San Francisco hotels in Tenderloin

Cons: Wifi was horrible!!!! Hounded daily to attend a Wyndham time share opportunity. Just one restaurant. Very loud in the mornings. Bathrooms were horrible and small.

Cons: Con: It was at 2:45 AM and closing the windows didn't help block out his persistant drumming.

Cons: Two complaints although minor would have been easy to fix. The room had a coffee machine with packaged coffee but house cleaning forgot to leave new coffee packets for Sunday morning. The car was valet parked in the garage for the weekend but it was returned with some very minor new scratches on the drivers door.

Cons: Everything. Especially the manager.

Cons: It was so loud in my room all night long, I couldn't get a good nights rest. It was like they were rolling around dumpsters right under me all night long.

Cons: The hotel has a funny smell. I didn't like it.

Cons: The neighborhood didn't seem to be the best. I didn't feel unsafe, but it wasn't the poshest of areas. It's a little bit of a hike from most of the touristy places, but if you're okay with using public transportation it's not too bad. The beds are due for an upgrade, but not totally uncomfortable. While there is free Wi-Fi, it's a bit glitchy and only worked some of the time. The fitness room is small and the only treadmill was broken, which is what I intended to use.

Cons: Beds are horrible. I chose the location so I won't complain but not much around the hotel. Biggest issue was we found a roach in our room. That was pretty gross. This was a prime example of you pay for what you get. But the staff was great.

Cons: Hotel Staff had attitude from the beginning when checking in Checked in and saw the room, would not be a bad room if updated and clean I have stayed in many hotels and this is by far the worst including 2 star hotels that I have stayed at. The carpet had who-knows-what stains in front of the bed and bathroom the bathroom was smaller than any average bathroom the crown molding along the ceiling was even lopsided and parts of it were 3-4" lower than others felt very unclean and gross terrible terrible location, located right near a red light district The only dining is for a mel's drive in diner that offers cheap american food. Would be expected at a cheap hotel or motel not a hotel you spend 290 dollars per night

Cons: Would recommend curved shower rods to give a little extra room. Because of being an older building the electrical outlets are minimal and had to do some rotation of electrical devices.

Cons: The only thing I did not like is that the hotel os smoke free. The need to offer a place for guests to smoke outside

Cons: Bird poop on my car even though it's covered parking. Noise from garbage container cleaning at 10 pm and 7 am right below my room. Getting from parking to lobby is just sketchy.

Cons: The ice machine was kind of hidden on the third floor. Kind of weird. Also, no fridge or microwave in the room.

Cons: Bed was not very comfortable, rooms were small, AC was bad and could not be adjusted after a point, bathroom light kept flickering, expensive parking, included breakfast was of a poor quality, no bathtub in the bathroom.

Cons: Smelled bad and was in a pretty seedy area

Cons: you have to pay extra for everything --went to go see if could print out boarding passes..the computer cost $5 for use....finally the front desk offered to do it nothing around to eat ...far away from bart station...buses are close though...had to 7-8 to union square...to civic center ..just inconvenient to fun activities...too many ppl and not enough food or variety in morn...

Cons: There was a strange smell I couldn't really identify, which first reminded me of a grandparent's home. When I returned to my family, I was told I smelled like a bandaid, and that was similar to the room's smell. Not unpleasant, just disconcerting.

Cons: It would be really helpful to have coffee makers in the room or room service -- there is coffee in the lobby, but if you are traveling with kids or have an early morning, it is useful to have it in your room. I didn't care for the fact that the water bottles in the room had price tags. It would also be nice if the wine service rotated wines.

Cons: Hotel Monaco used to be one of my fav hotels in SF. This new Marker is horrible. They closed the spa, breakfast is extra charge. Parking costs 58 dollars. Short on staff to take phone calls. Take your business somewhere else.

Cons: Hidden Fees!!!! They charge hidden "amenity" fees at check out. Not an honest business.

Cons: Lobby gets a bit busy as it has bar area open for all to use Room was not checked and had a few teething issues, but quickly resolved

Cons: There was a whistling sound coming from my window when the wind blew. The window was fixed, so it was not slightly open. The sound made it difficult to sleep at night, so I had to put on a white noise maker from my smartphone to be able to sleep. No free wifi in conference facilities was annoying.

Cons: The construction in front of tower 1 make a lot noise beginning at 3:00 am in the morning. Even there was a worker singing at loud

Cons: location was horrible. very scary ....for the money I paid this location is not acceptable. I was attacked by homeless angry people couple times . One time I had to run for my life also the place was pretty old and there was a smell in the rooms. no fridge. at the time of check in , the price for the room that you can get the room was cheaper for $25.00 than what priceline gave me

Cons: Lobby was always quite crowded, as it's a very large hotel.

Cons: This particular Hilton offers less services for Honors. Hot breakfast cost on top of the continental.. I had a junior suite - a very large empty room with a dormitory style studio bathroom. Be sure to compare to other Hiltons in the area.

Cons: The funnels of it all great people great staff and an all around great time with everything that was offered to me that's all

Cons: There was no fridge in the room and parking was pretty outrageous, $47/day plus an $8 parking garage fee?!

Cons: Air temperature is controlled by the front desk. You will need to call them to adjust (really, are we in the 1970s???)-unbelievable). The air condition smelled like mildew and gave me a headache the following day. My roommate kept coughing the whole night which we suspect was due to the mildew coming out of the A/C vent. Bathroom floor was not cleaned. Found gross hair (and other too gross to mention) on the floor. Corners underneath the sink have dust balls. the bathroom toilet plastic seat was burned that it looked like you poured acid on it. I cannot believe they have not replaced it. The electric plug in the bathroom is not secured and about to fall off, the hair dryer would not turn on because of the faulty plug. (Again, really????) So disappointing as when I think of Hilton, I think safe, clean and decent...not the SF union square. Front desk was very unfriendly. No welcome or "enjoy your stay" greeting. He couldn't find our reservation. When I showed him the confirmation number, he gave me the look and said "oh that's hotel.com's"...whatever that meant. As if he was treating us 3rd class as we had not booked it directly with them. After a few minutes, he finally found our reservation. Again, very unpleasant.

Cons: Front desk staff member was rude and kept cutting me off when I was trying to describe the following.... The air conditioner in my room was broken - they didn't repair it till the next day. Room service breakfast order was wrong, and then cold, and overcooked.

Cons: no gym. They partner with an off site gym but they charge $15/day/person. rooms are tiny; so are the beds.bathroom are extremely uncomfortable. i hate to say it, but it was not worth the money.

Cons: I travel often and ive never had such a tiny room, bathrooms were ridiculously small., literally had to be on top of the toilet to close the door. The hallways including the rooms smelled like a public restroom. Not amenities whats so ever. Surrounded by the homeless as soon as you walk outdoors. And the view of a cement wall was just amazing as well. I have had better accomodations at a Motel 6. Never again will i spend money at a Warwick Hotel. Next night i stayed at the Holiday Inn for the same price and had an amazing view of the city, bigger rooms, free wifi and just a bigger overall hotel.

Cons: The bed was really mediocre was really looking forward to a nice comfy hotel bed after a long day of travel

Cons: The staff at the front desk was constantly trying to overcharge or upsell. It was annoying and I didn't like having to constantly say no. Once I say no once, that should be it.

Cons: The noise level was ridiculous and they knew it was terrible and there was no fore warning. Terrible.

Cons: Pricey parking, scary corner of town.

Cons: All the extra hidden charges. Said wifi was free but wasn't. The sink wouldn't drain. And the tub/shower was filthy. It didn't feel 'luxery' at all.

Cons: Facilities in extremely poor condition. Rooms and lobby very musty, dated, carpet was consistently sticky. Extremely small rooms, small bathrooms, small beds.

Cons: There was Black MOLD growing all around the bathroom ceiling and someone else's clothes were underneath a chair in the room.

Cons: There was a crack in the sink in the bathroom. The decor was a little gaudy. The worst part of the stay was having to listen to the people in the adjacent room scream and cry from 1:15am to 2:30am. We called the front desk a little after 1:30am and security did show up around 1:45am, but that didn't stop these people from continuing for another 45 minutes.

Cons: Location is in a difficult side of town. Hidden costs such as a $22.00 tax. We made them take it off. $59.00 for parking we were not told about the cost. Then our account was charged other amounts we had no idea what they were.

Cons: the urban fee is a ripoff

Cons: Room wasn't that clean, dust balls and items under the beds. Beds very soft as mattresses were old. Bathrooms looked very tired and were cramped. Wallpaper scuffed up badly. Needed remodel. Also there are a lot of homeless in this area, I got woken up every morning in the early hours with neurotic screaming and shouting from people sleeping outside.

Cons: Room was overbooked so had to change rooms for one night. But it was ok because we got an upgrade

Cons: The lukewarm/cold complimentary coffee served the days I was at the hotel.

Cons: Room - small, low on facilities eg no kettle for tea making; noisy pipes; hotel 'resort charge' of 20+ per day for wifi and coffee station in lobby is bit cheeky for tech capital of the world with over 100+ starbucks in city

Cons: Whatch out! They have a $20 fee that is added on after you book for coffee in the morning, news paper, and bike rentals.

Cons: Valet parking was not cheap, as is normal in San Francisco.

Cons: Sadly, maintenance has waned since the hotel was sold to an investment company.

Cons: The rooms are small, which I expected from an old building. The mattresses are awful (truly, truly awful), which I din't expect and the price is high for low amenities and low quality. Also, the valet parking is $60/day. When we checked out, they asked how our stay was and I told them the mattresses were really uncomfortable and they just sort of ignored that. They probably hear it all the time. I won't stay there again.
