Cons: The breakfast was served in the room which was a good feature. However, the hot food cooled off and dried up during delivery. The food was preselected with multiple items but essentially the same breakfast arrived every day. I suggest a microwave in each room to warm up food if needed. Additionally, the raised floor in the bed area seemed to be a safety risk.

We walked around the city rather than buy the WEGO passes - and the location of this hotel is not great for walking. While I can sympathize that this was out of their immediate control, I do feel that the staff could have been a bit more understanding to the frustrations of the paying customer and less concerned about how this was affecting their own workday. Not much was offered in the way of apologies for the inconvenience of waiting over 45 mins to check in and then only having 1 out of 2 rooms ready for us.

Cons: It's a little deceiving looking at pictures through the bookings.com app. I booked a king room with a hot tub, the picture looked like it was a big room with a hot tub in the room, what I got was a small room with a king bed, and the tub in the bathroom had a jet tub. I booked this room for my 20th anniversary, kinda wish I went with a different place for the money, overall it was good just not exactly what I was expecting looking at the pictures.

The beds were great, the bathroom was super clean and the vanity and sink were outside the bathroom so someone else could use it when someone was in the shower. Two bottles of water provided in the room daily. Didn’t have a whole lot of interaction with the staff only because there was nothing we needed to ask for. Rooms were cleaned and resupplied early each day. Everything was available exactly as we wanted. Would suggest walking down the street about half a block and doing the double decker tour which takes you to everything you would want to see on the Canadian side. Skylon Tower was awesome for diner and the zip line experience is not to missed. These are all within walking distance.

Cons: It’s not a hotel, it’s a motel. And not a very good one. First, they advertise they have “Falls-view rooms”. Yes, but only if you get a king room. They don’t offer it for the Queen rooms. I asked for a double queen room, but it was actually a double full. The light fixture are falling off the walls. There was mold on the ceiling and the trim on the sink was rotting and falling off. The pool was dirty. There were large cobwebs, both inside the room, and a huge amount everywhere outside. And the breakfast is almost inedible. Very disappointed.

They should have been no different than any other choice hotel scrambled eggs, but they weren’t. The area for the breakfast was such a big area but was so dirty. The rugs in this area was soiled so much it was awful. Didn’t enjoy breakfast there at all.

I'm wondering if this how they downgrade the guests to the lower floor to have more rooms on higher floors. If you run to a similar issue, insist on your booking and claim what was promised to you. Our room didn't have a refrigerator.

Cons: We purchased a city view king suite for our honeymoon to only enter a room with construction on the outside and no view at all, we were over charged for our stay and when brought to the staff attention told we purchased a tour that we did not purchase.

Cons: We called downstairs to talk to the front desk, I also answered the text message that is sent to your device about your stay. My partner and I booked our room online and have stayed at the Hilton a couple of times previous. The room wasn’t to great, the view was a city view but the construction on the roof was being worked on so we didn’t keep the blinds open because there were men working on the roof. It was also very noisy. The jacuzzi tub we asked for and added on with our booking didn’t work and we had to call maintenance up which detailed our plans a bit because we had to wait for him to come and fix it. It was our anniversary so we were pretty disappointed with our stay and when I told the front desk before we checked out she said there wasn’t much we could do expect go downstairs and talk to the manager. Which we didn’t have time for or feel comfortable doing.

Cons: The condition of the room was unacceptable when you're charging over $--- CAD per night. Housekeeping did not do a thorough job. We had to wait until 6 p.m. to get into our room and that was after having to call to see if it was ready. Check in was at 4.

Cons: The view although a fallsview room 2409 had a huge screen shining in. The staff did not make us feel welcome at all. And $49 for parking is outrageous. The room itself was ok, shower was teeny tiny. We are typically Marriott guests and to be honest will stick with the Marriott for our semi annual family getaways. Your hotel also did not offer us any coupons for attractions at all as the Marriott always does. Thanks for the stay but when booked the $ amount was about $75 less (with taxes and fees) than the final bill.

Cons: The common areas were less than desirable. It is a VERY busy facility so maintenance is less than desirable. Elevators were alwAys difficult no matter what time of day. The property looks like it was a walk up that was modified, so it seems borderline sketchy.

Cons: It is a bit pricey if you can find a groupon then get your moneys worth (I mean you’re barely in the room and we paid $250 pn) our room next door was the worst. They were very inconsiderate and had their kids running the halls and bouncing around past midnight. Not the hotels fault, we were able to get a later check out- manager was nice.

Cons: This is an OLD property. Rooms are very small. The bath tub "dips" and we had to use a washcloth on the floor of the tub to keep from slipping while we showered. Hair dryer had a short in it. You had to force the door of the room to close properly. For a Crowne Plaza it was a disappointment. Our "view of the falls" was if you looked at an angle to the side of the window. Not impressed at all.

Cons: The hotel is very tired dirty and left us feeling ripped off. My wife's clothes where ripped by a nail sticking out of the bed. The room smelt of mold and was very very small. The bathroom was dirty, pubic hair in the soap tray... Mold around the bath etc. In the swimming pool the jacuzzi was out of action and looks like it has been for a long time! Really disappointed with the crown plaza. I pi ked them because I have been impressed in other places by this brand. But a real let down here.

Cons: The room were given was an adjoining room. We could hear children in the room next-door when we arrived so upon entering the room later in the evening we tiptoed around not to wake the children next-door. Unfortunately we did not receive the same courtesy the following morning just before 6 AM children were up screaming banging the father or grandfather of the children screaming at them and it woke us all up was very unpleasant.

Cons: Showed up for our 4:00 check-in at 4:15. Very busy and room still wasn't ready. Didnt get up there until about 4:50. They are undergoing renovations, but it isn't prominently noted (I needed to search the app for a little bit before I could find it) and the staff didn't warn us. Room was dusty, had paint spots on the floor, and bathtub felt grungy. Ice machine on our floor inaccessible and vending machine in lobby out of order. Toilet seat was not installed straight. Front staff said if there were any issues to call down to them, so we did that multiple times but no answer as they were still overwhelmingly busy with check-in. Thought we try stopping in at the front desk on our way back from buying pop from a store down the street but they were still too busy. Small paid parking lot. No garbage in room

Cons: The vendor David & the hotel staff Abrar was very rude. No apologies for the inconvenience caused, in fact we were told that a favour was given to us for giving a room incomplete with no amenities.

Cons: Room was not cleaned...when we told them, they upgraded my room without extra charge, but that upgraded room also with dirty floor and furnitures. Electric outlets was not working properly. Air conditioning was not going to enough cool. Free breakfast hasn't whole milk, no orange juice- because it is common. There was not waffle measuring cup, so first time when I made waffle, it has not enough dough... second time I took 2 cup mixture, and it was more than waffle maker tray. Guest Printer was not working.

Cons: They accommodations where bad. They put us in the outside motel like facility and said that's what we paid for which was terrible, then they stuck us in a floor that was under renovation that the air quality was unacceptable and Lastly they put us in a room and charged us a extra 30 dollars we thought on the original price but it was for every day. We had to argue not to pay not only us but they did the same thing to evey customer. Never again would not recommend it to anyone

Cons: The pool was under renovations which I was never made aware of, very dissapointing when your children get all there swim stuff on, walk across the parking lot to the main building and down a long hallway to see a room full of mattresses and furniture. Our room was not in the main building, hallways were very dirty with stained carpet, pop machine was out of order and ice machine was missing. The phone in the room didn't work, the lady at the desk said that we could sign into Netflix if we had an account which we do but, another staff member that came to give us the Roku password so we could sign into the t.v. then denied us saying it would slow down the wifi for everyone else. The channels in the guide were all wrong and there were barely any channels to watch, could only get a couple channels with extremely old shows on them.

Cons: Had to ask twice to have the toilet seat tightened, extremely loose and could cause injury. Had to ask twice for wash clothes. Breakfast was horrible. Noticed fire exits were partially blocked, smoke detectors on the first floor were covered with tape, being in the construction industry I understand taping the smoke detectors while performing tasks the create dust, however life safety is priority and the tape should have been removed each night. Pool safety issue! Entry door to the pool area was removed which presents a danger to wandering children.

Cons: Go to the quality inn hotel and was told my room was in the 2 floor motel in their parking lot, low security. Full of hairs and very dirty. My car was towed within first half hour of checking-in.

Cons: Front desk was inconsistent in notifying guests of $15+tax parking fee, therefore we were unaware until check-out that this had automatically been added to our bill. Staff unwilling to waive this fee despite the fact that we hadn't been notified on check-in.
Overpriced given that it was a Saturday in October, and we weren't able to access our room until 4pm even though check-in is at 3pm.
