never seen an international flight , over 5 hours that had no food provided. we flew from iceland to vancouver, no food, no even a snack. For entertainment you had to buy the headphones which are normally also provided for free on any other airlines.
Did not like last minute change to our itinerary that made us spend the night in the airport
We had to be bussed to the plane. And it was raining. Not a pleasant experience.
Most of your crew was very helpful just one young lady wasn’t, but all of the ones I dealt with were great. We had to buy food on a six hour flight and considering we had a three hour flight before this one I felt we would have a meal included. I ordered a sandwich and by the time I got it, it was quite soggy so couldn’t eat half of the sandwich. Other than the food, or lack of, the flights were great.
The ground staff was very helpful and the flight attendant as short but good.
Late start due to so called cargo door, super expensive meals and baggage check( only airline where meals and baggage is charged on long international flights) slow baggage delivery at end a lot of employees at airport standing around talking to each other.
7 hours 15 min flight from SEA to Iceland with no inflight entertainment and no power to charge your own devices, also no meal service, not even any snacks/cookies. You have to buy food and the options are extremely limited (i.e. ham and cheese sandwich and spicy cup noodles). I didn't think Iceland air was a budget airline, maybe I was wrong, the cost of the ticket didn't feel like it though.
Horrible. I was placed on standby for no reason and they would no allow me to fix the seating into the gate. Plane was hot. Entertainment was abysmal. Seats only take old USB or even older jack plugs — not lightening plugs like all modern phones. Food is pay as you go and awful. Seats were small and uncomfortable. I do not recommend Iceland air.
Not good. It’s a terrible budget experience and the crew were not very helpful. The plane was so hot and uncomfortable and the entertainment was awful (not even headphones offered and antiquated jacks that don’t work with new iPhones). I was placed on standby for my flight home for no apparent reason, causing me to be put in the worst seat and at the end of the plane. They did not try to fix the situation.
