Pros: The location of the hotel is very good, and the hotel itself, is very welcoming. A very nice hotel.

Cons: Unfortunately, the staff were not as helpful as what would be expected in any other given hotel. It took longer than expected to get the rooms which we had booked, ie a twin room which was available but not made available right away. Requesting a taxi on our departure to collect a rental car, was also difficult, as the concierge suggested we go there first and return to collect our luggage. This would have impacted/delayed our plans, and was just not have been feasible. In the end a taxi was booked by ourselves, directly with a taxi company.

Pros: Bed and room were ok. The cleaning, concierge and bell-staff were friendly and welcoming.

Cons: The room looks tired, as does the rest of the hotel. I was disappointed both on check-in and check-out with the staff. On check-in I was handed the room card and then she immediately moved onto the next customer. No indication which floor my room was, or indeed where the lift was. On check-out the front desk lady just stopped speaking after she gave me my receipt. Absolutely no pleasantries, or as much as a have a nice day was offered.

Pros: Pretty, clean, upgraded for free to an amazing room that totally made the stay amazing. The view was unreal. The girl that checked us in was so friendly.

Cons: didn't like that I had to have the authorization to use my company's credit card, and I was not told this information before arriving. I didn't have this issue in other hotels, and I booked through booking.com. Almost went to a different hotel!

Pros: The staff were always polite and friendly. The downstairs lounge was ideal after a busy day, a place to relax on deep sofas, order a drink, and catch up on social media and emails etc.

Pros: Beautifully decorated. The staff were attentive but really relaxed. Great rooftop bar, lovely room service food, especially breakfast. Room was great, really comfy bed. Location was great. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Cons: The restaurant for dinner was limited for choice but the food was very good. No coffee or tea in the room.

Pros: The Staff! I write about hotels for a living and they had no idea I was there which is the best way to tell how good service levels are. The staff made the experience.

Cons: The neighborhood is sketchy. That being said... San Francisco is a large city. I used car services to get around and the bell men/valets couldn't have been more helpful.

Pros: The modern design and customer service .. quite rooms almost triple glass insulated .. great location fast walk to everywhere.. rooftop is beautiful and if you stay at hotel you are always guaranteed to have a spot!

Cons: The smell of weed outside the hotel and the homeless scene is sickening.. maybe enforce some pls do t smoke around the hotel

Cons: The hotel was well decorated, sexy and had a great vibe. The rooftop bar was awesome and had lines out the door everyday for the sunset. But the tenderloin is an awful.

Pros: Really nice lounge just off the lobby. Great room layouts. Really loved the sofa with table and adjoining seat, large flat screen TV and bluetooth speaker. Bathroom was contemporary with a large waterfall shower head.

Cons: The area where the hotel is situated is one of the worst parts of town. Lots of homeless people everywhere.

Pros: Service was so friendly it actually seemed odd, especially for SF which in my opinion isn't the greatest city when it comes to service.

Cons: The location is convenient, but you are still in the TL, so not the greatest location to go wandering around unless you are familiar with the surroundings.

Cons: I have bed bug bites (!!!!!), and have tried to tell them twice through two different customer services contact routes, and heard nothing back. And they can't help it, but that part of town smells so so bad from all the defecation in the streets.

Pros: The man responsible for the bell desk, Ruben, was exceptionally nice and helpful. He gave us good tips about where to eat, what to visit, etc. The location of the hotel was also very good.

Cons: Breakfast was very expensive and could have been included in the price. Beds could be a bit larger.

Pros: Close to all the best parts of San Francisco. Great local transport and the view from the rooms was unexpectedly good as we looked out over the city and towards the bay. Room service was prompt and cheaper than eating out or in the restaurants.

Cons: Hotel in main shopping area but not did not feel safe after dark. Lots of restaurants around but the area put us off being out in the evenings. The decor was very dated and very brown. Didn't feel clean. I expected to pay the price quoted when I booked but in fact the cost was about 30% more than anticipated so be prepared.

Pros: We loved the 23rd floor and the view from our room. We could see the parade and crowds from above instead of joining in on the giants parade. We also felt the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet with relatively little street noise.

Cons: We were not happy with the additional 120.00 U.S. added to our bill. According to Booking.com, we were quoted 798.00 for the 4 nights. On our print out, it stated "total costs" 798.00. Nowhere did it state that there would be an additional 120 added. We would never use your website again.

Pros: We only had a short stay - stopover of 2 days as we were on route to Canada. Close proximity to Union Square / Cable Car and city shopping and ofcourse the easy access from SFO Airport via the BART. $10 return trip each was a steel. Hotel staff excellent. Room was perfect - high floor with views and the bestest 2 x Queens - very very comfortable

Pros: The staff were brilliant, the room/bed was very small for a queen but it was comfortable, robes were provided in the bathroom and the coffee machines were great.

Cons: The walls are paper thin, it's like you are on the street. And because this is a less than desirable area, the copious amount of homeless people right outside the hotel are extremely noisy at night. I also didn't feel safe walking to the hotel at night due to the area, which is a shame because the hotel itself was lovely. Also don't waste time with the airport transfer, an uber would cost the same and be more pleasant.

Pros: The room was great, they upgraded us to a suite for $10.00, which gave us a second bedroom. The coffee was actually espresso which I enjoyed. They tv's in both rooms were also a plus.

Cons: Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, I don't even know where to start... My fiance and I decided to spend 3 days in SF, and we picked this hotel because it seemed not too far from the centre but also the pictures looked good on the website. The truth is that, not only the area is terrible, full of homeless people, drug addicts (which makes it very unsafe and uncomfortable to walk) but also the rooms and the hotel is bad. We probably got the second most expensive room which was the queen room, it was supposed to be a quiet one. The bed was extremely small, towels were dirty, carpet in the room as well. The AC was not working and we woke up in the middle of the night with a strong terrible noise from the AC. We called the reception and they changed us to another room, that was probably as noisy as the AC, because it was right on the main street. You could hear the people in the street passing and car/sirens from ambulances...we ended up not sleeping the entire night. The second day we went back to our initial queen room and someone supposedly fixed the AC...which started making the same noise on the 3rd night...but this time they didn't have any other room available so we just had to stick with the noise and not sleep for another night. Overall the poor reception lady tried to get a discount, which didn't even cover half of the night that we spent in the other room (which was a downgrade). And the manager did not even make himself available once to talk to us which we found ridiculous. Last but not least on the checkout day...after knowing that we had the ac noise the entire night and basically did not sleep, they did not let us have a later checkout all they gave us was 1 extra hour, and every 15 min a cleaning lady came knocking on the door asking when we were checking out on top of phone calls from the reception. The cleaning ladies would also have no respect what so ever in the morning...

Cons: The hotel itself was fine clean, friendly staff but location wasn't the most desirable I wouldn't walk in that particular area at nighttime.

Pros: The area is a bit dicey with the amount of itinerant people around on the streets. Felt a lot safer in other parts of San Francisco than I did around the hotel.

Cons: Homeless all around, fights in the middle of the night in front of the property, very noisy.

Pros: The bathroom was the nicest part of the room, which was clean and modern. The staff were friendly. The location was nice and safe. It took about 40 minutes to get to most major tourist sights in town, which is quite a way but then there were good night time food and drink options within walking distance.

Cons: The room we had does not look like the photos on the booking.com listing at all. It was much smaller (quite difficult for two people with cases to move around in), without a beadhead or bedside tables. The furniture was mis-matched (the table was more like an outdoor patio table). The blinds were mis-matched so one did block the light out but the other one let all the light in. Just the little details that meant that it wasn't as neat and nice as the photos look. I was also surprised/disappointed because I had messaged in advance to say it was our honeymoon and received a reply saying that we'd get a nice room so I was expecting one more like the photos. It was also very noisy from street noise. I had brought ear plugs with me and could only manage to sleep with ear plugs in. Overall, prettydisappointing and not very good value for money all things considered.

Cons: The windows are opened into some sort of a hall. It would be OK if the hall didn’t have a closed, glass roof which does not allow any flow circulation. There is a fan above the bed which allow you to sleep, but the air in your room isn’t fresh at all...
