfortable things we've had to sleep on.

Pros: The hotel had a unique feel to it that gave it beauty. The rooms were not your generic, cookie cutter hotel rooms and neither were the grounds.
Cons: We could hear our neighbors next door fairly clearly, and they were not being rude or speaking too loudly. The restaurant was overpriced for the quality and the advertising of the restaurant (for instance the ad in the elevator for the main restaurant showing Small Plates available when they are only available in the Lounge). Kayak lists them as having room service and we were told this was not true, but if they were "not busy" they could run us up a plate if we asked - from the overpriced restaurant menu only. The "lounge" and "bar" are neither - they serve alcohol and have a few chairs set around coffee tables where you can sit in the "lounge."
The wifi is advertised as high speed, but it is far from it. We were lucky when we had signal, so I'm glad that it was free. And if hearing the neighbors wasn't enough, we looked out onto a night club whose music was clearly heard through closed windows while the TV was on. Although they do offer TV, most of the channels were fuzzy despite perfect weather. We chose to leave early as this was not the relaxing anniversary weekend we had planned.

Cons: The room was very small There wasn't enough room between the wall and bed to stand and get in bed, you had to enter from the bottom. Mold in the Bathroom and Bathroom was outdated. It was functionally difficult to use. The drain in the sink was busted and the shelf covered 1/2 the sink so brushing your teeth was difficult. .
A room with 2 queens should accommodate the people and luggage associated, and it was very tight
-The staff try to upsell everything. If your hotel includes breakfast for 2, the try to upsell you on the delux package. It's not service for service sake or to be a great hotel, but just another way to extract more money from you.
-Dinner and breakfast was expensive and includes a "tourist tax"
-We stayed in 6 hotels as we toured through Canada and although the view of the falls as great, it was our least favorite hotel of our trip.

Pros:
Cons: The hotel didn't have the room we reserved and ended up switching our room twice. We ended up with a room with no air conditioning the room was disgusting they only gave us a small desk top fan since the air conditioning was broken. The desk attendant was not trying to help us at all. Other people were complaining of their rooms leaking and making a reservation and the hotel did not have a room for them. I was extremely dissatisfied. Hot day in August with 2 small children with no air conditioning and lazy staff. I will never stay there again. Also WiFi was horrible we only had a couple towels in our room and the towels had stains on them. The sheets were dirty and the tub had water in it that would not drain. I was totally disgusted.

Cons: Wifi was so bad we had to go to Debby's and that cost me $60.00 and breakfast was hard to get. Do not stay here. The location is good.

Cons: Bathroom tissue holder broken.
Part of hotel is a separate 2-story building, like a cheap motel. Which you would not know, until you are placed there at check in. When it gets colder, it becomes a problem if you are traveling with kids and want to use the pool.
Parking is not free, but it's not uncommon for a Niagara hotel. Lesson for me to ask about these details before booking

Pros:
Cons: Front desk was inconsistent in notifying guests of $15+tax parking fee, therefore we were unaware until check-out that this had automatically been added to our bill. Staff unwilling to waive this fee despite the fact that we hadn't been notified on check-in.
Overpriced given that it was a Saturday in October, and we weren't able to access our room until 4pm even though check-in is at 3pm.

Pros:
Cons: The walls are paper thin and a group of over 20 people were having a party next door. I called down to the front desk twice and eventually the police came. When I told them that no one should have to pay for such a horrible stay...with no sleep! They told me that I could forget about not paying for the evening. Very disappointing.
