COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type

Visitors from Canada must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken within 72 or 48 before departing to Saint Martin.

Details and exceptions
The result must be from a COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure or an antigen test, taken within 48 hours before departure.
Quarantine requirements

Unvaccinated visitors from Canada will need to quarantine for 7 days upon entering Saint Martin.

Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.

A repeat PCR test must be taken at the end of the 7-day quarantine.

Travelers must present a sworn statement that they have no symptoms and that they are not aware of having been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the 14 days preceding the flight.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type

Travellers returning from Saint Martin must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken within 72 hours before departure to Canada.

Details and exceptions
Children under the age of 5 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test, other exemptions includes, a crew member or a person who seeks to enter Canada only to become such a crew member, emergency service providers, technical stops – flights refueling.
Travelers are required to take a COVID-19 test on arrival in Canada at their own expense. Travelers are also required to take another COVID-19 molecular test on day 8 of their 14-day quarantine. They will receive a COVID-19 test kit and instructions before leaving the airport/border. Those who refuse will receive a $750 fine.
Fully vaccinated travelers must have received the full course of vaccination, or a combination of vaccines Pfizer,Moderna,AstraZenecaa(Covishield),or Janssenat least 14 days before arrival in Canada.
Quarantine requirements

Unvaccinated visitors returning from Saint Martin will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering Canada.

Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.

Details and exceptions
Certain persons are exempt from the mandatory quarantine requirement when entering Canada for the purposes of performing an essential job or function as identified in the Order under the Quarantine Act. Exemption will be validated for each entry into Canada.
